    BEWARE!!! These guys will prey on your misfortunes. I was assigned to these guys through my insurance provider after I broke down on the 5 Freeway. My Insurance provider told me that KO would arrive between ***** minutes and that I had to pay a differential because I exceeded the mileage on my policy. I agreed to pay and then proceeded to wait for tow to get to me. After about 30 minutes, I got a call from *** from KO telling me that if I did not pay them directly (He started off at $450 and lowered to $300), they were not going to pick me up, because "I was outside the service area". I let him know that I was going to call my insurance provider to see why he was charging me more money and he told me that my insurance provider was going to cancel the order, get me another tow company and I was going to have the same issue. Basically, he used scare tactics to get me to pay the extra money. Now... My situation was either pay and get picked up or get cancelled, continue to wait in the rain, find another tow company and be late to pick up my kids. After speaking to my insurance company, they said that what ** did was wrong and that they will "reprimand" them, but I wanted to make sure that I let everyone know that these guys will try to take advantage of you so BEWARE!!!
