      I ordered a gun belt and cartridge slide on 05/27/2024 from Old Trading Post, **** They charged my card 05/27/2024. I received the slide in a few weeks but no gun belt. After about 8 weeks I contacted them and always got the same basic reply itll ship in a week or two or so from both **** and **** (owners I think). They had a lot of excuses for not shipping it yet from really busy to a death in the family. This went on several times, I gave them the benefit of the doubt so this went on for several months. I finally asked for a refund, now there is radio silence, they won't return my phone messages or emails. If you call their number you'll just get a prompt to leave a message. BEWARE of Old Trading Post. I really don't know how they're still in business. Looks like I'm out $124.71.

      Poor quality. Slow shipping. One item from Feb still not shipped. Requested refund and he just keeps saying the checks in the mail. Buyer beware. Very poor customer service.

      I ordered a holster 2 Jun 2023 (order number *****) and paid in full. I was aware it would take **** weeks for delivery, considering it would be a custom piece.I contacted the company 10 Jul 2023 (5 weeks, 3 days) asking for an update, as I had not received any information regarding the holster (completion, shipping, etc). I was reminded of the shipping times, that it was a custom piece, etc, with emphasis on the shipping time (**** weeks).I contacted the company 20 Nov 2023, inquiring as to the status of my order. It has been 25 weeks since the order was initiated and paid for, and the shipping window has come and gone, twice. This is the reply I received: "Hi ******,Thanks for the inquiry we will have a status update or eta for you before we take off for Thanksgiving on Weds. We are sorry for the delay in your order but it's taken a bit longer to produce than we estimated.Thanks,OTP"I never received that "status update or eta". Nor have I received the holster I ordered. So, I can only surmise that the holster was never created.I have since sent an email stating I am canceling my order and requesting an immediate refund.

      I placed an order for deerskin gloves on 5/25/23 - the price beat every other site I had looked at. I followed up the following week to ask when they would be shipped and **** was very responsive. He said they didn't have the gloves I ordered in stock, so he upgraded me to a more expensive pair that was in stock, free of charge. Gloves were received on 6/5. Would order from Old Trading Post again in a heartbeat.

      DO NOT USE ************ doesnt actually have the products they are selling. Prepare to wait 6-8 weeks, then after bugging them for a while youll end up getting youre money back if youre lucky.

      Ordered a gun belt over a year ago, they took the money out of my account right away but never sent the belt. They kept giving me excuses about why it was taking so long. Finally after a year they agreed to refund my money and now they're not answering emails,etc.

      I was told my holster would take maximum 14 weeks to be shipped. It has been 17 weeks now. They responded to me 2 months ago but my 2 most recent inquiries have fallen on deaf ears. I will never do business with this company again. I hope to either receive my holster soon or I will attempt to get a refund. Bad experience.

      I placed an order for a left hand draw **** shoulder holster for a 7" K-Bar in April of 2022. In July I contacted **** and he told me that his factory in Africa waits until they get enough orders for a shipment, but my order was being processed for shipping. In August I contacted him again and was told it was held up in customs, I finally received it the end of Sept. It was wrong so I called **** and told him it was a right hand draw and was for a 10" knife, he said he was out of town for a family emergency and would be back in the office the following week. I have called and e-mailed several times since then and nobody responds, just a answering machine and I do leave messages. It is now the first of December and not a word from ****. I will never spend another cent at this place.

      I placed my order for a loop holster on May 12, 2022 and I still don't have it. The holster was plain without and tooling. I was told it would be 4 to 8 weeks for the holster to be completed and shipped. I was told 2 days ago that the holster was shipped and they will send me a tracking number. I received the tracking number however, the postal service is still waiting to receive the package. If you are planning on ordering from this business, all I can say is, order at your own risk and good luck in getting what you paid for.
