    Complaints BBB has received for Boardsi appear to contain similar allegations. Complainants have generally alleged that after signing up for services with Boardsi, they find that the services are not as they were advertised and that they do not receive the services they expected.

    BBB corresponded with the company regarding these complaints. Boardsi explained that because of the niche nature of their services, it can take a number of months to match a candidate with a board position and that most complainants only use their services for a couple of months or less. Boardsi has generally responded to their complaints by providing refunds.

      I have not been given access to the platform boardsi had promised and have contacted them several times to cancel without any response.

You also only asked to cancel 3 hours ago (screenshot attached) and we responded as quickly as we can, which unfortunately led you to write this review in the meantime. You account has been canceled.       I have canceled my membership via email as Boardsi has no other way of canceling the membership. I was charged $199.00 for my **** card on 9/25/2021.I do not want the alleged services or products for the Month of October 10/01/2021. So I have sent email to Boardsi, stating that October has not started and the services or products are not wanted. I canceled my membership and returned my $199.00 to my **** card.

      This was for me a bad business choice as it does not take into consideration we the Talent regarding wait time for allege companies to make a decision.

      Boardsi claimed to provide access to board seats, charging fees to set up the account and profile. I never got access to the platform, customer service doesnt answer and when I email them they keep forwarding it to another person.

      In April I signed up with Boardsi which promises to provide a matchmaking service between professionals and Board of Director positions. I had to pay $395 initially and have been charged $195/month ever since. However, the company has never contacted me and they don't answer my emails. I am seeking a refund of the $1,175 I have paid them.

      I have spoken with Mr. ******* finally. He is being refunded and taken from paused no payment, to fully cancelled. There was a misunderstanding on how to contact customer service, we do not list this number in our app for our clients as it is on our website and he just didn't see it so he went straight to BBB.

      ***************************** we did not see a requested settlement in there, can you re-open it and have a message asking what settlement is desired? We have left multiple voice messages and replied back via email since the initial request with no response back so it is apparent he does not want to speak to us but we are happy work through the BBB system to wrap up the response as he did not ask us to cancel, but just made the complaint first and that is where the communication dropped off on his part. We had paused payments as soon as we saw this so he would not get charged again.

      Paid $395 for them to set up a board level profile and provide me contacts for board positions that match my expereinces. They promised corporate board positions that paid between $15,000 and $30,000 per year. they did nothgin but cut and paste my LinkedIn account information, proivded no other serivces, have no where near the number of listings for board positions, most of the companies are startups looking for sales people, not board positions. Very false advertising, and they have no meaningful contact or process to let you know anything about the process. It is nothing but a scam and they refuse to communicate. None of the statements on their website are truthful...[see attached images]

      I joined Boardsi in May 2021. Boardsi is an online matching service to fit executives with companies seeking BOD members. They charge and upfront fee ($200) and a monthly fee ($200/mn). During the onboarding process they outline expectations - placement on multiple boards and contacts by multiple companies over the coming months. To date I have received zero contacts by any company via boardsi. I called last month to complain and they said they needed an additional month to show results. I waited the month (paid the monthly fee), and still not one contact. I understand that placement is a more difficult process, but not having one company contact me in three months is inconsistent with the expectations they set. I believe this is a fraudulent organization that simply sets up clients, gets some monthly fees and has little to no ability to generate what they say their service provides.       I first talked with Boardsi on 12/17, and was immediately charged $395 initiation fee including first month although my on-boarding call didn’t take place until 1/4 and my credentials for the site weren’t activated until 1/11. I was then charged for a second month of service on 1/16 when I hadn’t actually been in their system yet. From Jan until April I continued paying for the service, using the website to search for and apply to many openings that seemed like a fit, but despite all of the promises made in the first Dec call I received no communication for those 4 months until I emailed asking to cancel the service on 4/21. I do not think Boardsi delivered on the services they promised despite the fees. Additionally, the Boardsi website/search portal is quite poorly executed, and as a technologist it is definitely not what I was expecting. Overall I’m out $1,370 and received 0 updates, leads, or emails and none of my applications seem to have been reviewed in the 4+ months I paid.

Fourth months into your membership is when you requested to cancel. As we discussed with you during the introductory and onboarding calls, around the four month mark is when profiles start getting connection requests. We would love to make things right with you. If you could please respond to the emails and phone calls from our team, we can get this resolved as soon as possible.
