On July, 2023 I found tattoo artist tattedbybenzo on Instagram. I paid $300 deposit through Cash App. I had one session with *******************, at Lucky Budhha Tatto parlor. From my understanding Benzo/****** is a traveling artist. Prior to my first session Benzo/****** asked for another $900 in cash. The first session, ******/***** just did the lining and asked me to schedule another session to finish. On the second session, I met him again at Lucky Budhha, in which he only worked on me for one hour and told me he had to reschedule me. I had been trying to reach out to schedule another session to get my work done, but didn't get answers by *****/****** so I called the shop, in which I was told that they were getting a lot of calls with the same complaint- that *****/****** was asking for money up front and not finishing people's work. I was assured by LUcky Buddha that if Benzo/****** didn't finish my work that they would take care of me. By September 29th, I still had not been able to set antoher appointment with ******/Benzo He would either not respond to my Instagram messages or cancel the appointment set last minute. I called Lucky Budhha to complain again and I was told that *****/****** no longer worked there because they fired him . My mother got on the phone to speak to the owner and asked if they would be finishing my tattoo because that is what they assured me last time I called. The owner of the shop told my mother to setup an instagram page to get others to join on a small claims because he was still getting calls from other clients with same issue- paid upfront to Benzo/****** and he had not finished their work. He assured my mother that he would go to court with us to get our money back and he had a list of other "mama bears" that were trying to track down ******/*****. My complaint is owner allowed this artist to collect money up front, knowing he was scamming people, working at his shop and assuring me I had nothing to worry about.
