    I purchased the Luka **** specifically for a trip after reading Calpaks claim that it fits under most airline seats. That claim turned out to be misleading. I traveled on both American and United, and in neither case did the bag fit under the seat which resulted in over $100 in extra airline fees and the inconvenience of having to purchase another bag at the airport.I reached out to Calpak expecting they would stand behind their product, only to receive a canned response citing airline variability and their rigid 30-day return policy. While I understand seat sizes vary, if youre marketing a product for a specific use case underseat travel you should either guarantee it works or be transparent about the limitations. Their unwillingness to take responsibility or offer even a partial refund after such a negative experience is disappointing.I would not recommend this bag if you plan to use it as an underseat item and I wouldnt count on Calpak for customer support if things dont work out.

    This company markets their products as top quality and charges $115 for a backpack that doesnt last a full year. I purchased the 15 **** backpack January 2024 after maternity leave ended to go back to work with a quality backpack after using an Amazon backpack (which lasted longer than this Calpak) by September 2024 the strap was ripping at the seam. I filed a warranty claim, it was accepted due to defective sewing, I sent the old one back at my expense so that I could keep the warranty. I received the new bag October 2024. Here we are, not even a year into having the replacement bag the strap has ripped again at the same exact seam. I contacted Calpak and they say they cant do anything because the warranty expired in January. Their customer service is no help, they dont stand by their product especially when they are defective, overall they are selling low quality products and marketing as higher end. I will never purchase from them again.

    I thought Calpak was a higher end brand so I invested in their products. Within a year of purchasing the **** size 15 backpack, I started to notice fraying on the top handle. It started to get worse and I reached out to have it repaired. They stated the warranty was only for a YEAR and there was nothing they could do. I think the fraying on the handle and bag arm is from poor craftsmanship. They make you think theyre a better brand but they are cheaper quality than ShAmazon backpacks. I am warning everyone they are a scam and sell cheap products.

    ******** customer service. Their policy is 1-4 days for processing so I reached out day 5 to check on my order status. Day 6 I was notified that they canceled my order because they did not have the color I ordered. No other communication or discussion of how to resolve the issue. I did not get a chance to select another color and the communication took 6 (business) days to tell me that they had no stock? Ridiculous. Do not buy from this company unless you're ready for terrible customer service from **** and the team.

    I ordered during their Labor Day Sale. They kept advertising Final Sale Price to soon! I had ordered the incorrect color and emailed within 5 minutes! I received a message that I would have to return the bag after receiving. The bag arrived with lumpy fabric on the front and a messed up handle. I went in to return and the message said it was nonreturnable!! This was not only false advertising but no one should be made to keep an inferior defective product!

    This company gives a 30 day return window. Even if there is an issue with their products they require the consumer to pay to send the damaged item back and if they arent able to fix it they will replace it. However, the new item will not come with a new 30 day return window nor an updated warranty window. I believe not all of their products are made well and they are aware of the issues but arent willing to refund consumers.

    Buyer beware! Ive been traveling for decades. Ive used high end and lower end suitcases. But never in all my life have I had the issues Ive had with Calpak. I bought 6 suitcases and within a year the shell on one broke and after 2 trips the handle on another broke. For an allegedly mid to high end product this is subpar. I reached out to customer service with timestamps but without my original receipt they refuse to assist. They also make registering your product extremely difficult after purchase. I wouldnt accuse them not genuinely not wanting to honor their quality promise - its just that their actions show poor customer service and an unwillingness to help. Truly disappointing. Please stick to Away, *****, *********, Desley, Travel Pro - anyone else.

    I posted a 3-star review after a suitcase I purchased and the same one I received on warranty both had the same issue with a wheel breaking. After two weeks, I noticed that my review had still not been posted despite more positive 5-star reviews being published. I contacted Calpak and they told me that because I had already been in touch with their warranty team they had marked my review as "pending" and asked if I'd still liked it published (which was confusing language and indicated to me that they never intended to publish the negative review). I specifically mentioned the warranty suitcase also having the same issue in my review, which makes this reasoning confusing. When I indicated I did want the review published, they published it without the original photo I had attached showing the broken wheel on one of the suitcases. I believe this was intentional as the site prioritizes reviews that include photos and videos, which would have made my review more visible to site visitors. I believe they not only chose not to include my negative review but also buried it when they finally did post it by not including the image it originally came with. This feels incredibly shady and leads me to believe they are only posting positive reviews on their site.

    False Advertising - I found their Large Cosmetic Bag on ****** advertised at $76 but when clicking on the item I am brought to the CALPak website with a product price of $95. After contacting the company to inquire on the difference and ask how to obtain the advertised price, I was told their 3rd party vendor takes a while to catch up to their change in price. It didnt matter how much I explained this to be false advertising they still insisted the problem is with ****** and took no accountability to care for the customer. They continued to reply that they can not price adjust because their sale had ended- even though the product was still advertised for many days at the lower price and it was ok for them to charge the higher price because that is what was on their website- it was all ******s fault.

    On the website they make it impossible for you to return an item. Once you put in the order number it continuously prompts you to exchange as opposed to return. I had to contact customer service and I'm still waiting on them to contact me back. And as per the return agreement you have 30 days so I'm assuming they won't get in touch with me in time.
