    I purchased a pillow from the cushion lab and saw their return policy stated they provide a full refund. The pillow is not at all as advertised or pictured and I inquired about returning it. The company replied stating that I would be charged $30 to return the pillow, which came in a box thats only 12 long and 2 lbs. I see in other complaints on the BBB that this is a flat fee theyre charging everyone regardless of their location. They should be transparent about return costs like other merchants. They are charging 1/3rd of the pillow cost in return fees and 3x more than the maximum of any other company. Additionally, theyre offering free returns on Amazon. By purchasing from the merchant directly, youll end up paying $30 more than anyone purchasing products on Amazon. This inconsistent return policy is extremely unprofessional and unfair. It also violates a 2023 FTC guideline:The ************************ commences a rulemaking to promulgate a trade regulation rule entitled Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees, which would prohibit unfair or deceptive practices relating to fees for goods or services, specifically, misrepresenting the total costs of goods and services by omitting mandatory fees from advertised prices and misrepresenting the nature and purpose of fees. The Commission finds these unfair or deceptive practices relating to fees to be prevalent based on prior enforcement, the comments it received in response to an advance notice of proposed rulemaking, and other information discussed in this proposal. The Commission now solicits written comment, data, and arguments concerning the utility and scope of the trade regulation rule proposed in this notice of proposed rulemaking to prevent the identified unfair or deceptive practices.

    Do not bother with this dishonest company. I purchased a pillow, however, I had problems with *** on receiving said item and *** sent it back sender. Not the companies fault but ***. However, I emailed the company and received no response, so I had to go through my bank to dispute the charge. No big deal, though. I figured I would just repurchase once I get my money bank. I left this as a comment on one of their ******** posts and not only did they delete my comment, but they blocked me from further viewing their page. And for what? I did not bash the company. That is insane. Needless to say, they lost a customer and anyone I know thinking of buying from company, I will inform them of their dishonest practices. I think doing something like that is sketchy, and decided I will no longer repurchase from the company. That was 3 strikes.
