2 starsVideo "Sale" doesn't clearly state that the solar panels talked about in the Jackery 5000 are Not included. I thought it was a package. Now, after thousands of $$$$$, I reached out to customer service, and they won't honor the original sale on the panels, because the box wasn't opened until getting ready to install (pass 30 days). As a recently widowed senior woman, I find this totally unacceptable. I thought the solar panels you could buy, was for "additional panels". I am not unintelligent by any means and found it to be misleading. It's advertised with 4 panels. Now, I must pay $800 each plus (10% off) and was 'graciously given an additional 7%! for the misunderstanding. Wow, just Wow. Please make sure what you are actually getting, for the money.Jackery Power Outdoors

Hi *******,Sorry if there was any miscommunication from when you purchased your 5000 Plus. If you're unhappy with the purchase, please reach out to ****************************** and they can assist you with a return if you'd like. The items we sell are sold as individual units or bundles. it sounds like you purchased just a unit when you wanted a bundle instead. Please let us know via email so we can try to make it right.Review fromJames H

1 starGood product (Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus solar generator). But a high PV port plug soon broke--poor design. To their credit, Jackery offered a warranty replacement, but in 2 months of ************* Jackery has not provided the proper packaging or shipping label to actually return the item; in other words, a worthless warranty. Do Not Buy From Jackery.Review fromKatie H

1 starAbsolutely terrible customer service and a bad product. We got an 880 Wh battery that didn't charge. That's a bad start for a company whose business model is built on the product being reliable. We submitted a warranty claim for a replacement unit. We sent the battery back to Jackery. We had moved since the original purchase, so I confirmed multiple times with Jackery customer service that our new address would be used for the replacement. Jackery confirmed that the new address would be used. This turned out NOT to be the case, and it was sent to the old address. ***** repeatedly attempted delivery to the wrong address. Jackery has restrictions on the shipment so that only they can change the address. I tried correcting this with Jackery for 2 full weeks, and the customer service representative were not helpful and were rude. I don't ever want to deal with them again, so I asked if it could just get returned and refunded, since I leave for my travels to ****** in a week (during which I'd hoped to use the Jackery) and I won't have a shipping address for another month. Plus I don't want a product that I can't trust to work when it should.I work professionally in lithium ion batteries, so I do understand that it can be a difficult technology to execute well. But it doesn't need to be. I'm super disappointed in Jackery's product AND customer service, and doubly bummed because it will make the general public not trust this technology.Review fromSteven G

1 starReceived a factory defect jackery 100 plus in the mail. Amazon told me I needed to contact Jackery for the exchange. I’ve had a back and forth with 3 different people from Jackery and 2 of them tried to force me to use my warranty for my brand new device. The 3rd apologized saying that I could exchange through them for a new product but never actually helped me. Just kept telling me sorry. Effectively, my only option was other return for a refund or accept a refurbished.
This is not my first major issue I’ve had with them. Last year my explorer 300’s usb c port died. They replaced it no problem with a refurbished. The inverter on the refurbished died during the first power outage we had. I contacted the company and they told me that their refurbished products do not have a warranty. So I ended up purchasing a new one. I brought this up to the person I spoke to about my current problem and they told me they actually do have a warranty on refurbished. So effectively, the company lied to me and took more of my money.
Every issue can be summarized is when they mess up, they will either not stand by the product, or pass blame. The last person I spoke with kept saying “my other colleagues” instead of “us”. Never truly admitting Jackery is to blame for their own. Which is consistent with the other reviews here. A simple exchange has lasted Nov 23rd and it only ended cause I returned it for money and bought a different company’s generator.Review fromJo M

1 starI purchased a Jackery 300 Plus ************************** $321.74. Upon receiving the item on September 14th, the power station does not turn on. I tried everything wall charging and solar charging and nothing worked. I reached them via email and sent all proof that the power station does NOT power on. They provided me with the return label and returned everything. I ask for a refund within 3 days of returning the item because I needed the power station does immediately. They got back to me as said, the refund will be issued within 2-3 days. After a day another person email and said, they could not refund me yet because they have to verify in the warehouse another email said that they are going to refund me 3-5 days. They also send me to cancel charge back but its a trick because is the amount was not the same amount I paid for. I brought this up that they have the wrong amount and said they will refund **** finally called my credit card to file a dispute. 3 months after the dispute failed. I called my credit card and ask what had happened and why they didnt won the dispute. According to Jackery, Jackery does not necessarily need to refund me because the item was is good condition, I dont even have the power station anymore as I returned it on September 16th and was delivered in the warehouse at *******, **. I feel robbed by Jackery!Review fromDoug N

1 starPurchased a 1500 solar power station in May 2024. They advertise their units as operating under temperatures of 114 degrees. I find them start to overheat around 90 degrees. Customer support gives you the runaround and blames you. False advertisement on use ability of their product.Review fromGreg J

2 starsI know policies are policies but most businesses have exceptions. I purchased a Jackery in July and the trip I was planning on using it on got canceled very last minute. I simply asked to possibly return it even though it was past the 30 day money back guarantee (which 30 days isnt very long at all). I was given a very short message basically saying no its passed the window. I just think good customer service would allow some exceptions especially when only used for a short time just to make sure it worked. RegretReview fromAimee H

1 starI ordered my jackery 1000v2 6/10/24 and I received fed ex tracking number however everyday between purchase date and 6/15/24 that I checked the shipping it was still sitting in walnut CA so I contacted jackery and they had no answers for me as to why but they said if the shipping status didn't change within 24 hours to call back and they'd send out another one. 24 hrs goes by still no change with shipping so I send another email saying nothings changed. I get a response in the morning that my shipping indeed had changed. I felt some relief even though I thought it was odd that the product had made its way to **************** and I'm in AZ but I wasn't going to complain because at this point it's been 10 days since my purchase. I just was happy it was on the way. On Friday 6/21/24 my package makes it to ******* AZ and I was so excited because it's almost here....I'm in *********, and then I get a notification from fed ex stating my package is being sent back to the seller DUE TO THE SELLER INTERCEPTING THE PACKAGE. So now it is Sunday 6/23/24 and my package is back in ********** and I've had no response from the company since Friday. This incompetent company has spent 2 weeks doing nothing but s******* me around. This was a very expensive purchase for FATHERS DAY and I can't even GET the product delivered. What kind of company contacts the fed ex carrier and has the purchase turned around once it's almost made it to the buyer? THEY MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT PUT MY MONEY BACK IN MY BANK ACCOUNT when they decided to interrupt the shipping. I want this situation rectified immediately. EITHER SEND MY JACKERY OR GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!*************************Jackery Power Outdoors

Hi *****, so very sorry for the trouble you've had to deal with throughout this shipping process. It looks like ***** accidentally took it to ** and during that time, since there weren't any timely updates on the tracking page, we recalled the package so we can reship. I'm very sorry that you had to deal with this. I promise to make it right as discussed with you earlier on the phone.Review fromRichard C

1 starChinese junk. Doesnt hold a charge. The screws in the panels fell out as I unpacked them. The 110volt charging port is too small to accept a female plug. Their customer service is useless.Review fromJason P

And when I messaged them, get no response for 4-5 days. Currently still waiting. I've got screen shots and the video.Jackery Power Outdoors
