  I am the neighbor. I hired Maldonado Brothers Tree Service, paid 100% of the tree removal cost, and had the consent of the neighbor (Tim R.) before scheduling the service.
  The company was prompt, accurate, and easy to work with. The crew was professional, polite, attentive to detail, and fast. The accurate skill they exhibited to take down a a very large oak tree that hovered over 2 homes was amazing to watch.
  The crew left the area clean. I cannot attest to the stump since it was impossible to work with the neighbor to complete the task. We spent over 10 days working on a resolution before I gave up.
  After many communiction attempts to agree on conditions for stump removal, no resolution was found that satisfied the Tim R. Tim R did not accept any suggestion and provided no reasonable offers. No compromise was in sight.
  As for the synthetic lawn, here is my take. The lawn is 15-18 yrs old & in a space about 14' x 16'. It was installed against the tree trunk, not around like typically done. The tree and synthetic lawn had merged together around the base. The lawn had to be removed from the trunk. (BTW the neighbor was given 4 weeks notice of the scheduled date and he could have removed the lawn prior to the date scheduled.) The lawn was not ripped to shreds; it was removed from the trunk of the tree to allow the 811 crew to lay out potential hazards before the tree's stump was removed.
  It is also my understanding that the owner of Maldonado Brothers Tree service offered to lay a new synthetic lawn in that small space between our driveways once the stump was removed. However, my neighbor insisted that the lawn needed to match not only the other side of his front lawn, but his backyard. The company spent way more time trying to satisfy the neighbor than I expected since I was paying the entire bill of the tree removal.

  If I could give them less than one star, I would. My neighbor hired this company to remove a tree and a tree ***** from shared property in between my house and my neighbors house. During the process this company cut up my synthetic lawn without getting my permission, or even notifying me that they had to cut the lawn at all. They Cut my synthetic lawn into strips, rather than what was needed, which was cutting around the tree ***** and removing the rest of the synthetic lawn to preserve it. They sliced it into strips and then when we confronted the business about it, the owner of the business not only yelled at my wife, but he started cursing at me and told me to go **** ****** and to go ahead and sue him. These are not arborists or lawn care professionals, these are gangsters with chainsaws. So, my next obvious step is to consult a lawyer and then sue them in small claims court.
