I borrowed $800 from this company and after paying them over $6,000, I quit paying them. They took $271 from my bank account every 2 weeks. I cannot afford to pay any more money to them and I have more than paid them back. They are insisting I pay them over $1,600 to settle my contract. These people are thieves. I firmly believe they are consider a predatory lender. Do not borrow money from this company!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Washington state consumer finance charges are primarily governed by the Consumer Loan Act (CLA) and usury laws, with a maximum APR of 25% for consumer loans made by non-exempt lenders. Usury laws limit interest rates, generally capping them at 12% unless a specific contract sets a different, lawful rate. The *** also addresses licensing requirements for lenders and prohibits evasion of the act through various means.

Dear Mr. *******,
We are sorry this happened to you. Your contractual agreement is setup on Bi-weekly Thursdays. On your signed agreement you had a payment due on 6/18, which resulted from 6/19 being a banking holiday. We send out courtesy emails, texts and calls prior to every payment in case a situation like this arises. Please reach out to us directly if your contractual pay date is different than your actual pay date in the future and we will be glad to help. ************.

I borrowed $200 from this company. I just now informed that I'm required to pay $130 for the next 12 months. When I called them all of the agents I spoke with were very rude, disrespectful, and spoke to me in a very condescending manner. This action is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated. From anyone. $Business Response

I got this offer with rescue bucks and accepted the offer because the person I spoke to said once I pay the payments every pay day that the payments will lead to me paying the full amount of $350 but they charged me $89 dollars for 4 months. I called them and asked why was the balance not getting smaller the rude employee said because I have to pay it all in full plus interest plus all the payments they had charged me. I am homeless and living in my car have no help and I really tried to pay off but its so much money there charging. How can I do it to not get into no trouble.Business Response

I needed emergency money in October 2024 so that I could pay rent where my wife and sister-in-law (both cannot work due to health reasons) and myself would not become homeless. I knew it was an over priced loan and was to have payments through the middle of March 2025 which took a $500 loan to at this point $2423 as of this date in April 2025. This company preys on the people that are in need to stay afloat in this economy and they take advantage of those that can't afford what appears to be a scam/loan shark practice of so called financial assistance.I also understand that the BBB has tried to contact them and they do not reply, as well as do not belong to the BBB. I would think or hope that the BBB would turn this over to the state and federal Attorney General's for an investigation into this matter as they are continuing to operate fraudulently and yes, taking high interest payment beyond a point where they shouldn't.Just reading the complained here, if I do nothing, I would pay back over $5000 for a $500 loan. Help shut them downInitial Complaint

This company Rescue bucks is a modern day loan shark business. I borrowed $200 a few months ago not knowing that it was going to cost me $1000s if dollars in the end. I would avoid this company at all costs.
