I purchased a solar panel from American Stream Solar on 8/21/2020. I have tried for the last year to contact them by email and phone but no success of being able to talk with someone to repair my solar panel. Also, I have even reached out to the finance company to see if they could contact them but no success ther either. I have been paying ****** faithfully and on time and I have not been able to receive no reserve from the Solar panel. I cannot get in touch with anyone from this company to fix the issue with the panels.Initial Complaint

I have asked to get my solar panels connected to the mysolaredge app that shows the status of my panels. I lost connection to it sometime in May of this year. I have been BEGGING American Stream Solar since not long after that to get me reconnected because I have no clue if one or more are damaged. I know some of them work, but there could be some that don't. I sent them all the pictures they asked for, I had my internet company connect an ethernet cord from the box to my router, but I am still unable to view the status. The company said they sent someone out, and I talked to them on the phone and he said that I needed approximately $1800 worth of parts to fix them, but that American Stream Solar has yet to pay for the parts. That was about 2 months ago, and still nothing. Also, when I tried reaching American Stream Solar recently, Their support team email I have is no longer active, and when you call all you can do is leave a voice mail. They have never returned my calls all through this period!. I'm telling everyone this so they know not to trust them with their "fantastic" lifetime warranty, because they don't follow through on their promises.Initial Complaint

In March of 2021 we had a tornado in ********, ** this company was called because the solar panels were damaged someone came to the property at 9pm. Purchased solar panels from American Stream Solar. Worked good until we changed WIFI providers. Have not received solar credit through our electric company since November of 22. Have written letters and called the company. The only response I received was an invoice for two thousand dollars to fix the problem. I do not think this is a viable solutionInitial Complaint

We paid $1,000.00 to start the project on 9/29/22. We made an additional payment $7,350.00 on Deceember 28, 2022. We received the email on July 6, 2023 that the project was being canceled and a refund sent. We have never received the refund and each attempt to contact them has failed. The support team at American Stream Solar is extremely unresponsive. It was bad in the beginning, but it has gotten so bad that they simply do not respond to any email despite multiple attempts. There's no longer any phone support. I have had multiple issues with my solar system:1) The system was no longer producing the output and I was incurring power bills from PG&E for up to $300 / month from April until July. 2) The inverter they had installed had a bad cell card.3) I was then sent an invoice by American Stream Solar for $576 to pay for the installation of a new inverter. 4) Ever since then my solaredge app was not updating with the latest production #s.
