    Complaints BBB has received for Boardsi appear to contain similar allegations. Complainants have generally alleged that after signing up for services with Boardsi, they find that the services are not as they were advertised and that they do not receive the services they expected.

    BBB corresponded with the company regarding these complaints. Boardsi explained that because of the niche nature of their services, it can take a number of months to match a candidate with a board position and that most complainants only use their services for a couple of months or less. Boardsi has generally responded to their complaints by providing refunds.

      I paid Boardsi $200 for the membership fee and $195 for the August ********************************* getting selected to be on a corporate board of directors. I was supposed to get "credentials" from the company and more information on corporate board opportunities. I have not received any more information from Boardsi and cannot get access to the website because will not accept my current password nor let me change the existing password. I cannot access the webpage to cancel my membership. Also, I called to cancel my membership before Boardsi charges me a monthly fee again in September. I would like to cancel my membership and get a refund of $395 because the company has not followed through and the webpage is not working. I have read many other accounts that this company is a scam.

      I initially signed up for their services in February 2022 since they assured me that I would be able to have placements with many different boards and board positions. They assured me that it would take one to two months to be able to get multiple board positions. They also assured me that they would be working behind the scenes to match me with companies and board positions. They told me that my knowledge and skills were in their top demand industries for companies looking for board positions. Fast forward to March 2022. No positions have been matched; I have not had any offers. I emailed the company indicating my dissatisfaction and they did not care and did nothing to help. They assured me that it would take a little bit longer. Now, in August, there is still nothing and they have done nothing to help me. They continue to bill me despite me asking them to stop my services with them. To this end, I am requesting a complete and full refund for all monies paid since March 1, 2022. This would be a refund in the amount of $975.

      Boardsi does not make any guarantees of the kinds stated since its role is to present board position

      opportunities to candidates and assist them in the application process, but it does not make the selections.

      Boardsi found a viable opportunity for this candidate but he failed to respond to our efforts to reach him

      for additional background information related to the specific opening and his schedule for a possible

      interview. The customer was never billed after he asked ******************** to cancel his service we immediately

      stopped all ******** and, based on his apparent misunderstanding of our services from the beginning, we

      have arranged a full refund.

      In April, I inquired about a board position posted by boardsi. I was looking to join a board in order to help others. They called me and explained that they are a matching service and that if I subscribed, they would work with me to create and optimize a profile that would attract potential company matches and help me find a board position with a good fit. I had an initial call and paid the initiation fee of $395 in April. I waited for the call as they said but no follow up call came so I reached out and set something up after several weeks. They requested that I send my resume and spent 30 minutes on the call with me to ask about my background/goals etc (this was suppose to be used to help match me). After that call, I logged in (June now) and noticed that key details of my resume were entered incorrectly and I was unable to edit it. Additionally, they only used the resume info I sent, nothing more (and they did not even get my information entered correctly). I sent an email (June 13) and explained the date and grammar errors they made, requesting corrections so that I could apply. I was billed $195 in late June (the monthly recurring amount). However, with the information in my profile incorrect, I cannot apply. It has now been over a month with no reply to my request to correct my profile and I should see another **** this week (for $195). I sent another email 2 days ago requesting the changes and notification of when they correct it and have had no reply to that email. I expect to be billed another $195 this month (and still no ability to apply). At this point, I have had ZERO benefit from this, they are not correcting their errors, and they have not provided the services they said they would. I sent an email today with my intent to cancel. I would like a full refund. This business is a scam.

      On July 11, 2022 I was offered a business consulting position with Boardsi. Moreover, the person who conducted the interview seemed "authentic". However, i was perplexed when they charged my credit card $395.00 in one transaction? I was told it was a $200 dollar setup fee then $195 a month thereafter. I gave them my credit card and it was charged almost 400 with nothing set ** in their system? This threw up alarm bells and i began researching the company. This is not something that should be happening. I want my money back ASAP.

      I signed up for Boardsi to receive assistance with and placement on an advisory board or board of directors. I paid the $395 fee. I have received no substantive feedback or leads. I have received no feedback except that they are working on it. I have pending applications, but they just sit there in the queue with no feedback. The services promised were never provided and all resources on the site are unreachable.

      I was billed $395 on May 2, 2022 and then $195 on June 1, 2022. I responded to an employment ad on LinkedIn that Boardsi had represented as an available open position. After taking several weeks to speak with someone at Boardsi, I was asked to join and pay the fees above. I agreed because they promised a platform with many board openings and they would help me with the process of seeking employment. After a month of reviewing and applying to positions, I realized that not only was the original posted position not real, but all of the posted positions never changed. None of the ones I applied to ever responded, either good or bad. The last straw was that when I asked to cancel via email (since there is no way to do it online), they said I had to schedule a call with them. This is clearly a scam business. I am seeking a full refund of all fees paid to Boardsi.

      Misleading information on services for AI matched algorithm to placement on a paid board seat for companies of interest. Instead received a basic portal that doesn't allow you to cancel your subscription *********** anyone within the company, Boardsi. There is no "contact us" or help within the portal. A basic search on companies that you need to apply to like a job posting site or companies seeking you to sell their firms for free. It is not an AI matching to talent, skills and credentials as advertised. The resume writer "expert" did nothing more than copy and paste of the current resume and it is not able to be edited at all in the portal by me. The Company has not responded to many of my emails for cancellation of subscription, as well as my emails to edit the profile for better matches. Several emails were sent with no response once I said this was not for me and I would like to cancel. Monthly billing is continuing.

      This company purports to be a job match company for those seeking board seats. they post jobs constantly on LinkedIn however their job board never seems to change. When you apply to a board role, the application stays in their process for many week and there is never any feedback and they just go dead. The employees are dubious at best with fake LinkedIn profiles listing their education and background that is also fake. They charge you an onboarding fee and basically auto-scan your resume and indicate they are marketing you to their target companies. Ive never seen a copy of how they are marketing me, and my information posted in their portal, that I cannot edit, is incorrect. Emails go unanswered for days and again, no jobs materialize. My success manager name ******************************* indicates in her ** profile that she went to ************** for Network Specialist at ************** where they only offer Law degrees in a for-profit school.
