I contacted the company in April 12, 2022 to make an appointment for a windshield replacement. I was then told that I would need my vehicles system to be recalibrated to make sure all the sensors would still work otherwise Id sign a waiver releasing them of liability. They said they DID do this in shop and could recalibrate for me. I came to my appointment and arrived at around 8:15am May 17, 2022 where they gave me the price amount and said it should take about 3 hours. They took my car to the garage and began removing my windshield. As I am sitting there I hear another employee state there is no calibration software for a ****** Sentra 2021. This conversation between employees continues on. After about ***** minutes, one of the employees makes a phone call asking someone on the other end about Sentra software. He then finishes his conversation with ok I will let my client know. He then comes to me & tells me they cannot recalibrate my system as they dont have the software. This is AFTER they have already removed MY calibrated windshield and placed their own. AFTER the owner has already told me in emails that they CAN do this at their shop. I did not sign any waiver releasing them of liability and I want my money back. They charged me $415 for a windshield that took 40 minutes to install and is not safe to drive with. They told me just use old school skills when driving, do not listen to your sensors. Excuse me? I am baffled and disappointed that they would let a single mother drive away in a vehicle that has faulty safety sensors because they did not do their due diligence into their own businesses capabilities. Had they told me before the transaction that they could not calibrate the vehicle then I would have not continued with the service. Also the cover to my sensor camera fell off as I was driving home due to incorrect reinstallation. I had to drive this vehicle from Dublin to Fremont with my 5 year old child with faulty sensors.
