I paid $2500.00 to Page Turner as a down payment for a project to list my book in the ** A. Times. That project was never completed. I have tried to contact Page Turner through the financial department to ask for a return of those funds and never heard from them then i tried another department and have never heard anything from them. i would like my money returned and since they done nothing more and ignored my request I wish to terminate my contract with Page Turner and gave my money returned.Review from BRENDA W

I have read all the lies stated in Page Turner replies to complaints. I have been scammed out of nearly $10,000, I sadly see others have been scammed out of huge $$ amounts. I have also researched them and found they have 2 addresses, both mailboxes in postal stores. Their company LLC is registered to a small blue house in ***********, expect this is where they work out of.I have confirmation from Alliance of Independent Authors in ****** ** that Page Turner "Unfortunately, we are well aware of Page Turner. Our Watchdog rates them a Caution". Their website is allianceindependentauthors.org, their list shows their ratings for publishing companies worldwide.Page Turner has a terrific website, paid for by all their scams, don't be fooled by their fancy words - they are a scam company, some call them a 'vanity' or 'hybrid' publishing company, they charge horrendous prices for low quality services. I have emailed other PT authors who agree they have been scammed. Ask the authors claiming success how much they had to pay for their 'success'. It is very, very sad PT is allowed to continue in the publishing world.Review from Kenneth B

PageTurner Press and Media, operates out of ***************! They have no office in ***********, **, The address, if Googled, turns out to be a store called "Postal Annex" that simply receives mail. Their "Agent" collects the mail and forwards it to their location in ***************. Checks are deposited in a local bank, probably in or near ***********, then funds are transferred from there to a *********** location. All production and printing is done there too. How do we know this? Like other fools, we too were scammed for a "bunch" and started checking things out. DON'T DO IT!!!!!Review from Neill R

I fell for their bait (my books have been accepted by traditional publishers. movie deals, etc..) and lost over $135,000. Even though I signed DocuSign agreements to receive month royalty payments, PageTurner is still selling my books worldwide on the internet and I haven't received a dime. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!Review from Jeannette L

I was contacted by *****************, senior literary agent at PageTurner Press and Media. *** said he was contacting me given the views my book "The Spark, It's What They Want" received. He wanted to present it to a conventional publisher for acquisition. I told him I really wanted was to have my new book published. He said "we can do that too". *** appeared to have petitioned mainstream publishers. Macmallan responded with an acquisition purchase price. There were terms I was to meet which was to have book insurance on "The Spark" and I was to pay for advertising for new book for $8020.00 (I have a letter where it was to be advertised). His system was down for credit cards so I wired the money. The time kept clicking away then *** told me ****** ******* wanted in on the deal as well as Paramount movies. He said they were working out the finances. Time drug; since I still hadn't signed anything I wanted my money back. I gave call after call requesting it. Finally I called and he told me he deposited it despite my requesting it back. I found out much later that the correspondence that the Macmallan that responded to me was issued from a fraudulent address. I was able to find their actual address and asked them if their proposal of acquisition was legitimate or fraudulent. They said it was a fraud. I downloaded some paperwork stating that PageTurner Press and Media was on their fraud alert list & they do not work with or have a relationship with them. They provided a listing of Macmillan illegitimate domains which *** used to appeared to me as being legitimate from Macmallan. At the time I would have liked to have trusted someone calling themself my literary agent who said he had my best interest in mind & considered that this was a legitimate business. He said he would get 12% of whatever I earned from the acquisition and therefore it would be in his interest to see that the acquisition would go through. ********* said *** impersonated them and ***************************.Review from Christopher V

Awful, awful. I was called (hounded) by ************************* from this company. She sent over a proopsal for me to switch my publishing company from Xlibris to Pageturner. I was promised new distribution, marketing, etc. I had to pay $1800 for their services and was given a lot of promises. I was then called (again and again mind you) that in order to get my book into book stores, I needed to pay $699 more dollars for "book insurance." I was told that doing so is the key to get my book into book stores because the stores can return unsold books with no issue. Immediately after I paid, my **** ******* went **** When I got my copies of the book, I saw that the print quality was awful compared with Xlibris. I immediately contacted ******* sent her photos and told her that this has to be improved. More than 6 months passed with me leaving messages for ****** 1-2 times per week (via email and phone). I heard nothing. Finally I heard back from her and I was told that "it was still being worked on." The print quality is STILL awful these 2 years later. Also, I was promised a full report as to what was done on my behalf as far as getting my book into book stores. I never got any report whatsoever about this. I was never informed as to which bookstores were approached about selling my book, how many copies, etc. To this day I have no idea where my $699 went becuse no book store has EVER put my book in store so not sure why I needed to purchase the book insurance. This company calls and calls when looking for me to purchase upgrades, but then goes *** when I try to contact. To this day (over 2 years) I have not recieved 1 dime in residuals. I am in the process of contacting everyone at the company to see what kind of refund I can get because clearly the $$ I sent was not used in the way I was promised. STAY FAR AWAY!Review from Darlene E

I was scammed twice by two separate agents who promised to make me rich and famous with the acquisition of my book by a major publishing company, i.e. Macmillan. I paid $12,500.00 the second time I gave them an opportunity to redeem themselves. The first agent took all the money I had invested and later died. I do not know how, but that is what the company told me later. They said they would try to make the situation right with me, and I never heard back from them again.Review from Lucila I

This is not at all credible nor is it trustworthy. I am considering filing a class action lawsuit, it is absolutely a scam. I, along with so many others was scammed out of our savings based on completely false and fraudulent intentions. When I went to visit their "office" - it didn't exist. What I found was a dry cleaning establishment that had never heard of PageTurners. I'm livid. The review requires a star rating for it to be accepted. I'd give a negative - no stars. Based on the many reviews I have been reading, I had been taken to the cleaners - wiped out of my savings. Also, why the BBB rating? They, the BBB can not enforce anything.Review from Barbara C

You get no stars from me. You took over $100,000 from me, I have no 401k now. At 76 years old you are really causing me great distress. You sold no books, I paid $10,000 for a New ********** book review and instead you put a tiny picture of my book on the page. You are dealing with elder abuse in my case and I should have listened to my family, I have notified the San Diego District Attorney and hope to get some (if not all) of the money back from you scammers. One star because they would not let me leave you none.
