On Jan 9th I went to Karrada Jewelry store to purchase earrings there Mr. **** sold me a pair of gold earring costing $750 he specified to me that If I pay cash I do not have to pay tax or any other fees. I told him that I do not have cash and would rather use my card and he insisted on cash or ZELLE so I tried to send via ZELLE but my account didnt work. He told me to call the bank and get it fixed while on hold with my bank for over 30 min he told me okay Ill just charge you $750 on your card I was confused and clarified that the charge be total $750 he stated yes and checked me out when I checked out on the device the total showed $750. I signed and left. Once I took the earrings out of the box one of the chains broke immediately I went back in within 10 minutes of purchasing the gold earring. I requested a refund and his associate told me no refund no returns exchanges only. I stated the refund policy was not told to me. I also stated I did not wish to keep the earring since they broke and would just rather have my refund and they refused to return. I showed Mr. **** and his associate the broken earring and she started to blame me saying I broke it. And refused to help me. She said I can exchange for the price of gold but not the gram I bought. I bought 10grams of 21k gold and said I can only exchange for the price. I didnt have no other choice but to exchange for 2 gold rings. During the process of her weighing the gold rings and giving me a price she spoke Arabic to Mr. **** and kept asking how much should I charge her for this. So the price would add up to 750. The rings only added up to 730 and she gave me $20 dollars back. The rings were only 7grams in total and 3grams of gold at the time of purchase was $52.79. My refund should of been $158.37. They lied and scammed me and kept saying its policy. This business should not be open with these types of policies in place all theyre doing is stealing from people. I should of gotten an equal exchange.
