I've been working with Wadsworth Glass for several weeks now and I'm tired of being gaslit. Most of their positive reviews are from homeowners, yet despite their clear focus on residential work, theyve been chosen as the preferred supplier for the ******** condo buildings. Below I explain (i) why they lie, and (ii) why they should be fined for non-OSHA compliant ************ windows are over 50 years old and have been severely damaged by sun and salt air. Despite being aluminum, the corrosion is so bad that one frame has lost structural integrity and bent out of shape. The others no longer seal properly, letting in cold air constantly. My electric bill is double the building average, yet Wadsworthwithout ever conducting a leak testinsists my windows seal properly. This is gaslighting #1.I also have mold growing in the broken seals. The mold spreads through the apartment with the wind, and even with air purifiers, Ive developed pulmonary mycosis. Cleaning doesnt help because the mold returns. It's so visible that even ChatGPT can identify it from a photo. Yet Wadsworth claims the windows are fine and dont need replacing. Gaslighting #2. Ive contacted several Bay Area attorneys, but since this involves an HOA, no one wants to take the case. If you're an attorney willing to help, please reach out.Imagine employees acknowledging the mold, corrosion, and broken seals, yet still telling you and your HOA that the windows are fine.Lastly, their installation methods are unsafe. For units they do agree to replace, they use an in-house harness rig bolted into the concrete ceiling with 60 large holes, rather than a proper hanging platform. This setup is not OSHA-compliant and weakens the building structure. Worse, they patch the holes with plaster, not concrete. I know because these replacements have introduced new issues and caused further damage.

Disgruntled board member of his ***.. Homeowner should go over ******'s all members are provided with to better understand ***'s stance on window replacement. He is also presenting false information using photos that misrepresent. Please Dear Valued Customer,Were deeply sorry for your dissatisfaction and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns about your windows at Gateview Condominiums. Wadsworth Glass has made multiple attempts to contact you to reschedule an evaluation to discuss your issues further, and we remain committed to working with you and the *** to find a solution within our ******** a an approved supplier for Gateview, we perform window maintenance and replacements under the ***s CC&Rs, budget, and a third-party fenestration consultants report, which, as an *** board member, youre likely familiar with. Our inspections found that the windows meet bare minimum standards and, while not compliant with Californias Title 24 energy efficiency requirements, retain serviceable life, aligning with the consultants assessment. We understand your concerns about corrosion and air leakage, but our role is to follow the ***s directives, which determine repair or replacement based on the reserve study and budget. Ultimately, the decision to repair or replace windows rests with the homeowner, subject to *** approval.Regarding mold, we take such issues seriously. Per standard *** CC&Rs, mold within individual units is typically the homeowners responsibility to address through professional remediation, often related to ventilation or unit-specific maintenance. We encourage you to consult a licensed mold specialist and raise this with the ***. Our team has not denied the presence of mold but is guided by the consultants report, which does not mandate window replacement. On safety, we assure you that our interior comp channel system for window replacement adheres to **** standards (29 CFR ******** and ********). We use personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) with anchorages. Our workers are trained in fall protection, equipment use, and rescue procedures, and all equipment meets **** requirements. We do not use exterior hanging platforms, as our work is performed entirely from the interior, and any anchorage installations are repaired with appropriate, durable materials, contrary to your description. These practices ensure both worker safety and the buildings structural integrity. Were eager to continue this dialogue and invite you to contact us at ************ or through the *** to schedule a follow-up evaluation. Alternatively, we suggest discussing your concerns at the next *** meeting to explore options, such as additional inspections or budget considerations for window upgrades, in line with the CC&Rs and reserve study. Thank you for your feedback, and we look forward to assisting you further.Sincerely,Wadsworth Glass Team .
