    Seems I've fallen victim to the same tactics experienced by others, i.e., The Bee trying to collect monies they are not entitled to. I cancelled my subscription April, 2023., yet they keep billing me . My letter to their Fresno office complaining about their tactics only resulted in their referring the case to a collection agency. I've told them to either provide proof that I renewed my subscription or I will consider any additional efforts by them to constitute harassment and I will file a complaint with the Federal Trade commission. Perhaps others with same problem may want to consider similar action.

    Stay away from the Fresno Bee and do not do business with this company. The Fresno Bee is borderline scamming people out of their money (They tried to do it with me):
    1) They will automatically convert you to a paid subscription if you accept their free trials or specials.
    2) They do not process your subscription cancellation requests promptly. I had to call 5 or 6 times to get my subscription cancelled. Each time I called they confirmed with me that my subscription was cancelled. However, they wouldn't cancel my subscription. They would just continue sending the newspaper and billing me more and more money.
    3) It is exceedingly difficult to talk to their customer service to resolve any of these issues because of language barriers.
    Overall, it was a nightmare to try to cancel the subscription and stop the billing.

    We have been subscribing to Fresno Bee for 60 plus years. When old lady M******** ran it you could count on it. After son took over the Bee went to hell in a hand basket. From a honest straight-shooting newspaper to a left-wing socialist piece of garbage. They are out to hit your credit card, bank account and whatever else they can screw dollars out of you for. Sad that the Bee and writer editorial board thinks they have all the answers for Fresno and the Valley DG Marshall
