A car was brought into this Smog shop on 04/06/24 to be smogged. However, an incorrect report was provided back for another vehicle which was not caught at the time of service. This shop has no record of smogging my car even though they admit it was brought in. They have submitted the smog report for another vehicle that was in the shop.

The customer has a valid complaint. The customer spoke to the technician about the problem and was offered a refund and to have the smog check done at no charge if the car was brought back. I have talked to the employees that were working that day and it sounds like there was a mix up in paperwork and the customers car never received the smog inspection. From what I understand, Mr. *** had someone bring his car in for him to have the test done. She paid for the test. She called the shop on April 8th and said she could not return to the shop to have the test done on the car and wanted a refund. She was issued a refund to her card. Again, we apologize for the mistake and the inconvenience this caused. I have had a conversation with the employees involved and discussed with them about what could have been done to avoid this mistake.
