I believe that the business known as OC Auot Exchange sold me a lemon at above market price. I spent 32k to get the car only to start having problems not even a week after which leads me to the problem ** having now not even after a whole year. Recently my car has begun to undergo problems within the engine but since the warranty was already used by a previous owner, They are trying to inform me that I may have to come out of pocket. So currently my vehicle is at the dealership and upon further inspection they are suggesting an engine replacement. I strongly believe that OC Auto Exchange sold me a lemon and just wanted to use me for their personal financial gain.

October 1st 2023 I went and purchased my first financed vehicle to build my auto loan history. I thought "why not do it in style" and purchased what I THOUGHT was a STOCK 5.0 Mustang with 8X,*** miles. I test drove it, and I took it relatively slow because obviously I didnt wanna crash and be a stereotype.Didnt notice anything wrong driving it normally. On the drive home, I noticed 4th gear was kind of rough. Then the next day, I went a little faster, only to discover that something was really wrong with the clutch/transmission. All the gears stick & the brakes dont work during high RPMs, which is NOT normal. Bad signs. Then the brakes started scratching, the rear pads were gone. After driving it for a week to see if anything changed, I contacted the dealership requesting an inspection. They said yeah well take a look, just drive to OUR trusted shop 80 miles away from you and itll only take a few hours to inspect it. No chance of a closer shop either. So i drive down there and they say itll take a week just for the diagnostic. I cant do that since i bought the car for work. So i just dealt with it. Did a few repairs myself. Expensive. The Clutch pedal was broken causing most of my transmission issues so i replaced that for $400 and the brakes another $200 because the rear rotors were messed up bad. Come to find out, theres a Plaque in the glove box, with the previous owners name and BAMA on it. Oh no, BAMA is a tuner. I emailed them with the info on the Plaque and they told me the vehicle had been TUNED with all kinds of aftermarket modifications. That means this car has been raced hard which would explain the messed up transmission, clutch, brakes, axles, diff, and modified exhaust. Today, my 4th gear synchros finally gave up after a year. Infinite grinding.I want to know if the dealership knew about the modifications, and why they sold it without fixing these obvious problems. I also want to know why they accepted such a bad paint job. Its really bad.

They sold me a vehicle that had no service engine light. After purchase im on my way home 70 miles away and the service engine light came on. So i had to go back and fourth with them until finally they took the car in and took about a month or two going in and out of the mechanical shop. At the end they supposedly fixed the car but didnt want to give me any service records, told me the car was mine and they werent going to do anything else. So i have been stuck with the car trying to fix it since then. I gave them $3,000 as a downpayment and i have been making $311 car payments since, along with the expenses of trying to fix the car they sold it to me.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS!! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!** I bought my car a year and a half ago and since the beginning I had issues with the transmission and other things like the back of camera and none of the steering wheel features worked so they kept my car for a week and never fixed it even though it was in writing that they would fix it. They did nothing to the transmission but what they did do is solder my fuses together which cut out the safety and due to that my car has shut off on the freeway three times going at the speed limit and luckily I was able to get over safely. Instead of fixing the backup camera that the car came with they put a license plate frame with a camera on it so my car has two cameras which looks ridiculous. I took it back for the transmission twice and it was never fixed and now it's out completely and will cost me over ***** to fix. I called and finally got a hold of a manager and said that I could trade my car back in and transferred me to one of the salesman and they asked me how much down could I put when I originally already gave them **** down and then on top of that they wanted to run my credit to see if I would be approved! They could care less about their customers and their safety. They also did not tell me that the car had a blown head gasket prior to me and also that the car had frame damage which I had no idea because it's not on my Carfax so they altered it. They are liars and they are crooks and overall they're just a big joke and should not be able to do business! This business needs to be investigated and shut down before someone else is stuck paying for a car that they cannot drive!! They also called me financed through ****************** which over a year ago they repossessed when my car was only a couple days late and they took my car a couple days before Thanksgiving with my groceries inside of it and I've been offering it back to them but now that it has transmission failure they don't want to pick it up

I purchased a vehicle from oc auto. They mislead and lied entirely about the nature of the vehicle. They stated that this vehicle was in good working order and undergoes inspections before selling. They also stated the vehicle had a good standing warranty. It had ***** miles and was within the ***** *** warranty. The stated the car still had eligible warranty. They also stated they put tires onto the vehicle. That the tires has at least a year or more of wear. They also stated there were no damages on the vehicle itself. Within a month of owning the vehicle. The steering began to shake knock when driving. I took the car to *** *********. They did a full inspection. The knock was from the springs not being in place correctly. *** stated the springs were not installed properly and the car was not in a safe condition. They stated it was not covered under warranty as it was not installed or fixed by them. *** also states the tires were extremely worn. This is hard to tell by a consumer as they are run flats. Not easy to spot run flat tire wear vs normal traditional tires. And that the tires has only a few months left of normal wear. They also noted in the inspections that the rear differential was damaged. I paid to fix the tire and springs which cost 3700$. Out of pocket. The rear differential would be 6000$ to fix. I cant afford that. Also I then called and emailed the business. They sent a car fax saying we said it had the warranty and I told them *** denied coverage. Told them they need to show me proof of their own inspection. The business would re direct and not answer my calls. They also stopped emailing me or responding back to me. They falsely mislead and flat out lied about the vehicle condition. They also sold me a car that was not safe to be driving. And confirmed everything was in good working order and in warranty. None of that was true. And now Im out thousands of dollars.

On 12/07/2021 I purchased a Dodge Durango from OC auto exchange. I put down $1000 and was assured that the vehicle was accident free and had a clean car fax. After finally getting my vehicle 2 weeks later my check engine light came on. I contacted ****** to let him know. I was told to bring it down to the dealership, once they did their tests I was told it was a sensor and they would fix it. About a week or so I was able to pick my truck up, I was told if anything else popped up to let them know and they would fix it. Not even 2 or 3 weeks later the light came back on, I contacted ****** to let him know, then I was told to contact my warranty policy that I purchased through the dealer. Once I did all that and took it down to a dodge dealership I had to get my transmission replaced. After a month of having a new transmission my engine light continued to come on then I contacted the dodge dealership that I had went to and they checked to see if it was the same issue. Once they ran their tests it came back that there was something wrong with my sensor and it would need to be replaced. The warranty policy that I purchased does not fix electrical problems, so I then contacted OC auto exchange to provide me the receipt of them fixing what they said they had fixed. I was then told by *** that they dont carry receipts at their location and only corporate would have them and he would get in contact with them.. a week past and I called back to follow up on the receipts then I was told that I would need to contact their main office which is ************************ located in ************.. I spoke to **** who was extremely rude and told me that they dont carry receipts for any location and told me to contact ***. When I called back to speak to *** he was not available. ****** stated that because they dont work with the mechanic they could not provide me the receipts, They failed to provide me the receipts. (They sold me a lemon)

I purchased a 2013 ********** Passat SE from OC Auto Exchange in 2018 for approximately $12,000. My dad and I were sat down with a salesman to talk about the vehicle. We were told directly that the vehicle had no issues and had no prior serious accidents or structural damage. We were also presented with a Carfax report showing no structural damage or accidents. In 2022 I brought this car in for an appraisal by a VW dealer and was shocked to learn the car had indeed been in an accident causing structural damage. They would offer me nothing but scrap price of ~ $500 for the vehicle, though the current market price for this model of this age and condition is somewhere between $10,000 - $10,500. This damage was revealed to OC Auto Exchange two months before it was sold to me. I believe they had knowledge of this damage, as the Carfax report says it was disclosed to the buyer (OC Auto Exchange) before they sold me the vehicle. Years later, I discover my car is almost valueless and that my dad and I were lied to in a face to face conversation with an OC Auto Exchange representative. This dishonesty now costs me over $10,000 today.
