Dishwasher repair not completed correctly by first vendor. (paid $65 service fee)asked to have dishwasher repair vendor return. Would not, so FNHW said for me to get my own vendor. I did, but they would not cover it because I threw away broken plastic parts that needed to be replaced. They would NOT refund me my $65 for original service call nor would they cover a proper fix by the repair company I found because I did not keep the broken plastic parts. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

This is an absolute scam of a company. I filed a claim for a broken oven 2.5 months ago, and it's still not fixed. We had a technician come out the first time to diagnose the issue. He had FNHW order a new control panel, but it took over a month between the first appointment and the second one for the technician to come back, and that was only because I had to chase down FNHW and the mechanic weekly to get them to even pay attention to my claim. The technician spent an hour fiddling with the oven before deciding that the new control panel was faulty, and asked FNHW to order the exact same part AGAIN. It's been over a month and I've been calling weekly for updates. Each time, I get told the exact same thing, and that I should expect a phone call or email update in a few days, but that has not been the case. Complete lack of urgency, transparency, and professionalism from this company.

Furnace inspection showed ducts held together with duct tape, big gaps blowing dust and heating my attic, AND the furnace had been permanently recalled because of open flame and potential for bursting. But the furnace still works. Fidelity refused to fix because it was not a mechanical failure, even though my health and the safety of the building were severely compromised.

My compressor locked up on my air conditioner. Fidelity was able to get someone out to look at it quickly, but that is where the customer service stopped. I called seven times on seven different days. Each day they said the "contract owner" would call me back to discuss my concerns. I have not received a single email or phone call back. I asked to speak with a manger and was told I would receive a call in ***** hours. It's been three days since that call and I still haven't received a single call to discuss my open service order. This company has a complete lack of integrity and customer service. Don't waste your money on this company.

Absolutely atrocious experience with this company. Had issues with our fridge/freezer, so they sent a repairman. We had to defrost the entire unit for 36 hours, so lost all of our groceries. (Loss of groceries are not covered - it's in the fine print.) Fine - we'll get the fridge fixed, right? WRONG. Within a month, the same issue occurred. Sent another repairman from a different company. Had to defrost and lost everything AGAIN. Third time with the SAME issue in the past six months and they want to send ANOTHER repairman from a different company who, wait - you guessed it - needs us to defrost the entire unit AGAIN. With the cost of the plan ($655), each $90 service fee, and loss of groceries, we could've bought a brand new and BETTER fridge. Note: our fridge is still not working properly and we are out nearly $1,000 in Fidelity fees alone. Add in another ~$600 in loss of groceries, and we are nearing $2,000. Fidelity are crooks - plain and simple. They outsource their call center to countries where we can't understand the operators, and when you finally do get a manager on the line, they are extremely rude. We are 100% not renewing our contract with Fidelity. We may have to consider small claims court as well.

I contacted Fidelity to confirm coverage for a shower repair. I described my shower as having two separate valves: one for water flow and one for temperature control, with the temperature valve being the component that was not functioning. I was explicitly told this repair would be covered. Two weeks after the technician's visit, my claim was denied, and the service fee was not reimbursed. This misrepresentation of coverage is unacceptable, and I would caution others to avoid them.

I normally dont leave bad reviews, but my experience with Fidelity Home Warranty has been terrible, and I want to help others avoid the same mistake.I paid the $100 service fee, and they sent a technician who did a quick job, said the problem was fixed, and left. The issue was not fixed at all.I called back for a recall, which is supposed to be covered for 30 days. After a full week, they sent the same technician, who didnt do anything. He admitted he didnt know if there was a real issue, and left again without solving the problem. He clearly lacked ************** the company is demanding more money from me, even though this was a recall. When I explained everything, they threatened to cancel my contract if I didnt pay again. It felt like they were looking for any excuse to drop my coverage. This company takes your money but doesnt deliver real service when you need it. In my opinion, it's a scam. I do not recommend Fidelity Home Warranty to anyone. Stay away.

******! After over 10 years of coverage for 2 of my homes, they have changed their sales and service to some external agency, probably based in ************* based on their language skills. They keep denying my claims after the handle on my appliance fell off, claiming abuse even though the device had been repaired earlier and is over 7 years old. Repeated calls to their agents and managers have achieved nothing and they keep repeating their script with parroted lines, unable to carry a simple conversation that helps customers instead laying the blame back on me. Please avoid them at ALL cost!

I filed a claim in 2024, they tried to fix the built in ice maker in a refridgerator. Parts were on backorder for over a year!!!!!! They had parts on order for 1 year!!!!!!Kept trying to cash me out for an absurd low amount. I waited and waited and the part finally came off of backorder and went to discontinued. They will only give me a portion to again cash me out , they are charging me for the attempts to repair when the parts were not available to complete the entire repair and now will no longer cover the fridge saying now that It can't be fixed. it is so crazy how shady they are. Avoid them!!!

They want to send me a company with extremely poor reviews. I tried to request another repair company and they won't let me use someone else. The appliance repair company in question has a 1.7 / 5 rating and after reading a few dozen reviews I refuse to give them a chance. Why won't Fidelity use a reputable repair company or let me use another one? The customer service at ********************** was a bit rude as well and when I wanted to update my contact information the update apparently didn't go through either.
