In May, 2023 I performed a ****** Search seeking an investment opportunity that would appear to be a safe source to invest an inheritance. I chose Ampez Rehab Investments LLC. I did a BBB Check for standings with no complaints over numerous years and great reviews. I also saw a favorable **** and Bradstreet listing for this business. Upon contacting the business, I spoke with a ******* ******** who gave me an overview of the business operations and the rehab her demand for affordable housing in the ********* area he operates. I shared with him the a brother and wanted to consider investing an inheritance in the form of an *** and ************** proceeds based on 14% interested compounded annually. The earned interest he explained could be deposited into my personal bank account monthly or reinvested options. I chose the reinvested option. I completed several transfers to his directed bank account several time totaling a significant amount by wire transfer. As time passed, the monthly reinvestment statements were sent via email were sent by email although sometimes erratically and few times by inquiry. The contract agreement stated the first day of the month! Any communications with Ampez Rehab Investments LLC was only through ********. As listed on the BBB website, he seem to be operating as sole proprietor protected by an LLC. Recently doing a status report check on this business, A posting by a California court on this business led me to request numerous time by phone.requesting a call back concerning the status of me and my spouse held with his business. Upon connecting what seem to an answering service, requests were left for ******* to call back immediately!! To date, no call back nor July statement on account account status. I'm A senior citizen - permanently and totally disabled veteran living on a fixed income!!

On 4/2/25 Ampez Investors received an email stating their bank was unable to send March payments. Finally about March 20 the payment came. Same thing for the next month for the March payments due April 1st. From then on the May and **** payments ceased to come. I sent them several emails asking why they ceased paying with no response. I then emailed them asking to send to my home address $153,500 owed to me. The last email I sent to them email was on 6/18 saying that if nothing else they at least owe me a reply. No reply came. Interspersed in my emails was my discovery that they were being sued by the state of California for improper advertising. My May 31 email: I have come across the following documents from the State of **********:************************************************************************************************************************************************* which is the lawsuit against Ampez Rehab Investments ie. ****** ********. So it appears that the reason for non-payment of the May payments had nothing to do with your bank. It appears that the suit is in regard to your allowing non-accredited Investors to invest in your company; which is precisely one of the reasons why I chose to Invest with you. My purpose of this email is to put in writing my request that you immediately return my $150,000 dollar Investment plus the May and **** interest payments of $1750 each totaling $153,500.00. Please send a certified check to me at the following address. THANK YO

It has been extremely frustrating to deal with you about the four funds and May interest. It is almost the end of May and I still haven't received May interest,You have sent continuous updates via text messages since November for these funds and if you give me an email address, I can email you the file (larger than 5 NB).I have looked at the promissory note that I have signed with you and there is no mention of exactly when the 90 to 120 day time period starts. I have starting the conversation about withdrawing the Traditional *** in November and the Personal Funds 1 in December. The five month period has already passed for these two funds. You have sent so many updates that these two funds will be deposited and so far they are still not deposited. You need to release these two funds to me immediately whether they have closed or not since you also have general funds available that can be used for this purpose. You have also updated me on the other two personal funds that it would be closed by middle of May, but this did not happen.I am very angry about this especially when I came to ****** and requested to make an appointment to see you to discuss the situation and you chose not to do so. I have attached a pdf file in this email through ****** Drive with 257 pages of text messages starting from November to now.I want to inform you that I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) today. I want a quick and fast resolution to the issue and I am sick of all the delays that have been continually happening since November. If I don't have a quick and fast resolution to this matter, I will write a negative review about my experience with Ampez Rehab Investments and you in the Better Business Bureau website.I am also going to send this email and the 257 page pdf file as a certified mail to your office at ******, ***********I look forward to a quick and efficient resolution in which I get my funds back from you as soon as possible.
