Not honoring service the machine's warranty claim or providing any information or updates on the status - Purchased washing machine on 5/6/2023 - opened service claim as still under warranty on 4/22/25. Had a service appt on 4/28/25. Called the company on 4/22/25, 5/12/25, 5/15/25, 5/27/25, 6/2/25, 6/23/25 to ask about the status of my claim. In addition I emailed them on 6/2, 6/17, 6/23. Each customer service person I have spoken with is unable to provide me with any info and are refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor, manager or escalations ***** It has now been two full months since I opened the service claim and I am unable to use my washing machine as it was deemed unsafe to use by the service tech. Upon reviewing the case presented and thorough investigation, it was determined that this situation does not stem from a defect in material or workmanship of the machine and therefor does not fall into the limited warranty obligations. I have a Speed Queen washing machine on which the cabinet top is severely rusted and needs to be replaced. It is still within warranty. Speed Queen is refusing their warranty because they say I used bleach in this washer.Business Response

At Alliance Laundry Systems, the manufacturer of Speed Queen residential appliances, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and value the feedback we receive from our consumers. Upon reviewing the case presented, we have reached out to the consumer to discuss their issue in detail.
After examining the situation, we referred to our Users Manual, which clearly states that bleach is a highly corrosive substance. Overfilling the dispenser can lead to chemical damage to the washer's components, and unfortunately, such damage is not covered under our product warranty. We understand this may not be the resolution the consumer hoped for, but we emphasize the importance of following the proper care and maintenance guidelines outlined in our Users Manual to ensure the longevity and performance of our machines.

I am rejecting this response because: Never in my life would I have thought that a warranty could be refused for using bleach in a washer that has a reservoir CLEARLY marked for bleach. They never 'reached out to me to resolve the issue" They had to be constantly dogged by my e-mails and phone calls to finally send fabricated responses. They said they would send a *** out to access the damage which they never did after I accepted that invitation. What a chicken sh*t outfit Alliance is!!!

Dear BBB Representative,I am filing a complaint against Alliance Laundry Systems regarding their repeated failure to fulfill a service request for my Speed Queen washer repair.On February 26, 2025, I began calling ************ multiple times to report an issue with my washer, which was making a clicking noise. After numerous attempts, I finally reached customer service (CS), who assured me that a dispatcher would contact me to schedule a repair. However, I never received a ******* time passed, the washers condition worsenedit now pauses mid-cycle and remains locked, preventing us from opening the door. Concerned, I contacted CS again on March 17, 2025, and was once more promised that a technician would arrive within a few days. Unfortunately, no one showed up.I followed up again on March 26, 2025, and was told that a technician would come on March 28, 2025but again, no one arrived.On March 31, 2025, I was informed that due to a computer issue, my service request had not been dispatched. ** then assured me that a technician would come on April 2, 2025. On that day, at 3:20 PM, no one had arrived, so I called again and was once more told that someone would come later that day. However, no technician ever arrived.This repeated pattern of false promises and lack of accountability has caused significant inconvenience. As a small business owner, I rely on properly functioning equipment to maintain my operations. Each time I was given a service date, I had to adjust my schedule and wait, only to be let down repeatedly.I am filing this complaint with the BBB because I believe this companys service practices are unreliable and misleading. I request an immediate resolutiona confirmed repair appointment with actual follow-through. The customer acknowledged that we did resolve his issue, but he was frustrated that our dispatcher rescheduled multiple times. He requested a refund to remove the negative remark. While we dont believe that this warrants a complaint against us with the Better Business Bureau, we will issue a credit for the full amount of ****** with the agreement that he will be removing his negative complaint.Customer Answer

BOUGHT THE SPEED QUEEN SET OVER 1.5 YRS AGO AND ***** HAS NEVER WORKED LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. We purchased an Alliance Laundry Systems Speed Queen set on 22.Jan.2024 Both coin boxes have faulty locks. Perhaps there is a QA/QC issue with these boxes. Alliance Laundry Systems is now telling me that coin boxes are not under warranty. The only solution they can offer is re-purchase. I don't see how spending another $300 with no warranty and no comfort that the new boxes will work is even legal, let alone good business practice. I proposed mailing or dropping off the boxes, but was told that Alliance Laundry Systems could do nothing for this customer, even if presented with the non-working parts.Business Response

A representative of our company contacted the customer. The coin boxes in question are covered under a 1-year part warranty and this was clarified for the customer. In addition, it was explained how the customer can get the coin boxes through warranty as well as provide an alternative to work with the representative directly to resolve at no charge. However, the customer has only provided the model/serial number for the washer so we are waiting for the consumer to provide the dryers model/serial number as well so we can register the customer's machines and handle the customer's concern completely.
Please note that this complaint was filed against our service parts website, which is not responsible for handling warranty issues for the consumer.

On 9/15/18 we purchased a ******************* from our local appliance store (*********************** and Sons). It came with a 5 year warranty. Over the years we had it serviced for some minor issues but otherwise it worked ok.On 8/14/23 we opened a service order with the company we purchased the machine from due to a repair needing to be made. The part didn't arrive until early October and the repairman came out to make the repair. After spending some time working on the machine he informed us the part we were sent was incorrect and he would need to reorder the part. They took the machine with them to their repair shop and gave us a loaner to use in the interim. Over the next several months, i tried to contact this company (Alliance Laundry Systems) to determine why the part was taking so long to arrive. I was told that the problem was widespread and therefore the parts were in high demand. After over 6 months of waiting, the part arrived this Tuesday, March 26 at my home. On Wednesday, I drove the part in to the repair shop. Later that same day, I received a call from the shop informing me that this company had yet again sent the incorrect part. I contacted them once more to tell them of their mistake and I was told that my machine is now out of warranty and they will not be offering us any other assistance resolving this issue!My case # with Alliance is ******* *********** order with *********** is ****** issued 8/14/23 We purchased the machine for ****** plus tax The warranty was for 5 years beginning 9/15/18 I have had great difficulty getting a response from anyone higher than a customer service rep. **** every time i reach out to them, I get someone different and have to explain the situation all over again. This has been a never ending cycle of frustration. At this point, I want the dryer replaced with a new machine since they cannot repair the original. We are a Distribution Subsidiary of Alliance Laundry Systems - We have never done business specifically with him.
This is a complaint that should be presented to *********************** & Sons - They sold the customer the equipment & failed to register their Warranty correctly.
We have no control over how this proceeds.
