I am writing this complaint due to the lack of quality care my mother *************************** has received at the ******************* Northbay Health Medical centers from 2020 up until now. Northbay ordered emergency hernia/gallbladder surgery on my mother in 2020 and during this process the medical staff was extremely rude, failing to provide the status of my mothers condition due to Hippa violations despite me being the next of kin. The hospital attempted to discharge my mother from their care 24 hours after the surgery however my mother could not walk on her own and had to be re-admitted into care and was sent to a rehabilitation center. At this center she contracted ******19 & was placed on induced coma as well as a ventilator. Thankfully my mother was transferred to the ***************************************** where my mom and the staff had to assist with teaching her how to walk and breath again, however did not fully recover from lung issues associated with the ******19 disease. Fast forward to 2023 after giving my mother a physical her doctor noticed the alleged hernia surgery was not properly completed so her doctor scheduled an appointment to redo the surgery 9/27/23. My mom ended up having an allergic reaction to the staples at the incision site, where nurses came to her residence weekly to clean the site inflicting further traumatic experience on my mother. 1/12/24 my mom went to the ** in fairfield where they had her wait several hours in the hallway on a ****** waiting to be seen due to an infection whilst my moms glucose numbers went over 900. Not to mention someone in the hospital stole my mothers phone and is still without a cellular device to this day due to the hospitals negligence in either discarding my mothers phone and/or stealing it all together. The rehab my mother was transferred to (**************************) was also very rough punching on her back during changing her diaper which was reported to management and medical staff.
