I have been a member of JustFab since 2014. Every month I missed to skip the month, the company charged me $49.95 which will count as VIP credit that I can use later. When I signed up in 2014, there was no expiration for this credit. I have 7 VIP credits total of $349 on my account that were expired. **************** advised me that expiration policy has been in policy for 2 years now. But I was not even aware of it. JustFab did not give enough notice for this expiration. There is no expiration reminders in the website. And, I also didnt sign any agreement for this new expiration policy. As per ****************, they will give me $10 for each credit total of $70 for compensation, but this is not fair. I want my credits back that I can use even for limited time, or a refund. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks.Business Response

I have been a JustFab VIP member since 2017 and had five VIP credits totaling $249.75, which were still available in my account as of July 2023. In July 2023, JustFab announced an upgraded membership policy, which explicitly stated that VIP credits would expire after 12 months but that members would receive expiration reminders three months before expiration. However, JustFab failed to send me any expiration reminders for these five VIP credits. When I logged into my account in February 2025, I discovered that all five credits had expired on September 1, 2024, without notice. I checked my inbox, spam, and all email foldersI did not receive any reminder emails as promised in their policy update. When I contacted JustFab customer service, they first offered only $10 per expired credit as store credit. After escalating the issue, they promised to review my case and provide a response within 24 to 48 business hours. However, despite their assurance, I never received any response, follow-up, or resolution.Additionally, I still have one remaining VIP credit, valid until March 2025, and JustFab has again failed to send any expiration reminders for it. This shows an ongoing failure to adhere to their own policies regarding customer notifications.Resolution Requested:Reinstatement of my five expired VIP credits ($249.75 total) due to JustFabs failure to send required reminders.Documentation proving that expiration reminders were sentif JustFab claims they were.A guarantee that all members will receive expiration notices as promised to prevent future issues.JustFabs handling of VIP credits is misleading and unfair to long-term customers. They failed to follow their own policy, refused to provide proof of notification, and ignored their own escalation process. I request that JustFab correct this issue immediately.Business Response

Complaint: 23005774
I am rejecting this response because: JustFab has failed to provide any proof that they sent expiration reminder emails, as required by their own policy.
In their July 2023 membership update, JustFab explicitly stated:
"Unused VIP credits will expire after 12 monthsbut don't worry, we'll start reminding you 3 months before expiration, so you'll have plenty of time to shop!"
However, I never received any such reminders before my five VIP credits expired on September 1, 2024. I have checked my email inbox, spam folder, and promotions folderthere is no record of JustFab sending these notifications.
JustFab's response merely repeats their expiration policy but does not acknowledge that they failed to notify me in advance. Additionally, I requested proof that these reminder emails were sent, yet JustFab has provided no evidence to support their claim.
Furthermore, I still have one active VIP credit that expires in March 2025, and JustFab has again failed to send any reminder emails for it, proving that this is an ongoing issue affecting customers.
I request that ******************** either:
1) Reinstate my five expired VIP credits, OR
2) Provide verifiable proof (with timestamps) that expiration reminder emails were sent to my account.
******************** cannot enforce an expiration policy while failing to uphold their own commitment to notify members beforehand. If they continue to refuse to address this issue, I will escalate my complaint further.
Sincerely,

I Do Not Accept the Response Made by the Business to Resolve This Complaint
Response:
I am rejecting this response because JustFab continues to avoid addressing the core issue and has still failed to provide any proof that expiration reminder emails were sent.
JustFab's response claims that expiration dates were displayed in banners within emails and in the Account section of their website. However, this does not fulfill the explicit promise made in their July 2023 membership update, which states:
"Unused VIP credits will expire after 12 monthsbut don't worry, we'll start reminding you 3 months before expiration, so you'll have plenty of time to shop!"
A general website display or unspecified email banners are not the same as direct reminder emails notifying customers of upcoming expiration. J****** has not provided any evidence that such reminders were ever sent to my account.
Furthermore, I still have one active VIP credit that expires in March 2025, and I have once again received no expiration reminder emails for it. This proves an ongoing failure to notify customers as promised.
My Request Remains the Same:
Reinstate my five expired VIP credits, OR
Provide verifiable proof (with timestamps) that expiration reminder emails were sent to my account.
******************** cannot enforce an expiration policy while failing to uphold their own commitment to notify members beforehand. If they continue to refuse a resolution, I will escalate my complaint further with additional consumer protection agencies.

This business is extremely predatory and has been robbing countless people nationwide.I made ONE $30 purchase for TWO BATHING SUITS in 2019, and since then (now Feb, 2025) have been unable to cancel the monthly recurring subscription of then 39$, now 45$ per month. I have been ROBBED THOUSANDS BY THIS COMPANY. I have called many times and chatted through their online website with their customer service representatives who give me a run around and ultimately do not cancel the subscription. On one occasion that I called, the woman told me that she can cancelled it only to find my bank to be charged and so on. I have tried to eliminate the payment method listed, but it does not change as it requires a payment type on file to update.I have changed my bank card three times now and they still manage to pull funds from my account. This is robbery, I am a working class individual who cannot afford to keep paying these exuberant monthly charges for a service I do not use nor need. If anyone in *** can help me, or if there are other victims to this scam, I would like to commit to a class action law suit against this company. Similarly in 2014, they were sued and won in the state of **********. Sincerely, I hope if nothing else, this posts helps other people not fall into this money grabbing scheme.Business Response

Hello *****,
Thank you for reaching out through the BBB. Wed like to clarify the charges on your account, which are related to your VIP Membership. You enrolled on July 21, 2019, after redeeming our 2-for-$24 new VIP introductory offer. Before completing checkout, our shopping cart provides a summary of how the VIP Membership works, including important disclosures. To proceed, customers must agree to the VIP Membership Terms & Conditions and the Terms of Use of our site.
As part of the membership, you must log in and select ***** the Month" between the 1st and 5th of each month if you do not wish to be charged. If the ***** the Month" option is not selected, an automatic monthly membership fee of $49.95 is charged on the 6th of each month (until cancellation), which is then converted into a promotional VIP Credit for future purchases.
Our records indicate that your account has 62 credits in total, and we have already refunded 12 credits, totaling $599.40. Due to the amount of time that has passed since the original billing, we are unable to process electronic refunds for the remaining credits. However, we can issue a check, which will be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Please confirm your shipping address and the name for the check, and we will process it promptly.
Additionally, we have canceled your membership, and you will no longer be billed moving forward.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.Best,

I went on my just fab account in December and found that all my credits were gone. Those credit were accumulated due to me forgetting to skip a month however instead of requesting my money back I kept the credits expecting to use them later. I had about 8 credits and as I look online I found that they imitated this policy in 10 /2023 and I keep all my emails and I do not see any correspondence from just fab informing me of this change or that my credits were due to expire . Lastly those credits were purchased before this so called New stipulation was initiated . There needs to be a class action lawsuit on this because just because it is a credit I used my money to purchase it how does my money expire ! This is a joke and way for this company to take from consumers . The credit are used to buy THIER products on THEIR website why are they expiring. I know that just fab have their own reasoning to expire these credits however when you also have a policy in place that allows this company to access your bank account each month if you dont skip a month just feels unfair to me please help me to get my money back I can not just throw away approximately & 400 dollars!Business Response

$15.85 on 12/03/24 Only approved purchase. One pair of boots. No further charges were approved or authorized. Did not sign up for any additional services, and did not purchase or receive any additional products. This is the only order I initiated. $49.95 on 1/13/25 (Not authorized) $49.50 on 2/12/25 (Not authorized) Company signed me up for a monthly membership plan without my consent or knowledge. Absolutely nothing during my original checkout indicated that I was signing up for anything additional. I was only purchasing a pair of shoes, not a membership. My receipt only showed the boots and shipping. Over a month after I approved my initial and only authorized purchase, I began having money taken from my ******, which I only noticed after I had been charged nearly $100 by this company for goods and services I did not receive or purchase. I attempted to resolve the issue with ****** with no success, as the company lied that I authorized the purchases and they closed the case based on their word.Business Response

I became a member of Justfab in 2018 at the time the policy was that credits do not expire only points that are earned from purchases. I made a purchse in October 2023 and apparently, in November of 2023 there was a change in a policy that I never acknowledged or was aware that they now expire credits after 12 months. So I had 15 in JUST FAB and 4 credits In JUST FAB KIDS that expired that I was not aware of. I called and spoke with a *** named *** and this person told me that the 15 credits woul be issued in the form of a check in 4 to 6 weeks. The credits I had accumulated happened because there was nothing that I wanted or multiple time they were out of my size in most everything I was interested in so I was holding on to them unaware that they would all be taken away. $729 is a lot of money to just be taken away and when I called three 5 different times from Dec 22 to Jan 27 and spoke to 5 ***s and was got told my check was processing. The 6 time i called on Feb 19 i was told that my case was escalated and that my refund was denied. I am pretty sure is illegal to retroactively enforce a new policy. Furthermore this should be considered misappropriation of funds. There are thousands of hard working peolple that is out of their money while JUT FAB robbing customer who entrusted them. My menbership is canceled and there is no trace of the expire credits. I want a refund for the credits I did not get to use.Business Response

I pay for a monthly subscription from justfab. I logged in to my account today and noticed that 5 of my credits were missing. I pay $50 each for these credits. I did the customer service chat on the website and was informed that they credits expired and they would only give me $50 back as site credit. December 2024, I contacted JustFab to cancel my membership due to overcharges. To keep my business JustFab advised they would send me a check in the amount of $569 to refund me. February 1, 2025, contacted JustFab because I had not received the check. They said I shouldve received the check December 13, 2024. I asked them for a routing number and they were not willing to provide. They told me I would need to wait 1-1.5 weeks because they needed to open an investigation. I contacted them again February 13, 2025, they told me they didnt know anything and they would escalate and we should receive a response in ***** hours. Based on all the negative information regarding Just Fab, Im unsure if a check was sent out to begin with and/or if Ive just got to let this go at this point. Its unfair and this is not how a company of this magnitude should do business.Business Response

Complaint Against JustFab Failure to Refund 7 Membership Credits ($349.65)I am filing this complaint due to JustFabs failure to refund 7 expired credits, totaling $349.65, despite a clear verbal agreement from their representative that all 9 of my credits would be refunded. Background / Initial Contact On 11/25/24, I contacted JustFab and spoke with ***** regarding my 9 membership credits ($49.95 each, totaling $449.55).2 were active, 7 were marked as expired (money does not expire)I informed ***** that I was moving to ******, where JustFab does not ship, so I would be unable to use my credits. After placing me on hold three times to speak with her supervisor, ***** explicitly confirmed that I would receive a full refund for all 9 credits. I asked her twice to verify, and she assured me all credits would be refunded.Failure to Honor Agreement On 12/24/24, I checked my credit card statement and saw I had only been refunded 2 of 9 credits. I immediately called customer service and was told to wait a few more ******* 12/27/24, the 7 credits were still not refunded. When I called again, I was suddenly told that expired credits are non-refundable, even though they were now showing ACTIVE, completely contradicting what ***** had told me.
