I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the purchase of a 2017 *** X3 from Rock Honda in Fontana, **********, on March 13th, 2024. On the aforementioned date, I entered into a transaction with RZ, one of the sales representatives, wherein I provided a cash down payment of $1,500. It was mutually agreed upon that automatic payments would be scheduled to withdraw $500 from my account on March 29th, 2024, and April 12th, 2024, to complete the remaining down payments. Additionally, my first payment was scheduled for April 26th, 2024, as facilitated by financing through ****************** Services. However, I was subsequently informed that the financing arrangement had fallen through, despite the contractual agreement signed by myself and RZ, and beyond the initial 10-day period stipulated by California Law. Despite my repeated requests for details on where to send my first payment, both RZ and Skip (***********************), the sales manager, failed to provide the necessary information.Furthermore, Skip unilaterally canceled the scheduled automatic payments and resorted to coercive tactics, threatening repossession unless I signed a new contract, thereby violating our existing agreement. To my dismay, on April 20th, 2024, I discovered that my vehicle had been illegally repossessed. I was left stranded at 8 1/2 months pregnant. Despite contacting law enforcement, Rock Honda persisted in withholding my down payment of $1,500, and insisted that I sign a new contract to reclaim the vehicle. This egregious conduct has caused considerable emotional distress to myself and my family, including my unborn child, and has resulted in financial hardship. Moreover, the expenses incurred in retrieving our belongings from a vehicle for which I had already made a substantial down payment, yet hadn't even made the first payment, have only compounded our suffering. I demand the immediate return of either the vehicle or my down payment, in accordance with our contractual agreement.

On 11/22/23 I financed a vehicle from this business. I live out of state and the dealership told me that I all needed to register my vehicle in AZ was a one trip permit slip. On 11/25/23 I made the trip to ******* and stopped at the **** The mvd told me that they needed proof that I owned the vehicle and the title. None of the paperwork I had received from the dealership was enough. On 12/12/23 I contacted the dealership and spoke with ********. I was told that the paperwork I needed was going to be mailed to my home address and had been en route as of 12/06/23. So I waited until 12/18/23 I had a family member go to the dealership in person to get the physical paperwork. The dealership refused to give him any paperwork. They stated that it is against policy to give out this paperwork. I spoke with a manager and they said they couldnt do anything and only ******** could help me in that department. ******** contacted me and told me she could email me the paperwork. I took the paper she emailed to me to the *** on 12/19/23. They stated that the dealership normally automatically sends the title to the dmv of the buyers choice. The dealership never shared this info with me. I contacted Honda financial on 12/20/23 and explained that I needed the title to be sent to my dmv. They stated they needed the request form in order to send it. They asked me to email the form to them. I sent it 5 times and they never received it so they told me to fax it. I faxed it on 12/22/23 they didnt receive it. I called on 12/26/23 I was told it was sent to a local fax and the current representative didnt have access to it. I emailed it again on 12/26/23 and they told me they received it. They told me that it could take up to 3 weeks for it to be processed. How can I drive my car without it being registered and I have owned it now for almost 2 months? The dealer said buying out of state wouldnt be difficult. I wouldnt have purchased the car if I knew it would be the difficult

In October 2022, I bought a 2022 ****** Corolla from Rock Honda, Fontana and the battery keeps failing. About a week after purchasing the car, the battery failed and I had to get it replaced. I took the car to Rock Honda dealer and they said my car is under warranty now and I am being sent to a ****** dealer. The ****** dealership, without diagnostic, changed the battery and the battery was working until November 2023. I took my car to ********************* dealership in January **************************************************************** $190 which they could have done in November 2023, but rather the battery was just replaced without a diagnostic. My key fob also stopped working and I took it to two different locksmiths and they were not able to fix my key fob. They told me the car has electronic problem which is why I went to the ********************* Dealership. Now my car is out of a factory warranty and they want to charge me for a diagnostic. Based off this, I believe the car was sold to me with an electronic problem. The battery should last around 4 years and the battery was just replaced without a diagnostic when my car was still under warranty.

Almost 4 months ago I purchased a certified used vehicle from rock Honda in Fontana I paid cash $25,400 dollars I have had nothing but problems with it. I've been to the dealership more than a few times I've spoken with 2 managers about my issue I feel as if I was sold a bad car yesterday I had my car towed to ****** Honda in ********** **. By the roadside assistance offered to me from Honda. The tow truck driver severely damaged my vehicle as he unloaded it at the dealership. Now my car is broken and damaged I've tried to resource this problem but I'm getting nowhere with them I'd like a different car for the money I paid or four then to repair it this is not American and I'm an army veteran I deserve to be treated fairly.

We purchased a 2012 Honda Pilot from Rock Honda in Fontana on 11/22/2011 for $40,353. On 05/25/2016, we took our 2012 Pilot in because the paint was peeling on the roof; then the window, the door, the left panel, etc. They finally worked with Honda Motor Co. and agreed to have the paint fixed. We paid a $500 deductible, supposedly 10% of the cost of the repair, and the dealer paid $500. After the car was repaired by 1st Certified Collision, on 02/15/17 approximately, we received a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The car wasn't repaired properly and the paint began peeling again in 2022 but much worst this time. We took the car back to Rock Honda *************), with the Warranty, but Gary Suit (Service Director) advised us 1st Certified Collision Centers sold out and the new owners, Gerber Collision & Glass of the Boyd Group, won’t honor the warranty. We asked the dealer to honor the warranty as we went through them, not the auto body shop. They said Rock Honda sold the dealership and the new owners, Lithia Motors, won’t honor the warranty either.

We called Honda Motor Co. on 03/07/2023 and spoke with ******* (************). ******* said they honored a one-time goodwill repair already and we need to go back to the dealer and request a new claim be started for this paint problem even though it's the same paint issue. We took the car to Metro Honda and filed the new complaint. **** ********* called us back and said Honda Motor Co. responded they don't issue lifetime warranties and they won't honor it.

We took it to 2 repair shops and in their opinion the original repair shop, used by Rock Honda, masked off the car as opposed to removing the parts and they didn't prep the metal properly before the paint was applied. On 1 of the photos you can see where the paint bubbles up first, as it's separating from the metal, before it begins peeling.

I brought my car in for service 6/29 because when I drove 10 miles my gas tank was losing 30 miles a drive which was eating up my finances for gas. I figured I would have a rental so I originally booked with enterprise being quoted $316 for a week and a half. When I brought my car in I was told Honda does a rental service and I would could rent the car for the same timeframe for $280 so i went with Honda. On the 6th I came back to pick up my car no help was given for almost 45 minutes employees everywhere walked passed me. On two separate occasions I felt forced to keep and pay for the rental. All of this money I’m spending to be told nothing is wrong with my car. I spent $900 to drive away with the exact same issues

Rock Honda listed my car for sell on **********.com without my consent.

Long story short, I went to rock Honda to sell my car and they gave me a price of 13,500(6/9/23). They said they will honor it until 24hours. I have accepted their offer and went the next the day to sign the papers. Then they tell me they can only give me 10,000(6/10/23). Attached I have a screenshot with the text message from the seller saying they will honor it 24hours. I understand this isn't a contract but does not seem the correct way to do business. Because of this I lost another deal that had expired that day. They countered offer with 13,000 but thats not the price we agreed on. This morning Monday(6/2/23) I go to ********** to try to sell my car since the deal expired because they didn't honor their part and got an error saying my car was already listed. I have attached screen shots of my car being listed on ********** without my consent by Rock Honda. It does not help that I lost the other deal because of this.

I purchase the car 02/25/2023 and I was under the impression it was a good running car on 03/22/2023 I noticed that the car had no oil, I took it to the dealer and I was told to continue checking the oil and if it kept happening to bring it back. I took the car back to the dealer because I been having to add 1 quart of oil every other day and its costing me too much money. The reason why I purchased a car is because I needed a reliable car , and I expressed that to the sales person. I took the car back to the dealer on 05/13/23 and I was told that there was no one available to work on my car that the GM had left early and to take it back on 05/16/23 and I did take it then I was turned away and was told that they are not able to make any repairs to the car that I will have to take it to Kia . my issue here is that they sold me a bad car and now that they got the money and got paid they want no responsibility for the issues the car has. Kia is now telling me I have to pay to have the car checked and I don't have that kind of money to do so. I am asking for Rock Honda to step in and make this right and fix my car or give me a working car with no issues.
