  I would not, in good conscience, recommend Amen Clinics to a working person seeking psychiatric treatmentwhether for genuine brain trauma and PTSD or more minor mood disorders. Do not expect this clinic to pinpoint a treatment plan based on imaging or past case studies.About a year ago, I was not thinking clearly and genuinely needed help with lingering effects from a bad accident. As someone who has always been skeptical of psychiatric treatment and the side effects of medication, I was nevertheless drawn in by the marketing of Amen Clinics.The experience was deeply underwhelming. The doctor did not show up for a scheduled follow-up appointment. I expected specific guidancesuch as a tailored diet plan or treatment options informed by prior patients with profiles similar to minebut instead was told, I dont have any case studies to research.Although the clinic director was nice enough to call me, apologize, and rebook me with a different physician, for the out-of-pocket money, Amen Clinics was utterly disappointing.Despite the marketing, they do not pinpoint the correct medication or supplement for you based on imaging. In fact, Im confident I could have received better bedside manner from a standard psychiatrist covered by my insurance. The approach felt no different from standard psychiatrytrial and erroralong with referrals to other treatments. I feel misled and embarrassed that I was roped in by the marketing.

  Be aware, we search for help, they don't provide it, they just charge you more than 5000 and then disappear, no professional staff, no customer service, they lack of respect to the mental patients,they send you to all their different locations and non of them respond,the staff is only for sales,don't care about the patients well being,be very very careful on trusting your mental health with them,it's a big scam. Specially the REMOVEDclinics directors.

  Called this place interested in being tested for REMOVEDand starting potential treatment. I was told by the woman on the phone that it would be $6000 to see a doctor and perform some sort of scan (not a CT scan) and take my spiritual background and talk about vitamins, diet, exercise. I had to suppress a laugh and told her thanks but no thanks. Complete charlatans. I fortunately didn't get sucked into the trap like many others did here. Run, don't walk.

  My name is REMOVEDand I have been charged 5000 dollars for tests.. after I previously have told them about how many tests and what was wrong with me and about all the doctors Ive seen and about how I need invasive treatment. And all they have done is have me pay more money for supplements and oxygen therapy and its doing absolutely nothing. They sent me other to Dr. REMOVEDand I found out they send a lot of people there to get better and I have found more relief with them over 3 weeks versus amen clinics has given me 0 relief and its been months. I feel completely robbed and disappointed. They should have been completely honest with me if they were just going to recommend me somewhere else to spend more money after taking my 5000 dollars for tests and no treatment. Im gonna request a refund because this is absolutely ridiculous. And there are multiple bad reviews about them not helping people. Im truly disappointed

  Im writing this review to warn others about my familys devastating experience with Dr. REMOVEDcousin, who struggles with serious mental illness (potentially schizophrenia or REMOVED), was convinced by this clinic to go off all her prescribed psychiatric medications in favor of extremely expensive supplements sold through the REMOVEDClinic. Since doing so, her condition has severely deteriorated. She is now in crisis, disconnected from reality, and unwilling to listen to anyone who expresses concern, entirely convinced by what she was told at the clinic.Dr. REMOVEDmarkets his approach as revolutionary, primarily using SPECT brain scans to diagnose mental illness. However, this method has been heavily criticized by the broader psychiatric community and is not considered an evidence-based diagnostic tool. The REMOVEDhas stated clearly that there is no credible clinical use for brain scans like this in treating psychiatric disorders.What this clinic does, in my opinion, is dangerous. Vulnerable people are led to believe that mainstream psychiatric care is flawed, while being sold costly scans and supplements that have no proven benefit. The result for my family has been traumatic and heartbreaking.Please be cautious. Do thorough research. If a provider is encouraging a complete withdrawal from prescribed medications especially without psychiatric supervision that is a massive red flag. I hope this review helps someone else avoid the harm my sister has endured.

  I feel like the whole experience was a huge waste of money. My husband and I went together to get our brains scanned, because me and our four adult children, 29 yo-36 yo, have all been concerned about my husband/their Dad's memory. Dr. REMOVEDmet with my husband, myself and one of our children sharing very serious concerns and we were brushed off. She said she'd have to speak with her team before recommending a neuropsych eval to test for memory issues, even though two parts of his brain scan showed they were operating at 45% less O2 than normal. Everything was like pulling teeth, our concerns brushed off. We went to a neurologist where we live and she told us the brain scans don't help, because they don't offer treatment just very expensive supplements are offered as a remedy. The neurologist immediately was concerned on his intake and we are currently on the waitlist to get a neuropsych eval done locally. My advice, get your supplements elsewhere and save the thousands of dollars. Our grandson also had a scan done 4 years ago because of multiple issues, it's been of little to no help. REMOVEDclinic just pushes their supplements with no tangible help provided and the patients concerns aren't listened too. We were offered though, to come back within six months to take advantage of their special half price special repeat brain scan to see how the supplements are helping. SERIOUSLY?!

  As per our patient policies, when a patient no-show's for a scheduled scan appointment, we retain the deposit to cover our expenses for materials we order for the scan (specific to that patient), and when a patient no-show's for an appointment with a provider, we charge for any lost provider time.   If this kind of help is available to the fortunate few who can afford it, Why isn't it available to everyone in this nation? This seems to be a huge issue in this nation. There is information and technology available to help everyone but not everyone recieves it. Technology and advancements need to be shared openly with all health care facilities and providers. No one should be held hostage due to income or lack of money.

  The sales representatives are incompetent and lack the intelligence to resolve billing issues. The company engages in fraudulent activity, and REMOVEDis a con artist. REMOVEDhis quack company.   REMOVEDwas the accepting patient at the front desk. I brought my 10-year-old son for treatment. She was graceful and thorough in making sure our appointment went smoothly. She was able to explain the procedure and what to expect. It was my first time, and everything went well, all on time.
