****** the owner was initially kind and happy to take our deposit do re-do our back lawn; however, after my wife and I paid two deposits totaling $1,150 ($875 and $275) on December 11, 2019, to this day we've heard nothing but excuses as to why he can't refund us or even do the job. As a compromise we told ****** he could at least bring us the seed he said he purchased with our deposit but he never followed through on that either.After a year and a half ****** finally refunded us $110 of our $1,150. He also said he would refund us more of our deposit back when he was able. It is now February 7th, 2022 (over 2 years later) and we still haven't received any of the remaining $1,040 he still has of our original deposit or even the seed (which we no longer want).What we've received is excuse after excuse along with some intense profanity when I've called asking if he will finally give us the seed that he supposedly used part of our deposit to purchase. He said he would drop off the seed and refund more of our deposit multiple times but simply never follows through on his word. Again, this has been over two years of waiting and my wife and I finally decided to share what's happened.When we first paid our deposit to ****** in 2019 (owner of Lawn Pro Maintenance), he said he wanted to do the project in the winter but we asked if he could wait until spring so that when he did the seeding there would be no issues with rain puddling up the seed. We also requested the spring as we were trying to kill the existing lawn which was full of *******, crab grass, and other issues leftover from the prior owners of the property.Either way, we're done with excuse after excuse and hope you too don't go through the type of experience my wife and I have. I feel we've been extremely patient but after 2 years of waiting, it's time to submit our concerns to the BBB.
