1 starJanuary 2025, I closed my *** in ***** using legal zoom services. October 2025, charged $499.00 for **************** "services" for closed ***.Legal Zoom did not correlate the closure, via their services, of the *** to no longer needing their registered agent services.Customer Service was lacking in knowledge and ability to resolve issue. 1 starAbsolute Scam They Take Your Money and Vanish!LegalZoom is a complete joke. They happily took my money, then their **** website froze right after payment. I couldnt log in, couldnt access anything I paid for. When I finally got someone on the phone, the so-called customer service agent kept repeating the same useless line: Call your bank for a refund. Then they hung up on me like it was nothing.This company is nothing but a money-grab operation hiding behind a fancy website. No help, no responsibility, no respect for customers. 1 starThis is a FRAUDULENT company violating numerous consumer protection laws as a business model. Well over a year after cancelling my account and I'm still getting hit with monthly charges despite multiple attempts to cancel my account and subscriptions monthly charges for a service that was never even set up in the first place. And when I try to cancel it now, I get the runaround from customer support, telling me I can't cancel this mystery subscription through their website, and they can't cancel it for me only "Earth Class Mail specialists" can cancel it because they "handle all virtual mailbox concerns," but the number I'm given is an invalid number, the second one leads to a voicemail.

1 starSEVERAL HIDDEN AND UNADVERTISED CHARGES NOT TO MENTION THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EXPERIENCED. THEY ADVERTISE FREE LEGAL CONSULTS; I CLEARED MY SCHEDULED FOR MY CONSULTS THEN THEY CANCELLED THEM SAME-DAY AND HAVE THESE RIDICULOUS "EXCUSES" AS TO WHY THEY CANCELLED. DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO HELP ME GET THEM BACK. CUSTOMER SERVICE MAKES PROMISES AND NEVER FOLLOWS THROUGH. JUST PATHETIC AND STRESSFUL. OVERALL INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE AND WISH I NEVER WORKED WITH THEM.LegalZoom

1 star**************** is absolutely horrible. I would not use legal zoom ever again. I have been on hold approaching 45 minutes just speak to a human. I cancelled registered agent service last year and turned off auto renew and they auto charged anyway.Ive written a review on every single platform I can find waiting to talk to someone.LegalZoom

1 starThe customer service is awful. They have no concept of basic things like how a fax machine works. I paid a fee to have them send me instructions on how to file forms myself. The service is the lowest quality. I would not recommend to any business, big or smallLegalZoom

1 starCharged for a registerd agent since 2019. The agent that is NON-Existening, the address provided for this so called agent was some random communication business that has no links to being a registered agent. I have been charged for these registered agent fees since 2019 Now as of 8/26/25 it was $499. No notice of any kind. Legal Zoom is a fraudulent company working shady business deals. Check out your credit card statements regularly. I have had to fil emy report every year because this registerd agent does not file it and I get warning notices from the state.LegalZoom

1 starI attempted to use the *** free EIN filing online however I received an error. When trying to apply via fax, I went weeks without hearing back and instead of waiting to do the paperwork via snail mail, I figured I would use legalzoom's services. First red flag, they charged me $10 just for shipping? Not even sure what they were shipping. Then a few hours later I received an email that SURPRISE SURPRISE they got the same error on the *** site, but don't worry they filled out the form that I already filled out and all I had to do was fax and mail. I figured they would refund me since they did not get me my EIN however, they told me they completed the order and did their part so they were not going to refund me the $80. Their website clearly states: "If your order requires us to submit your documents to a government agency, you can chat or call us to request a refund within 60 days of purchase so long as your order hasn't been submitted to the agency." They did NOT submit to the agency (***) clearly since they are asking me to submit it, yet won't stand by their guarantee online. Complete scam. Do not use them for anything, ever.LegalZoom

1 starI used Legal Zoom in 2022 to open an ************* which was dissolved and have been charged for a registered agent that is NON-Existent, the address provided for this so called agent was some random communication business that has no links to being a registered agent. I have been charged for these registered agent fees since 2022 of $299 three times and now as of 9/7/25 it was $499 and the business is already dissolved. Legal Zoom is a fraudulent company working shady business deals. Check out your credit card statements regularly, as I am now disputing this with my credit card company and changing the account number to prevent them from getting my new card information, which they mysteriously got when I just ordered a new card three months ago! Never use this service again, go to a local lawyer or an accountant to get set up!LegalZoom
