I went to smile time (************** )to have my wisdom tooth that was causing me pain removed . I was informed of infection given antibiotics to clear it and referred to make a smile orthodontics to have it removed . At first they told me I needed a consultation and then would have another appointment for removal . I stated I could not take two more days off of work to have it done. The lady scheduling me told me she would talk TO THE DR to see about same day treatment . She said she got confirmation that I could have consulting and treatment done SAME DAY (3/14/2023) she also said they would call me within 24 hours if there was ANY problem with insurance . I received no call and even confirmed with make a smile orthodontic (where work was to be done in ******)that I would be having it pulled and if I needed to fast they stated yes its being pulled with nitrous oxide no need to fast . NEVER was I told there is a chance of needing a bone graph which my insurance would not cover and that procedure could not be done without paying $ 625 out of pocket. My husband was working all week three hours away and came home to take me to this appointment taking time off work as well as myself taking a full day off as well to have this done . We drove a hour from our house to have this done today just to be told they could not do unless I had the$ 625 to pay for it now. I am in agonizing pain and have now taken two days off to have this tooth removed and have gotten no where with this company and no one has been of any help. The dr even said he could not prescribe me anything for my pain to get through until finding another dentist . Just over the counter which Ive been taking and is not working anymore than 4 hours. There is a huge lack of communication between these two linked companies and they are relaying false information that cost my household a loss of quite a bit of money .
