    Delay...Delay...Delay.Deceitful practices about how long it is gonna take to send your computer. They start of with stages 1-5. Which is all BS, 3 weeks in and finally stage 3(which is basically they have a bin to put my computer parts into) Then the next day I get a stock video(******* over 500 views made before I ordered, no options to leave comments) sent to my e-mail saying there is a massive delay on parts specifically GPU, best estimate is early in the year orders will start shipping in April others start in May...blah...blah...blah.Then goes on and on about please don't cancel and lose your place in line, you won't regret it, etc. They knew of this delay before I ordered my computer. As a matter of fact it is their MO. So they took my money within seconds of the order but when I want a refund they say they charge a 5% surcharge and it will take at least 10 working days for them to issue refund.Anyways-long story short-got my refund in about 12 days, no 5% surcharge(I threatened to sue) and over the weekend ordered all parts online (******, Bestbuy,MSI, ******) got them all within about two weeks...watched a few ******* videos and put my dream computer together with GPU brand, custom cables, etc. for half the price and typing this review on it now. My digital storm order probably would of shipped 2 months from now!

    I would avoid this company to the best of your ability. Placed a premium order of $6,800 on March 8, 2025. Due to delays in graphic cards, outside the control of Digital Storm, was informed that at the earliest, my machine would be delivered in late May 2025 if not June 2025. On March 24, 2025, I requested that my order be cancelled, given the extreme delay and was told that to cancel the order I would be charged a 4.9% cancellation fee....on a system that was not even assembled and would likely not be delivered for an additional two months. It is in my opinion criminal to have the audacity to charge a cancellation fee on an order that hasn't even been fulfilled or assembled. It is definitely a scummy and greedy business practice. Would strongly recommend anyone looking to spend a premium to look elsewhere.

    Bought aventum x and had nothing but issues they wont make it right Ive bought a new cpu on my own and spent hours with there customer support and nothing has worked they will just keep having you try things until its out of warranty and **** make it right like a good buisness would.

    Bought a digital lynx from them last summer and computer would spontaneous crash and go to BIOS. sent the ** back for repairs and they sent it back with the exact same problem. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

    I ordered a pre built pc. got it, it worked for a week. then stopped working. digital storm then said i have to pay to ship it back to them to fix it. i so told them i want to return it, and still have to pay for shipping. they never sent me my new box to ship it back waited over a month. called back ( the whole time im making payments on the computer ) and they admitted to never sending the box and would get another one on its way, now its been almost two months, ive been making payments on a product that failed soon after receiving it, and am still being forced to pay for shipping it back to said company. So by the end of all this i got a product that was faulty and digital storm gets a few hundred bucks from me. wow.

    I see a few mixed reviews, but I bought an Aventum X (pretty much the standard model that's around 4 grand) in March of 2024 and it has been fantastic. Here's my honest feedback Pros -- Very Stable Machine - No crashes, no hardware issues out of box. -- Very ***************************** I had some special considerations in my order and they even called me and talked through it. Very good about getting back to me. -- Good Warranty and Upgrade Options -- Insanely Quiet Cons -- Ship Time (When they say 20 business days, they'll take every bit of that and a bit more). Be prepared to wait around a month. *************** The Aventum X's proprietary case design could use a few improvements. These include a hinged door to access one side of the ** (instead of a very heavy and awkward tempered glass pane you have to line up just so (2-person job basically) to re-adhere. Also, a port on the top of the tower to pour in liquid cooling so you're not unscrewing a tank in the middle of your case next to the video card, etc. would be genius. Also, due to shipping it can be VERY challenging getting the cap off the reservoir. You will almost definitely need the strap wrench provided. The Hot Swap bay drawers are a bit wonky - they're fine, but you have to line up the "sleeves" for the hard drives, and it could be easier (like a snap in version I've seen on other hot swaps). Finally, some wheels for this bad boy or a rolling stand offered as an optional add-on would be GREAT. We ended up building a rolling stand. So in the end, if you're on the fence - don't be. Its a good machine, good warranty, great support, and an absolute beast. Just be prepared for the sheer size of it.

    I will never buy a computer from them again. I paid over $3000 for a new desktop about 2 years ago. It took about 4 months to get delivered. I have had many issues with this computer. Today my wifi card has stopped working and I am sending this from my phone. I am just going to go back to ***** At least I can get around 5 years out of their mschines.

    I am not a recent purchaser..I picked my lumos up a few years ago . I had so many issues getting pc to finnaly arrive... 3 months late.....after that everything was fine..I planned to never do biz with them again but the pc did work...here i am a couple years later looking at settings and learning that the extra charge i paid for them to overclock the 9700k to 4.7 ghz never happened because it didnt need it.. it will run on turbo mode at 4.7 out of the box. The charged me extra for something it already could do . And then swore in paperwork it had been done. Thats fraud. Pure and simple. In four years I have replaced a dead rtx2070..the power supply died twice..replaced with same only to find they sold the kit underpowered for a 2070...(1)8gb corsair vengence died....and the tower itself was a scam...the buy them with led capable fans buoltnin..remove.them...put in basics..and then charge you an upgrade fee.if you want the led fans that were oe to the case. The only bonus is i learned all about how to build a pc figuring out theres...never again . Scam company who absolutely commits fraud.

    If I could warn everyone not to purchase from this scam of a company I would. I spent over *****USD on a custom loop PC from digital storm in May of 2022 and instantly was having issued with cooling on the system. I followed their instructions and had the cooling to a manageable temperature with intermittent crashes from time to time. I continued to deal with crashes from CPU over temperature issues. I also started having intermittent shut downs occur, which could also not be diagnosed remotely. So I sent the computer in for RMA in March of 2023, it was shipped back to me with both problems "fixed" on April 6th 2023. I received the computer from them with it missing the coolant drain hose as well as the power cord. After those were received and the computer was functioning I had the same issues still occurring. I emailed them on April 17th notifying them that the issues still happen and have been emailing with them since then trying to get it repaired. Apparently I am no longer covered under the parts warranty so I now have to take the cost of shipping which is around 200USD out of my own wallet. I was even recommended to look into a local shop to fix the issue, so they take your money, deliver problems, and then say its out of warranty so its not their issue anymore. That is unacceptable. I had the issue since I received the computer and have been actively working with them to get it repaired. They claimed they fixed the computer, but it has had the same issues I had since day one. Now it's out of warranty, it wasn't when I started having issues. Once again, DO NOT BUY.
