This company was dispatched from my home warranty Service (AHS) For a pressure regulator replacement. They lied to the company, telling them that they had to Modify my plumbing and charged me an extra $300.00 for the modification. As you can see there is no plumbing modification that warrants a $300.00 charge. I called the company Budget Rooter in advance but the receptionist couldn't explain what the modification was. As I didn't want to have a serious leak, I agreed. After the fact I contacted my warranty company and they said they paid for the installation, which as you can plainly see, is all that was done. Budget Rooter should be reprimanded for getting paid double or more. they got money from me AND the warranty company..

Greeting , We have talked to the Home owner many times we were told that ******* heating and Air replaced the shower valve and said we put in an inferior part We installed and OEM cartridge . We did replace the cartridge the home owner paid ******* to replace the shower valve . The home owner should have called , Emailed , or texted us and we would have replaced the cartridge the cartridge if there was a problem with it as there is a 1 year warranty for parts . But the home wants a refund and did not give us a chance to go out and try and make it right

    Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:

Budget Plumbing **** Did not return any of my many, many phone call messages I left on their answering service. I have never talked to them in person once. The only reason they even texted me was I happened to have the original plumbers phone number that did the installation of shower fauset cartridge for them and he had the supervisors phone and ask him to call me. He didn't call, only texted me. They took so long I had to get another company to replace inoperable cartridge. 3 months later. I also had a problem with my water heater they installed was inspected by city inspector and he said vent pipe was no good and had to be fixed and they never sent anyone out to repair that. Again I had another plumbing company fix that. At this point I don't even care about monetary compensation, I just want to report bad business practices and non communications and lack of warranty repairs.

I have never had a company that has so little disregard for their customer. I spent thousands of dollars with this company and they couldn't even promptly call me back, or even call me at all. If this even helps one person out that will be enough compensation for me.

Hello,I am submitting the complaint against Budget Rooter Inc, since the last plumber that was at my house to fix my kitchen sink & my bathrooms faucets. He broke the bathroom faucets. However, the plumber submitted a false diagnosis, so he wouldn't fix the damages he did at my house. He also provided 'to me an invoice that states he was going to submit the invoice for parts replacement. I called the Budget Rooter company several times and no one answers the phone, have not gotten calls back or have not communicated with the ********************** who also have been trying to reach them to fix the issues they caused.

    Greetings

After talking to the tech that service the faucet we did not damage anything the home owner called about the lavatory faucet that was not working the problem is that the faucet has low water pressure . Her home warranty does not cover pressure related issues .we have a few invoices the go back a few years about pressure related problems.. Please provide additional proof that our tech broke your faucet .. please call your home warranty to get a second opinion or a recall work order as that typically cover improper repairs

    Thanks Have a great weekend

I am rejecting this response because:

First of all, that company never responded to my phone calls, never answer the phones, not even to schedule an appointment, etc.

Second, ***** is completely inaccurate and making stuff up the same as the plumbers that came to my house. Since my initial request through my home warranty company was only for the hot water handle on my bathroom faucet being very hard to turn and nothing else. There wasnt a problem with my faucets water pressure or anything else. Except the hot water handle being hard to turn. I am not sure where is ***** coming up with that. WOW!!  Trying to get away from their mistakes/damages to my bathroom faucets.

How could ***** be talking about pressure if that wasnt the issue. My water pressure was messed up when the plumber fixed the issue about my handle and then broke my faucet. Because after that, I had no pressure and he broke something on my faucet that the string (water pressure being very low and splashes all over). The pressure is very low. My faucet was working perfectly before, the service call was placed through the warranty company. I had excellent pressure, hot water and cold water working, etc., except the hot water handle was very hard to turn.

How could ***** say the following below which is very inaccurate!!!

After talking to the tech that service the faucet we did not damage anything the home owner called about the lavatory faucet that was not working the problem is that the faucet has low water pressure. . THIS IS Inaccurate! Making up stories!

They broke our bathroom faucets and they need to replace/repair them. They broke them and doesnt want to replace/repair them.  Therefore, they are making up stories, being inaccurate and trying to avoid their responsibility of the damages.

I never called about the water pressure in the first place!  So, ***** is turning himself in

Also, ***** never stated the plumber left me an invoice on which I can provide a picture of it, where the plumber told me he was going to request some parts to be replaced. Obviously, there are a lot of missing parts to the puzzle!!  On which is very wrong and dishonest!!

The plumber said he was going to replace some parts and what he did and put on his report are totally different and contradicting things. Very dishonest of his part!!

The home warranty has my request why I placed the call at the beginning. They also know, the plumber broke our bathroom sinks.

*****, is very inaccurate and making up stories.  I can provide pictures of how my pressure was before which it was normal water pressure.

***** stated Her home warranty does not cover pressure related issues .we have a few invoices the go back a few years about pressure related problems.. Please provide additional proof that our tech broke your faucet .. please call your home warranty to get a second opinion or a recall work order as that typically cover improper

Also, ***** stated something very inaccurate, inappropriate and outdated information.

*****, is trying to avoid of their responsibility and avoiding the current problem that his tech broke our bathroom faucets.

I ask that you stop looking for inaccurate, inappropriate and crazy excuses and replace/repair our bathroom faucets the way they were. Since the pressure was very good in my bathroom and the piece in the master bedroom was in place. We will be getting this matter to the bottom of this and resolved. I have a copy of the invoice that was given to me by the tech.

In conclusion, I want our bathroom faucets to be like they were before the tech came to my house by being replaced or fixed.

    Thank you,

Please provide proof that we broke your faucet ? also call your home warranty company for second opinion if they dont agree with us and our opinion they will fix it . if they do agree with us they may not repair your faucet.  Again I do not agree that we broke anything . You called a plumber to repair your broken faucet and would appear the home warranty does not cover it please call AHS for a second opinion

    Thanks **********;

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

First picture: of broken piece. Second picture: spout (water) splashing all over the place. Third picture: how my water spout was before it was  broken.  So, the proof is here. Also, the home warranty company will be sending me the initial call request as well as the very inaccurate techs report making up stories, etc. And on which you are covering him up trying to avoid the responsibility on your part.

Regarding, ****** message, it is not about a second opinion or not. This is regarding your tech broke my bathroom sinks and I am asking that they are fixed or replaced. Besides, the reason I called the warranty company was to fix some minor issues with the bathroom faucets.  However, they broke them and you need to be honest & take responsibility of the damages. So, dont try different avenues to avoid from the responsibility in fixing/replacing my bathroom faucets, since your tech broke them.

Please be honest and accept the responsibility of your tech. He broke my faucets and they need to be fixed/replaced.

    Thank you,

Again flow restriction please talk to your home warranty about coverages . Please see attachment that this was addressed by me in 2020 and was not covered then also please see picture we took on the first trip you are saying the the handle for your popup assembly you say we broke please look in the mirror it is not there on 1-10-23 when ****** was there you were complaining when Les was there on 1-16-23

We do not agree we damaged your faucet you knew about this back in 2020 and was made aware that AHS does not Cover Flow restrictions we feel you dont want to call your home warranty as they already denied this on your policy you can call for a second opinion but you dont want to because if ****************** comes back as they same as ours they will possibly charge you for a service fee... I think that we have properly addressed this complaint this will be our last response on this matter .

    Respectfully

    Customer Answer

    Date: 03/21/2023

I am rejecting this response because:

    Hello,

Addressing 2020 water pressure issue, since he has repeatedly stated the issue in 2020 (3 years ago), since the beginning of the complaint and on which is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!!!

I completely disagree with the person at Budget Rooter who has made up stories, lied and being so cinycal the same as the techs, in sending the same pictures I sent on my attachments, except one that if he pays attention and analytical, would realize in 2020 is not even the same faucet. He has brought up something very old that was a problem back then again in 2020, that is irrelevant to this dates compliant on breaking my faucets.  In 2020, was a problem that his incompetent, lazy, liers and cynical plumbers, that didnt want to fix the problem back then by just replacing the faucet and that is all needed to be done. But instead they lied, made up stories about build up, altered the diagnosis report, so the warranty company would not take care of the replacement. But in reality all needed to be done, was replacing the faucet.  However, other plumbing company replaced it for me and fixed the issue of the pressure.

So, before Les came over to my house, everything was working fine, great water pressure (different faucet from 2020), as on my pictures I sent on last email. Except, the hot water handle being very hard. And that was my ONLY issue I reported on the service work order, nothing else!

So again, you turned yourself in regards of saying something very old and irrelevant!!

Your tech had also told me that he needed some parts replaced as stated on the invoice he gave and informed me that he was going to submit it on his report to the warranty company and what he did was totally different. I will be attaching the invoice he forgot he gave me.

You have people who are not honest, lazy and likes to make up stories, so they wouldnt have to fix something very simple and makes up stories, by altering the diagnosis, increasing the price, of things in order of customers things to be repaired, like also show on your reviews, besides not customer service, since YOU never answer the phones, not even to set up an appointment.

Besides everything of what you stated which is very old, irrelevant and inaccurate, the warranty company has the service work order of the issues I called about and it wasnt about the water ?? pressure at all or the handle broken. Your negative actitud is being worse than your techs. It would be easier for you to repair/replace my faucets, since they were broken by your tech!

So be honest and responsible in repairing/fixing my faucets before I take other actions. This is my last message to you. The better business bureau is aware of the situation.

I will be waiting for your response again before I take other actions.

    Thank you,
