I filed a prior complaint regarding this organization. This is the second time that I am tendering a complaint regarding the same company. Please note that the original complaint was tendered within the BBB twelve-month time frame. This second complaint is regarding the same defective windows and the lifetime warranty that was issued at the time of purchase. All Seasons Windows and Patios installed windows on our entire home. The contract and warranty agreement were submitted to BBB on or about January 2016 along with the original complaint. With almost every ********* rain two of the upstairs windows leak and rain pour into our house through the window seams. We have contacted the company each time that this occurs and they send a representative (*****) who puts caulk on the windows. This is a temporary fix. ********* does not enter for a short period of time and then we are back to where we started. We have contacted the company numerous times over the years. Most recently in November 2022. It is notable that during our most recent contact with ************************* at All Seasons Windows and Patios, ******************** attempted to tell us that we would incur a $199 fee for ***** to be deployed. I reminded him that we have a lifetime warranty for the windows, which were clearly defective and/or not properly installed. Multiple attempts have been made to reach ******** since that conversation and he is no longer responding. Moreover, videos and pictures have been sent to ******** showing the leaking window and the fact that the rainwater is coming through the window seams.Business response

Hello Mrs. *********************************** you know, All Seasons has been out to your property several times to address your concerns over the 2 windows on the 2nd floor. This is not a defect of installation because; the other 16 windows that were installed have not had any issues. The last time our installer was out to service your windows, ***** had mentioned to you that it is a possibility that it was coming from your roof. Whether or not if you had your roof looked at, we were trying to help come up with a solution for you. When our crew was out there, they performed a water test and there was no water leak, but when it rains, there is a leak. That is why it is believed the water is coming from somewhere else, not the exterior of the window. With the numerous times that our crew has been out there and with the amount to sealant applied to the two windows, it's hard to believe that water is coming from the windows. Also, you are passed your 4-year labor warranty and when a service fee was told you, you refused it. Your windows do have a life time material warranty, but labor is not included. Again, there seems to be no issue with any of the other 16 windows that were installed at your property.
There have also been numerous times that All Seasons has attempted to provide service to you in the past and you have been unresponsive or responded months later. All Seasons has also submitted a warranty claim for your windows on your behalf to ensure there are no issues with the 2 windows. Again, with the amount of sealant that has been applied to the 2 windows, its our believed that the water is coming from somewhere else.

Our warranty with the company/patio cover has expired, however when it's been more than one year since we've been trying to get someone to come out and repair the issues. Every time I called they were short handed because of covid. We finally got a contractor to come out and fix the problems, the contractor told me that he could fix the lights but that we will keep having the same issue. He also noted several other things wrong with the project, electrical cords up on top are exposed to the sun, (our patio is made of metal) also the pitch in our patio cover is causing the water to sit in the gutter. The company is saying they will only replace the lights and install an extra spout to help drain the water. I've asked the company several times for our contract and also reports of the repairs that need to be done by the last contractor out on our property and they will not send them to me.Business response

Mr. & *********************,
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for selecting All Seasons Windows & Patios for your patio cover project and the opportunity to respond to your son in law complaint. After reviewing the complaint posted on BBB by ****, we felt we still needed to respond promptly to his allegations, even though **** was not involved with this project.
When our representative, ***** meet with you it was discuss and noted on the on the Home Improvement Addendum that All Seasons would be using the existing footings to attach the new posts. It is also noted on this form the following on the back: Line #6 Contractor shall not be help liable of any condition no t visible during the initial job check. Please find attached a copy of this form.
It was discovered at the time of the installation when the pavers were removed that only one of the three posts were attached to a footing. We immediately alerted *********************. We also advised her if she wanted All Seasons to do the footings it would be $400 additional for each footing. She informed us at that time, that she was going to have her son in law **** pour the two footings needed to attach the new posts and would contact us once they were done so we come back to finish installing the patio cover.
At this time, this project is on hold until those footings are poured. Please give us a call if we can be any further assistance
Respectfully,
********************************* 10/20/2021

Improper installation of outdoor patio and insulated patio roof cover. Company ignoring my requests to repair and or tear down. Improper pitch and slope of patio cover has caused numerous leaks, unsightly rust, and low spots of standing water. They have sent 2 teams out to reevaluate. Both team heads agrees in private conversations with me the slope and pitch of roof is poor and needs to be torn down. Company has not advised me on what their teams found. Its like pulling teeth with this company to get any information and none at all. Its lawyer time if BBB cannot step in and help us.Initial Complaint

Zoe & ******,
First and foremost, I hope this letter finds you and your family well during these challenging times. On behalf of all of us at All Seasons Windows & Patios, we would like to apologize for delay. As I mentioned in our conversation on July 17th, nation wide companies are experiencing long and inconsistent lead times from their suppliers due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Unfortunately, after our conversation you still decided to write that misleading review on the BBB website. After receiving notification of your review, All Seasons communicated with you & BBB in regards to the misguided information you wrote on your review. All Seasons has never asked you to pay in full. I called you to ask you kindly to modify your review with the truth but you refused.
All Seasons has asked our installation crew to work this past weekend on order begin the installation of your patio cover. We are committed to work with you on making sure that your patio cover is installed to your complete satisfaction.
Sincerely,
*********************************

Better Business Bureau:Despite what the company says. The job has finally been done at no special regards to us. The company waited for me to start a complaint to get the job done.
Throughout the whole time we had to wait. No one updated us about time frames of completed work time frames. I had to call and keeps asking them to finish the work. So, despite all they say I will not refer them to anyone nor will I say that my experience dealing with them was pleasant. But, as for now. Indeed it has been completed.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
****** And *************** Blessing
