My book was published with Page Turner on September 27, 2023. I am supposed to receive quarterly sales reports from ******, sales distributor. I have not received any!! These reports and any money to be paid to authors goes directly to Page Turner and then is correctly sent to their authors. I have never received this, but I should have received this about 6 times now, across 6 quarters. I am being withheld from money owed to me through external platform sales. Moreover, I have never once seen the sales report. I want the sales reports and the money owed to me, please. I spent 1000s of dollars on this book and I need reimbursement. The company Page Turner Press and Media have quit answering my many emails and the number to the company says there is no one there to take my call. I did text them and told them that I would be contacting the BBB as to their ignoring me now after I have paid them ********* over the past two years. I can send you receipts if they try to say it isn't so. They have everything on file if you can even get a hold of them at this point. The last time we talked about not receiving my royalty check they said they were having issues with the system and would be in touch with me. They have not answered my emails or phone calls since this time about 4 weeks ago. I have called at least 2 times a week since with no response, only a recording. How can they say that they have addressed the problem when they do not reply to my emails and the number I call them on says that there is no one there to take my call. I have left many messages and they do not respond. It's funny that they say to call their care department and there is no number I have called or messages that I have sent that they have responded to until I have had to take this action. I just want to know where my royalty check is!!

I was repeatedly called by Athnes ***** from PageTurner Press and Media. I was very wary as I had, had a bad experience with two other Publishing companies. Then she sent me a contract from Pageturner and I received another from an ***** ****** from ***************************** saying they were going to pay me ******* for my book. ***** said the only thing I had to pay was ****** for another library if congress number. She kept calling and acting like they were in the process of printing. They sent me new book cover to approve and make corrections. Then they sent my manuscript for corrections and approval. Before the last book correction I was on the phone everyday with *****. Then no contact. I called the number she had been using and even Googled Pageturner for another number no answers and you didnt get to leave messages.which I thought was odd. What business doesnt have voice mail? So I ******* ****** and ***** and ask for ***** ******. I was promptly called back. It seems that Pageturner had copied her image and a fake contract and was scamming people out of thousands of dollars. She explained that she got about 5 calls a week with the same story. She had her fraud department call me back and give them the information that I had from Pageturner. They said if I hadnt of got suspicious I wouldve been told that to print the book I needed ****** dollar insurance on the book but I only had to pay ***** and Pageturner would pay the rest. ***** also told me that I didnt have to get another ******************* number that was a lie. So thank God I only lost ****** dollars. This company should be shut down and these people put in jail. How are they still allowed to function?Business Response

May 6. 2024 Demands for funding legal representation at the Book adaptation contract signing $28,000 and payment for a Public Relations campaign for publicizing the book before signing and in preparation for the filming. $44,250 The Adaptation contract was never consummated and proved to be a Scam. The money solicited as a condition for the contract was based on Service agreements by Page Turner and signed by the CEO ***** ******. Both service agreements proved to be part of a fraud.Page Turner continues to hold the money and has so far failed to respond to my demand letters.Neither of these two payments where used in any way for the closing and requirements of the fake adaptation contract. Pageturner acted has our agent and publisher for some children books I had written. A company in the ** agreed to buy a lot of my books. Pageturner then said we had to join this company in **** that the funds from the book sale would go through. Pageturner said we had to pay $4900 plus to join this company, so we paid it. Then when the funds came in Pageturner siad we had to pay taxes on it before the company would release the funds. We paid the $2960 and Pageturner cashed the check on July 17, 2024. We then contacted our point of contact a Joezel Cogtas and he said we should have the money in days. Well, it has been weeks and no money. I have contacted them several times and even their support **** with no resolution. Now they will not even take calls from me. According to **************************'s statement on my account the money is there under my name ********* **** account statement #******** for $43,084.80 waiting for Pageturner to tell them I have paid the taxes on it which I did and Pageturner cashed on the 17th of July. So they will release the money to my bank account as agreed to. ****** is at **************************************************************. However, Pageturner has done and is doing nothing and will not take calls from me to resolve the issue. I have a lot of e-mails to support this claim and sent them to the Support **** of Pageturner and spoke to ****** ext 916 on 8/28/24 at which time he confirmed receiving the e-mails showing all this and have got nothing since and have made several calls to them to try and resolve but nothing.Business Response

The transaction commenced in June 2024. They claimed to have book order of ****** copies from ****** Booksellers for our Children's book: The Adventures of Princess *******, ****** ******* Jnr and their Blue Dragon. We were made to pay them $1500 for a book publishing package even when our book is already published and online in Amazon stores. We gave them a ready to print file and they were supposed to print and supply to ************************. They turned around and asked for another $1500 refundable by the following week for book returnability insurance. After receiving the money. They refused to refund the $1500 for insurance as promised since July.They came up with another scheme that they need $7000 to market the books. At this point in July we asked them to cancel the agreement and refund the $3000 we have paid so far because we have become tired of further and unforeseen costs arising from a simple print and sell agreement. We have sent in two written requests to cancel the agreement refund our money as per the cancellation procedure in the agreement but no response from them. Their phone lines for ****** ***** who we have been dealing with are not being answered and no voicemail access to her.We need this agreement terminated and our $3000 paid so far plus the fees associated be refunded back to us.Business Response

We also called the so-called author advisor line for Joanna Marie but the number is not answering calls and no voicemail opportunity. Please ask them to cancel the agreement and refund our $3000.00 immediately. We are not interested in doing any business with them. Thank you

May, June, July 2024,; company was to promote my book, and finish a contract with Astra Publishing at **************************** *****, that was going to get the rights of my book, paying me an exorbitant amount.. Since August, Page Turner, after a quick excuse from **************************, CEO and Owner ( also referred to by me as ******); there has not been any communication from him (who would call me at least twice a week. The first $2,000.00 were spent on: Book Marks, Business cards and Posters. After this Astra Publishers required a down payment of a wired bank check check of $1,500.00 for books not sold leaving me with a balance of $2,089.00. I initially was contacted in 2022 by Pageturner as a hybrid publisher. Since I have many manuscripts ready, I selected one of the publishing packages and worked to finalize the manuscript for publication.The book was ready in July of 2023, and that's when the scam started.************************* from Pageturner contacted me towards the end of August and claimed that ********* was interested in publishing my book. He took almost $5K from me for "book return insurance" (which policy was never really issued) and another $6K towards getting the book reviewed by *************** which never happened. The date for the book signing event kept mysteriously moving from November 18 to December 15. About December 15, ***** told me that ********* had offered to pick up two more of my books but needed book return insurance for both of them. Total spend so far $21K, all from loans from family. Finally, he asked me to pay another $10K towards two more ************** reviews. The final book signing date was supposed to be on March 8th. I went to the venue (**********, ********) on March 8th and found no event there. Macmillan has announced that it has no connection with Pageturner (************************************************).Business Response
