I went to V Nails & Spa on 12/30/2021 to get my nails done before the new year. Before going over there, I checked prices online and confirmed the services I wanted provided to me. Once at the ******* told *****, the employee working there, what I would like done and she got started. At no point throughout the entire time I was in the store was I given a menu to check prices for my services. Once they services were done (poorly as well), I went to check out and was told that not only are they no longer accepting credit cards as a form of payment (only cash and Venmo accepted), they have also raised prices and not updated anything online or communicated to customers in the store. ***** convinced me that the owner would get in touch with me shortly and refund the discrepancy in payment but that I should pay the full amount so that she would not get the money taken out of her paycheck. I felt bad and obliged. The owner then dodged my messages for four days before refusing to talk to me at all about the matter and will not refund me the differences in prices. Through text conversations - ***** lied and told me that she had told me these things (when admitting the day of that she had not) and also told me that I was being recorded (which there is no signage of). The owner is now using her as a buffer for conversation and refuses to directly communicate with me in any way. They are also attempting to justify this by saying they are in the process now of changing prices online after my appointment was completed. I believe that this is false adverting, poor customer service, and a nail salon that employs inexperienced technicians. Because of the blatant lack of regard for customers I want a full refund for my services. The pedicure online was stated as $27 but I was charged $30 and the dip power I received was priced at $41 online but I was charged $50.
