I started makeup school around 2018-2019 I paid $2500 upfront. Due to my work schedule I had missed a few classes which they accepted. We were always told we can make them up whenever there wasn’t such thing as expiration date and so on. I’d call never received an answer and through text no one would respond. When the pandemic happened I was able to get ahold of someone whose name is ******** told me to view the calendar online and make them up. I never heard back from her, but ****** seemed to respond after she told me she’d give me the access online to continue my classes and would reach out she never did. I texted her again asking when I can start and said they’d reopen in a month I sent text messages after and never heard back again. I eventually tried emailing stating that I’ve been trying to speak to someone about the issue and have constantly reached out various of times through text and calls in which no one ever got back to me. I stated that I had paid for my course already and wanted to finish off my remaining classes in which were 3 I believe to finally get my certificate and would kindly appreciate all their help. Never heard since then. When I constantly try to call the line doesn’t go through. Just to find out that they shut down and I’m sure they were shady and have been shut down ever since then explaining as to why I never heard anything back. It’s super unprofessional and definitely would like a refund. I’m super frustrated with the situation and the lack of communication with this so called business. I invested my saved up money in something I eagerly wanted to achieve just to be neglected poorly and falsely given reassurance yet never sticking to their words. They never had the audacity to reach out or let me know they shut down. I demand a refund , I’m super infuriated that they didn’t care about their clientele. I sadly had to keep searching the school to find out through Yelp that they PERMANENTLY shut down. I’m disgusted that I invested there
