      Best Life and Health insurance Company has THE WORST customer service of any ********************** I have ever dealt with. This calendar year, we have had issues with billing errors, overcharges, and account cancellation EVRY MONTH, requiring us to call and waste hours of time getting them corrected. Their staff doesn't know what they are doing, you can never get the same story twice...just hollow promises and apologies.We intend to cancel at the end of the year and find a different provider, and want to warn any potential new customers to RUN AWAY from this totally incompetent company.

There admittedly was some confusion starting this year with payments to your account, as a dependent covered under your plan started their own plan, with resulting misapplied payments between the two.       I signed up for dental insurance through Best Life through Healthcare.gov. They did not get back to me in time for me to actually get signed onto the plan which was on them, I did not have a way to contact them at the time. Then even though my plan was cancelled, they still charge me every month for the service I am not getting and I've have to file multiple disputes. I've been forced to cancel my debit card just so they stop taking money from me.

      They are an absolute crock. I paid my premiums on time all year long and they covered absolutely nothing. I had over $5,000 dental work done at Aspen Dental. Charges are higher when you hand over an insurance card to pay the middle man, so if you add that with my premiums, I would have been better off without insurance. Now they are claiming you have to wait a 12 month before they'll cover anything! This insurance is being endorsed through the Marketplace. Those of us that need a little help are actually getting messed over by Best Life. Thoroughly disgusted.

      We are happy you chose BEST Life and Health for your dental coverage needs, but sorry that you are not satisfied with the dental coverage your purchased starting last year.  Our dental plans, like many other dental insurer's plans, do contain a waiting period for specific dental procedures (but not all).  The plan benefits, costs and limitations were available at the time of your enrollment, and our *************************** is also available to answer any questions regarding coverage.

      Much like everyone else, I received an email from Best life and health informing me that my policy was terminating and that if i wished to continue I would need to contact them. They continued charging my card for months after they sent the letter of termination and when I called to see what they were charging my card for, they told me If I wanted to stop charges I would need to call them to make that happen. They literally cancelled the policy but continued taking the money for the policy that they "terminated". I have attempted multiple times via phone and email to get a refund of the money, but they quit responding to emails, and when you call they tell you to email to resolve the issue. The company seems like a scam.

      It took one year and 4 months to get my refund after calling 16 times. Ten times I was reassured that my issue was being escalated to a ************** but I still did not receive the refund. In total I spent hours and hours talking to people, being transferred and waiting on hold. Many times I would talk to a new representative and have to explain the story all over again. The only positive I can say is that the representative I talked to at the 15 month ***** was very kind and attentive and went the extra mile to talk to 3 levels of supervisors that finally cut the refund. This was a very time consuming and frustrating process that lasted over a year. Why would it take 3 levels of supervisors and me calling 16 times for over a year to receive a refund. Very alarming business practices.

      When cancelling your policy - don't just cancel your policy. You need to personally contact them and cancel your monthly payment - otherwise they keep deducting even though you no longer have a policy. Their rule is they will keep deducting until you call to cancel payment as well. Then it is very difficult to get your money back.

      I wish I had checked the reviews before choosing this company. They are a complete scam and its scary that they are on the healthcare.gov ripping off people. I have wasted two years making donations to their company and never getting any real coverage. I left my dentist for someone in their network only for them to deny saying that company wasn't in their network. I explained I had gotten the information from their website and that the provider had contacted them prior to the work being done. All of that felt on deaf ears and I was told they were not responsible for what was on their website.??????

      I am a former customer. I had dental ********************** that ended Jan 2018. Sept 2022 I get a notice in my email for a recurring payment for the premium I had through 2017. I logged into the website, my profile is empty all but the old policy info that shows it was ended in Jan 2018. No invoices, no messages, nothing else. All blank. There is no payment information listed anywhere. I did message the "admin" since that's all that was available and was told, sorry this is frustrating, and the recurring payment was refunded. Uhm. There was no "recurring payment" set up? I am curious how this happened, and where they got my payment information. This seems very shady. If I hadn't seen the email, I may have not noticed it.This is fraud. No way should anyone be getting charged years later, without authorization. As far as I knew any payment information was deleted from my profile. It wasn't there when I logged in to check things.This has made paying bills interesting, since we had to get our bank card cancelled and a new one so this won't happen again. Clearly sensitive information is not safe with this company. Go elsewhere!!
