Saw a 2013 ******** s550 listed online for sale,contacted the.used car dealership by phone and obtained info and interest to purchase the vehicle, wired All stars $22K and ******* the owner/sales rep found financing for the remainder, he charged me sales tax and registration fees of which no documentation from California DMV was sent to me therefore I was told at my.county registration office I would have pay the sales tax all over again plus a penalty for not having registered the vehicle within 30 days of purchase date. $2709.45 tax $495.00 registration is what he charged me in the purchase contract, after texting and calling ******* twice a week to see what the status was on the package and envelope, he was also supposed to send me a remote control for the rear seat DVD built in TV'S,and also never got those, he said they were shipped out but somehow were returned, then I'd call him a few days later asking for the affidavit or on the dealership letterhead indicating the error on the title, so my county could allow the vehicle to be registered in my name of which is not in my name to this day 5 months after the purchase,he agreed to cashapp me the money and or pay the registration fees in Nueces County of which I asked for the amount he collected from me since he said he could get a refund from the state of California, then in what became a weekly follow up of calls he claimed he sent me the check for the sales tax/registration fee and said it was check #****,never arrived. I sent him a certified letter return receipt and it was refused. I asked him to look into changing my extended warranty company and I'd pay the difference, he said he would send me the info by email after it was confirmed and I never received that either, I read the dealerships reviews and they seemed as if they conducted good business practices so i didn't foresee this issue I have today. We were sold a car that was altered illegally. The tire pressure gauge was dismantled. A couple weeks after purchase a tire popped and I was stranded. The person who changed my tires said the arrows were in the wrong direction and the two front tires were bald. I drove the car on the spare to a tire shop and was told by them that the car was a death trap waiting to happen. The tires were installed incorrectly and backwards and the tire pressure gauge had been dismantled as well so if there was an issue with the tire pressure wed have no warning. We tried several times, maybe hundreds of calls and texts, which we still have, to resolve the issue and were promised repeatedly that it would be taken care of. We asked for the original Lexus tires and rims to be put on the car and were told and promised that would happen. Excuse after excuse, unanswered call after unanswered call and we finally had to purchase a set of tires ourselves and have them installed. He then promised again to at least reimburse us but that has never happened after several attempts to reach him. Weve tried being nice and even mean a few times but nothing seems to work. We also found he has 18 out of 23 one star reviews and complaints on Yelp! This man is ripping people off left and right and getting away with it over and over again! Any help in getting what we are owed from him for the tires would greatly help us out. Its more of the principal of the whole situation now. This man and his company need to be held accountable for his actions and lies.
