1 starThey Dont Even Deserve a Single Star Worst Hosting Experience Ever If I had the option, I would give InMotion Hosting zero ******** a business owner from *****, I trusted InMotion Hosting to provide reliable service for my website. Instead, I faced repeated downtime, unresponsive and careless support, and complete negligence of critical issues.Their support team offers copy-paste responses with no accountability. Even after escalating multiple times and clearly explaining the impact on my business, nothing changed. Its like talking to a wall.They failed to uphold their promised SLA, and their behavior shows they do not care about international customers. ********************** has caused financial loss and mental stress, and I have now filed complaints with:BBB (Better Business Bureau)FTC (************************)***** Cybercrime ************************ Avoid this company if you value your time, business, and peace of mind. 1 starI'm filing a complaint against InMotion Hosting for persistent service failures, negligent server migrations, lack of support, and breach of contract. I request a full refund for the remainder of my contract and compensation from when they first migrated me to a defective server.Timeline First Migration (Sept 2024):Requested OS upgrade in May 2024; waited 4+ months despite follow-ups Server developed significant issues after migration Migration performed improperly Server set up with wrong configuration Required me to rebuild server settings myself Critical business websites went offline repeatedly Tech's confirmed new server was faulty.Second Migration (Feb 2025):Migration performed improperly Server set up with wrong configuration Required me to rebuild server settings myself Critical business websites went offline repeatedly ***** Issues Persistent Downtime: Multiple client websites repeatedly offline Technical Failures: 503, 524, and various 500 errors regularly No Support Response: Multiple tickets ignored; callbacks never made False Promises: Assured "no downtime" but experienced significant outages Negligent Configuration: Essential modules not installed, security not configured Business Impact Weeks of lost productivity (80+ hours troubleshooting)Client websites experiencing significant downtime *********** rankings on multiple client sites Professional reputation damaged with clients Resolution Requested Full refund for remaining 8 months of contract Compensation/refund for period since first failed migration Compensation for lost time troubleshooting their errors Evidence Available Support tickets: #*******, #*******, #*******, #*******, #*******, #******* Email correspondence showing lack of response Uptime monitoring records Chat transcripts acknowledging but not resolving issues I've given InMotion multiple opportunities to resolve these issues. 1 starI have been a customer of ********************** for 3 years. I recently had a lapse on an account and went to renew and discovered they had wiped my website and data off the server. It was not recoverable. Additionally, they mentioned suspending an account which implies that it can be brought back (maybe with a fee) they don't mention that they will wipe it off the server in 30 days. They don't mention that they will remove the subscription from your cancelled history. This means when I logged in to renew several subscriptions I had no idea that the account was still at risk for suspension. I am extremely disappointed. Hours and years of work, data, gone. I understand I have a responsibility but even companies like wix remove the website but save a draft that you can always come back to.Review fromGeorge W

1 starExtremely ******************************************** and Poor Customer Support My experience with this ********************** company has been nothing short of a nightmare. The servers are unreliable, with frequent outages that severely impacted our operations. Support wait times are excessively long, and in several instances, my tickets went completely unanswered.Despite paying for a three-year plan, we endured a year of subpar service. When we requested to cancel and asked for a refund for the remaining term, the company flatly refused. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to address valid concerns has forced us to pursue legal action to recover our funds.Their pricing is also above market rates, making the poor service even more unacceptable. 1 starTerrible sales and support. After several call to get a new webhost, I signed up with my email and web site, paid by ******. I recieved an email pending from inmotion bvut ****** took the money out of my account.I called ******************** and they are useless, could not find my account even though I received email from them.Basically I can not get a refund as they can not find my account.Every time I call, their version of fixing it is to sell me more ************** should not be in business !!They are theives and do not care about their clienteleReview fromWilliam D

1 starThis company only cares about your money. The dashboard has no way to cancel an active subscription. So, I removed my payment method that was valid (I had 2 on file, one expired, and one active), and only the expired card remained. 2 months later, I noticed a charge on my billing statement. Sure enough, they're STILL BILLING ME.... How can this be, when I removed the active card on file? Literally the only payment method is expired.... So, I emailed support, and even the *** said if the payment method was removed, then there was no way for them to charge me. CLEARLY NOT THE ******* I had to contact support, and have them delete my account and issue refunds. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I've been doing web consulting and development for quiet some time, and I've never seen a hosting platform do something like this. I'm pretty sure this has to be illegal, right? If a card on file is removed, and recurring billing for the card on file should also be discontinued...Review fromLorraine C

1 starDon't use this hosting company. They won't give you technical support. You wait days to get help and then they never call you back. They use to be better but now they went into ****** and screwed up everything. I've been with them for 10 years and now I'm leaving. 1 starI am a new customer. I moved my host to ********************** two days ago and moved my nameservers to them. I can't ping my domain since then, and the temporary URL they set up didn't work either.I contacted customer service on chat, and after over an hour, they said it's an issue with their server they're working on.I checked today (two days since), and it's still not up, so I recommend you not move your critical domains to them.Review fromSean H

1 starIf you have two-factor authentication enabled on your account, dont bother expecting any technical support via chat after hours because they still havent repaired their broken two-factor authentication software. Unfortunately, its not sending the texts it claims to send, when you log in. And, unless you can handle only receiving help via phone only and only during their limited daytime hours on weekdays (no weekends), youre out of luck.
