H*** my dispute happened on June 25. 2022. The business rents jet skis and I inquired about renting two jet skis. I spoke with ***** the owner and stated that it would cost six hundred for the two skis and a one thousand dollar deposit. We agreed and he gave me an address to pick the skis up at. I showed up the next morning and the skis were not as described but he insured me that he would swap them out for the right ones at the final destination. I showed up at the ********** river and one ski was ok but the other one was very beat up. He said sorry but the ski had been in a major accident the week prior but still ran perfectly fine I have family visiting from out of state so I didn't want to keep complaining. We both took note that the mirror is broken frot hatch doesn't stay closed. Plastics on body broken. Seat torn and body has major cracks from another ski running on top of it. We went out on the skis for three hours. Before taking them back I filled them up with gas as requested before return. Upon returning ***** and his brother say that the damage was not there before and we're going to keep some of my deposit. I have family in the car as well as my ten year old son so I don't want to argue. I go to ****** leave a review cause I feel the service was not good and he is keeping partial money to pay for an already broken ski that I know we absolutely did not damage. ***** proceeds to text me calling me a cry baby and that I'm a internet warrior I have all text to back this up. Then he proceeded to call me and harass me even more. The amount of my deposit he kept was 200 dollars. I want my money back but I also wanted to let others know on social platform of what he is doing cause I feel it is wrong. I cannot find in your directory that this is even a legitimate business so I don't even know if I can do anything about it? If you visit there website it seems like a legitimate business.
