1 starThis company is fraudulent. They were hired to work on my *** in 2022. The *** was misdiagnosed and symptoms and more still exist. There prices and invoices was greatly increased. As the complete operating system is malfunctioning ( right front mirrow , right headlight dim no main light. The back license plate isn't lite up. The dash lightmalfuction. The vehicle is runny ng on one cylinder and will not pass smog nor can it be driven it will damage the engine. It's like a paper weight just sitting in my back yard. I worked with them for 4- months or so to fix. The different mechanics like 4 continued to over look the front end and do enternal engine repairs that was very costly. I bought this *** for a birthday present. It was a waste of me ney. In December I bought a new car of acar lot. After the fact repair smith fraudulent charged my card 413. 63 for what. I never authorized this charge. It was disputed with credit card company and card blocked. Beware of this company they will damage your vehicle and fraudulent charge your card 2 1/2 years later.Review fromTitameshia M

1 starStay far away!!! Negative stars.. repairsmith came out to fix my girlfriends car, when he got to it he never started the car or ran a diagnostic test on it. He simply went ahead and started to replace the starter without even knowing if that was the problem. It took him 5 hours to get this done, we checked on him ************** and the last time we checked on him we caught him standing next to the car watching **** on his phone. He then decided to run a diagnostic test and told us the starter never needed to be replaced. We cant even get an apology from the company. We demand something in return for this absolute worst service.Review fromLee J

1 starBeware of RepairSmith - Possible Scam Alert!I recently had a deeply frustrating experience with RepairSmith that has left me convinced that this company may be running a scam. If you're considering their services, please read my review and think twice before proceeding. My ordeal began when I needed to cancel a service appointment. To my dismay, there was no apparent way to cancel the service directly through their website or customer portal. My only option seemed to be reaching out to their customer support through their chat feature.Upon initiating the chat, I explained my situation and the urgency of my request to cancel the service. The agent I chatted with reassured me that they would promptly handle the cancellation for me and assured me that I would receive an email confirmation shortly. Trusting in their word, I awaited this confirmation.Days passed, and nothing happened. No email, no cancellation confirmation - absolutely nothing. I tried reaching out again through the chat, but the result was the same: promises of assistance, but zero follow-through. It became painfully clear that RepairSmith was playing a game of empty promises and deliberate inaction. At this point, I couldn't help but feel scammed. They had already charged my credit card for the service, which I explicitly requested to cancel, and it was evident that their "customer support" was nothing more than a faade. In essence, RepairSmith took my money and left me with a service I did not want. Their complete lack of responsiveness and accountability is a glaring red flag. I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of this company. There are countless reputable alternatives for car repairs and maintenance, and RepairSmith, based on my experience, should not be one of them. This company's actions, or lack thereof, lead me to believe that they are running a scam. Do yourself a favor and avoid RepairSmith at all costs.Review fromMichael S

1 starI had set an appointment with the company and they either canceled or changed the appointment when asked to speak with someone they come up with some issue why they cant and this is a part they put inRepairSmith

This customers appointment was scheduled for 06/26/2023 Arrival Window: 04:00 pm - 06:00 pm PDT unfortunately, it was scheduled due to the technician being out sick. We do have a escalation policy where a ticket is filed and someone with respond back to the customer within ***** hours by email or phone. We do not refuse to let the customers speak to management that is just how the process works. The customers appointment was then rescheduled for 06/27/2023 Arrival Window: 08:00 am - 10:00 am PDT and the warranty claim inspection was completed. Per the tech notes:
During road test vehicle has harsh shifting and forward/reverse engagement hesitation and front suspension clunk noise. When a schedule has to be rescheduled it is listed on our page FAQ
Why was my appointment cancelled or rescheduled? RepairSmith
Occasionally, situations happen where a technician is unable to make the appointment due to circumstances outside of their control. When this occurs, a service advisor will reach out to let you know and provide options for rescheduling your appointment. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if RepairSmith needs to change your appointment time.

1 starIf I could give this rating a zero I would. The mechanic arrived at my apartment and asked which camshaft sensor is he changing and I responded that you're supposed to be changing a crankshaft sensor and he looked confused. Then he says oh that's right as if he wasn't sure what he was here for. That was his first mistake and I should have stopped him then but I allowed him to continue and as he kept trying to get me to go back inside I stood there anyway because at that point I did not trust him and wanted to make sure he was putting on the right part and a new part. After he was done he tells me that there's something still wrong with the car so I asked him did he reset everything because there are steps to the process other than just changing the sensor. So I asked him is that the first time he ever changed the crankshaft sensor and he says no but I've never changed one on a Dodge Charger. By now I'm on the phone with customer service and I'm frustrated so I asked the man why did he accept the job if he knew he had never dealt with a Dodge Charger because you can clearly see in the system what type of car you accepting to work on and what you are doing or supposed to be doing. From that point everything else continue to escalate into an argument from there while I'm on the phone with customer service and this man really did not care and I told him to get off the property. So when he got ready to leave I actually had to ask for my keys because he had them in his pocket. It's sad that a mechanic would show up to work on a vehicle that he knows nothing about and then have the nerves to have an attitude with you and argue with you while on the phone with customer service. **************** was supposed to be letting me talk to someone else but instead she hung up. People please whatever you do don't use repair Smith if you don't want to get screwed overRepairSmith

Thank you for your feedback. This customer setup an appointment to have a crankshaft sensor installed with a diagnosis from another repair facility. The Repairsmith technician installed the requested part and it did not fix the customer's issue. A diagnosis was recommended by the technician to properly determine what part was required to fix the issue.Review fromDavid W

1 starPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid this company like the plague. I had an overheating issue with my truck, the guy came out and diagnosed it as a thermostat issue and didn't fix it properly and it failed just a few months down the road all while still having the same overheating issue. They went ahead and charged me full price for a failed repair and a misdiagnosis leaving me with a thermostat issue and the same issue I called them in the first place about. Then they tack on a bunch of charges if it turns out the ****************** misdiagnosis is wrong. Currently I'm in the process of having the vehicle warrantied by them but will continue to update as things move and change.
Update Dec-XX-XXXX
The truck was out of commission for 5 days, the mechanic I dealt with earlier did not s**** my radiator hose tight enough and didn't fully tighten my thermostat housing bolts on correctly. I had to be the one to fix my truck. The warranty check was scheduled for 4-6pm but I got a text at noon saying the mechanic was on his way to my house. I called up the chain of command trying to reach any and everybody and they were away from their desks. It's been over an hour now and I still haven't received anything from them. Please don't risk your time and money with this company, reaching out to them to work on my truck has been the biggest mistake and I can only hope my experience with this company is seen by others so they don't have this happen to them.David W

I'm appreciative that I will never have to deal with this company again. "Which is standard. The customer didn't need a warranty inspection until 5 months later, which means the vehicle did run". Did the vehicle run? Yes. Was the problem fixed? No. If it was just the thermostat then why was there still an overheating issue? And that's the point everyone I've spoken to have missed. Using my quotes from our chat dialog when the problem arose is misleading as well. You're telling me to remember if I paid card or cash from a transaction over 5 months ago and shine this complaint in a certain light. A partial refund was given because I never wanted to hear or speak from your company again. My opinion of your company still stands.RepairSmith

The customer had a correct diagnosis of the thermostat needing to be replaced on 08/28/2022. We have a warranty that covers 12,000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first. Which is standard. The customer didn't need a warranty inspection until 5 months later, which means the vehicle did run. We do not tack on extra charges for a misdiagnosis. What was stated to the customer during their chat was ( Raphael Jabson via chat Dec 27, 06:30 pm Warranty visits are conducted at no charge to the customer. However, under certain circumstances, there is a $165 fee plus a $24.99 service call if it turns out to be a new issue or not related. Please keep in mind, if the issue is related to the previous repairs performed, the repairs and the visit will be covered under warranty, and you will not be charged any fees ) The customer understood and agreed. Also, the customer did not pay for his visit on 08/28/2022. He stated he paid cash that day which he did not. ( Raphael Jabson via chat Dec 27, 06:48 pm I can see here that you have a $286.79 balance owed on your previous appointment.) ( David Ward via chat Dec 27, 06:49 pm I shouldn't? I paid the guy then and there ) (
RaphaeJabson via chat Dec 27, 06:49 pm Would that be via cash or card?) ( David Ward via chat Dec 27, 06:50 pm If memory serves I paid cash ) The customer never paid until it was time for his warranty visit. Our policy is we do not come for warranty visits if there is a balance on the account, that is why we didn't charge the customer's credit card until Dec 28, 2022, in order to set up the appointment.

1 starI received an online quote stating that I would be charged $194.58 for my battery and $49.50 for labor costs. After the work was completed and my card was run this company charged me $334.76 for the battery. The email from Nea Nonato say that they "update our prices based on local market rates and actual repair invoices." I went online and pulled up the prices for the battery in my area which ran between $106 and $204. There was also an additional charge of $24.99 for delivery which was not even in the quote. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They pull you in with a reasonable quote and then charge you the top price on the quote listed under the statement "Your estimate is between $ and $"RepairSmith
