    I entered into an agreement with Delta about a year and a half ago. They helped me write a book and publish it on ******. Along the way there were up charges on everything and always pressure to pay them. I hired Delta to market my book. It was sold in stores, online and on a Marquee in ************ over the holidays. I put over $40,000 into this book and to date have earned approx $100,000 off said book. Delta has yet to pay a *****. Last week I was told that my money was going to be paid by another company and that the courier company who was sending my money now wants $7200 to release it. Its been one thing after another. I am caught up in a scam by this company. Please, I need your help.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Delta Ghostwriting for failing to fulfill the terms of our contract and not issuing the refund I am ******* April 2024, I entered into an agreement with Delta Ghostwriting to have them write a book for me. As per the contract, I paid $3,000 for the project, which was supposed to include two versions of a 22-chapter book. However, the final product only contained 5 chapters, which was not in alignment with the original agreement.After several communications with various individuals from their agency, I became increasingly doubtful about the legitimacy of the company. I escalated the issue and was assured by a representative named ****** that if the book did not meet my expectations, I would receive a full refund.On Monday, December 2, 2024, I was contacted by a representative named ******, who promised that I would receive a $1,000 refund. However, he was unclear about the remaining $2,000, stating that I would receive further communication via email, which I have yet to receive. Despite my repeated follow-ups, I have not received any further response or refund.Given that the book was not delivered according to our agreement and there was no clear explanation or justification for charging me for only 5 chapters, I am requesting a full refund of the $3,000. I feel that I have been scammed by Delta Ghostwriting, as they have not provided the services I paid for nor the promised refund.I respectfully request your assistance in pursuing this claim and securing my full refund.Thank you for your attention to this matter.     February *******. Was when the first transaction took place. I have written 2 books and the publishers at Delta Ghostwriters said it would be better for me to publish both books. I said ok. So the payments started at this point they began to read my true story and helped me with the correct wording and sentence structure. There was not much to do because I spell very good and I have been writing for a long time and took courses on how to write. What I really needed them for was for the illustrations I would need for my books and marketing, and publishing them. So just recently on November 15, 2024, they had just finished with book number 1, however, they had not gotten my approval on the finished book, not even to this day which is November 19, 2024. I had just finished paying them my last ******** dollars and they assured me that I would not be charged anything else, that I was payed up. So when it came to near publishing, another representative called me and said I would have to pay ******** dollars to have my 1 book published. I told him I was assured by ***, who is one of the managers there that I did not owe anything else. So I told them I had no more money. I have paid them about 1******** dollars thus far. So they kept telling me they could go no further until I came up with this money and they would only give me a couple of weeks maybe to come up with the 7 thousand dollars. I told them I could NOT come up with that amount of money and I told them to stop the work in my books and not to start on Book number 2. Well they started on book number 2 and again I reminded them that I had told *** not to work on my books. I talked to Toy and I told him that he had assured me I owed nothing else and that I would like my money back. I told him I would pay for the work they did in book 1. He said he would talk to management about a refund. The next day he sent me a text saying that management said I do not get any money back. Please help me PLEASE!

    Delta claims it is a professional writing publishing *** It took over a year to produce a very low quality children's book. I then was convinced to have Delta publish and sell on ****** . I paid thousands of dollars and they opened a platform on ****** and have all passwords/access to my book. They will not respond to the money back Guarantee that I signed. They are receiving all royalties and have produced no marketing as promised.

    I contacted Delta Ghostwriters June 2023 after reading raving reviews about them online. A young man by the name of **** assured me that everything I had read about them was true. He told me they were running a fantastic, deal for new writers. He sent me his company info and I paid the fees to begin. In a week or so I received a call from a Project Manager named *****. He stated he needed ALL of my recipes, bios, DNA findings etc. in 30 days. I scrambled with 16 family members to meet his deadline. Within those 30 days, ***** called stating he need money to have the artist create pictures for my recipes. I sent $2,000.00 that day alone. It may have been in July 2023 that I was again told the TEAM needed additional funds to start the Marketing arena for my book. I sent $4,000.00 that day for marketing, integration, publishing etc. In the months that followed ***** Quit or was terminated. NO ONE from the company informed me. I was sending text, emails and leaving voice mails with no response! It was months before anyone picked up his messages and pretty call. I was given another Project Manager, so did not want to work with me. I was tossed to another Project Manager *****, who stated she couldnt access Allens files, his emails, and texts with my family data. She told me months later that someone had messed up my zip files. I had to start all over. Many recipes were over 100 years old and I was told suddenly that they could not be read. I TYPED everything over again and resent ideas and info to *****. No matter what I sent, her team would mix the recipes, delete recipes or erase bios and pertinent information. Needless to say, I still DO NOT have a book ready to print and put on shelves. I was just informed by Delta that they will need an at$5,000 to print my book to make it available on ******. ****** and Nobel and ******. What a cotton picking scam! Two months ago, I was told the team needed an additional $5,000 to upgrade my marketing plan. Paid over $6,000.

    I initially had contacted this company to look at their pricing and their options for writing my next book. When I got there proposals, I found them to be slightly predatory and ****** priced and told them I wasnt interested They continue to repeatedly text me, call me and pretend they are other people so that they can get through to me The reason for the complaint finally is that they texted me today from another unknown number since I have blocked them on five other phone numbers and were talking to me as though they were a friend saying hello ***** whats going on and when I answered, they then hit me with the sales pitch again. Oh, this is so-and-so from delta We have going on As you can see from other complaints, this is a highly unethical company. They lie to do what they can to get into your messages and I find it to be obtrusive and predatory, and I am reporting them and Im reporting them to other entities as well for poor business practices.

    My daughter, *******************************, is writing a book about her life and about closed head injuries. We have discovered that a lot of head injuries go untreated because they are not followed up on till serious complications begin to arise! Our main concern here is we need to know if the people she is dealing with are really from Delta Ghost Writing. Started out with us paying $1500.00. A sale was going on at the moment. She sent pages as she wrote & explained things as she went. Some things would have to ********** over to keep from hurting family members, friends, etc.They sent her tons of questions to answer and wrote up what she sent but when she sent clarifying info, they never seemed to update things. Then they are telling her they think she had a best seller and want to get some well known authors to work with her but they need another $1500.00. Money is very tight here, but ok we send the second $1500.00. Then a month rocks on and they want $8000.00 more for all the well educated folks working on her book. They needed it that day, July 30, 2023. We cant pay all that at one time is what we told them. The book is far from being ready to proofread, edit, divide into chapters, etc, etc. Well since we cant pay $8000.00 today, then we wont get the discount & will have to pay $10,000.00 !! Then they start pressuring us. We already read that when they start pressuring for large amts, they are usually not legit. Do these guys work for Delta G. W.? ******************, ***********************************, *******************, *********************, ***********************. So we told them we could not pay that. They have called over &over. We are afraid we are being robbed. We have asked them for a refund, which they said we could do if not happy! They are refusing to refund us, our $3,000.00. I feel that these guys are pretending they are from Delta.

    I paid for an audible book last Nov./22 and still don't have it. Paid for a guided meditation for them to create and said to only use royalty free music. They didn't so I wanted them to redo it with royalty free music, they have not. It renders the meditation useless because it doesn't have royalty free music. They said my book would be on the front page of marketing, guaranteed or money back. So when I type in Psychic I will show up on the page. Instead they said I should type the title of my book in then it would appear. That is NOT what I paid for and they never gave my money back. It's not appearing at all when I type in Psychic on Amazon. Then I paid for a lifetime of website updates and I have done them for the past four months so they are not doing this either. I want my money back for this as well. This was all in US dollars which means it's even more for me.

    The original date of transaction was march 2022. I paid for a ghost writer/best seller might I add for $3500. I worked with them in the beginning to scope project and record my chapters and upload to WhatsApp. Every time I was contacted by a project manager it wasn't to manage project it was to sell another feature to book. because of my ignorance and vulnerable position of my true story they took advantage of me. Each one would leave company and the new person sounded like it was the same voice. i purchased marketing plan as well and they have failed to deliver to this very day another $5,000 out of my pocket. We were exchanging unlimited revisions and edits but they leave half of the book missing upon return to me. I start over because it is left unfinished. They promise to fix it but you can tell they are not listening. I have ample emails that I have been kind and offered extra time for someone skilled to get on board. They have failed to complete the request and contractual agreement of book. They still have not provided the Quora link that I paid an additional $1,000 for to connect to my webpage. I had to pay additional $500 to purchase domain when I asked about domains that priced lower like ******* and others he said we dont use those. His price actually started higher at $1500, but I knew that others sold them cheaper. I want to be a successful published author and he offered Amazon best seller program and this is when I had enough. It was ***** to begin and by the end of the month it was a rush payment request of $2500 I could receive the same program. It's impossible. I was guaranteed 100% satisfaction or my money back. I have to seek outside freelancers to get book cover done that was included, edits that were supposed to be included and social media that was supposed to be included. my time and money have been stolen under the guise of helping me self publish my first novel.

    Date of incident: 09/02/2022.Amount of money paid to the business: $3000.What the business committed to provide: Quality book writing services.What the nature of the dispute is: Delta Ghostwriting refused to refund back into my account $3000 after stating numerous times in emails and phone conversations they would within ***** hours (05/31/2023), (06/26/2023), and (07/10/2023). Whether or not the business tried to resolve the problem: No. Account/order/tracking number: Project #********. Delta Ghostwriting Services is one of the most unprofessional businesses that I have ever requested for professional services. I was assured by Delta Ghostwriting, namely ****** and the finance manager, ***********************, that I would be refunded my $3000 back into my account by May 31, 2023. However, to this date of July 11, 2023, I haven't received my refund. I have been very patient with Delta Ghostwriting Services and have bombarded them with phone calls and emails for the past 10 months and theres been a total lack of candor and unprofessionalism from this company with resolving this matter. Furthermore, there seems to be a deliberate and willful intent by Delta Ghostwriting Services to defraud individual customers, including myself, of the less-than-optimal writing services for which I paid up front for as stated in my contractual agreement signed in September 2, 2022.As a customer who paid in full for professional writing services, I find their behavior unsympathetic and appalling. The negative connotation is its another run of the mill ghostwriting company profiting through fraud. As a former law enforcement professional I am remarkably familiar with criminal law and being a victim to a company that lacks integrity and engages in illegal business practices is displeasing and annoying. I am prepared to exhaust all efforts with recouping my funds and resolving this matter immediately. Ethics is doing the right thing even if its not perfect.
