      In January 2022 I signed a contract with Guardian Auto Shield stipulating that for 4 years till **** or ******* miles my car will be covered for most repairs described as Deluxe package .I paid $1000 down payment and for the next 18 months till July 2023 I was automatically billed monthly $327.41 for a total of $6,891.00 I have been calling the company for a service coverage for the last 2 weeks and nobody is answering and now their line is disconnected. My further inquiries found out that Guardian Auto-shield has filed for bankruptcy during the summer of 2023, while still collecting my monthly payments. Now they have collected all my contracted patients of $6,891.00 and left me with no coverage for my car for the remaining 2 years of the contract that they signed and took a responsibility for. I need to be reimbursed for at least half of my full payment to them for only half of the contract coverage provided by this dishonest company that never informed me re their bankruptcy filing and kept collecting my monthly payments.

      I bought an extended warranty through this company. I just finished paying it off and I had to get my water pump replaced. When I called to make a claim I found out they are no longer in business. I paid over $3,000 for this warranty which expires 5/28/2026. What should I do now?

      Purchased a policy and paid on it for almost over a year. Decided to cancel the policy 2 months ago. Told me I would get a refund. Called today, 12/23/2022, and was told I wasn't eligible for a refund. I never used the policy. Why can't I get a refund?

      To whom it may concern; on April 2022 I purchased a new vehicle warranty with Guardian Auto shield. I paid $279 to start and from May 2022 to October 2022 this company took $179 out of my bank account every month. In September of 2022 it took car to be serviced at a ****** dealership and tried to use my warranty on an item that was stated in the policy handbook that was covered, turns out they did not accept my warranty coverage so I called to cancel policy as I no longer needed the warranty. I was told I do not get a refund even though my guardian Auto shield handbook States if I cancel policy I get a full refund. This is robbery of over $1000 of my money i have paid to this company and I have never used this warranty. Help!

      I cancelled my policy on August 1, 2022 and was told that the policy would be cancelled as of that date and no other charges would be take out of my account. I sent a cancellation request as well via USPS and they still took additional money out of my account on August 12, 2022. I have called over 10 times to try and get my money back a deposit of $100.00 plus the additional $119.92 that was take out of my account after cancellation. I last spoke to them on August 15, 2022 and was told that the money would be refunded it still has not been refunded to date.

      Guardian Auto Shield ************************************** ************* Account #: ************ Actuation Date: 5/10/2021 Sales Rep: ***************************** Contacted Guardian to cancel my policy and get a refund back in February because my car was totaled in an accident.Received a run around about refund. Contacted the finance company (WALCO) that was drafting my banking account. They told me that I could not receive a refund on this account.Tried to contact Guardian again (8/29/2022) and was told the filed for bankruptcy. Their website is still active but transfers to a different company.

      I purchased this extended warranty for two of my vehicles. Went to use it three different times and was denied all the times. I called back to cancel and ask for my money to be refunded because they keep denying each service when I was told that it would cover my claim. I asked to speak with someone higher up and was told there wasn't anyone. Mind you prior to cancelling the agent offered me another warranty that was suppose to cover and it didn't. She was rude and keeps telling me she isn't going to refund my money.

      On August 8th 2021 I purchased a package from this auto company and did not like what was offered so I canceled via mailing in a letter three times. After the company received the letter I contacted them and they told me Friday the refund would be mailed. Then next time I called after Friday I was told that the next Friday the refund would be mailed. After a full year of this nonsense I am now being told because of the "recession" they have fell under and are no long are company so there is no more money and I will not get my refund. The web page is still running and the workers are still answering the phones.

      I'd like to File and get Resolved a cancellation request made to Guardian Auto Shield. On 8/15/22, not only was a mechanical Claim not covered when I took my vehicle to a shop that Guardian Auto Shield recommended, I purchased the 5-year plan and paid in full. If this policy is not to be accepted by car repair shops, and an engine issue was not covered, then I wanted to cancel the policy and receive my Pro-Rated refund. I was told that I could cancel the policy, but they could not give me my rightly deserved premium refund.
