I ordered an air conditioner component for a 2002 ***** Malibu. When the mechanic installed the component it did not work. Attempts to get a refund were met with requests to send a video of the component not working. No refund will be sent unless this occurs. The mechanic did not video his work but charged me for his time. I have a component that is not functioning and out money for the installation. I asked for a refund for the component and will send it back but this company is not willing to refund the purchase amount. The return will cost me money out of pocket to return it with no promise of a refund.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on ************************** on February ******* for a ********* ************* GLK X204 GLK350 Front Hood Bumper Grill Grille costing me $115.88 and never received the item. I received an email notification the item purchase was placed, the item purchase was shipped. They never shipped the item, never arrived and I never received an arrival email notification. Suspiciously enough I then received an email asking me to review the item purchased. I believe I was scammed out of $115.88 and did not receive the product I paid for. I then called the contact number I found for motorgenice multiple times. No one answered the call and there was no opportunity to leave voice messages. They did not call back. Many days later on March 10, 2025 at 10:49 pm I received a suspicious text message stating, Thanks for contacting Motorgenic.What can we do for you? Very suspicious and very unprofessional. I did not consent to text messaging and still have not received my item after 2.5 months. Can you please help me to receive a refund? Thank you!Initial Complaint

I ordered an Anti-Lock Brake Pump ABS 44510-48060 *********** 44510-48060 44510-48061 from Motorgenic with a 1 year warranty warranty. The part failed in September 24. I reached out by phone and email and sent them the requested information and returned the defective part back to Motorgenic. Motor offered to pay me 30% of what I paid for the part and I declined. They cut off all communication and never refunded my money. Now April 25 they sent me a email saying that a refund had been sent. It was not. I responded to the email that i hadnt received the refund. ***** stated that ****** wouldnt allow a refund after 6 months. Not true! Also he stated that he would send a refund if I withdrew the complaint that I filed with the **********************************. Im sure thats illegal or at least unethical. So Im out of $1014.99 for the part and without the part. Something has to be done. They are literally scamming like its legal. I was lied to they stated that this was a name brand product in their description which it's not its A Chinese knockoff they also stated it was coming from **************** another lie I don't think they even have A store in ********** because come to find out it's coming from ***** proving it's not the name brand I was looking at on their website. I purchased a lifter kit in April 2024 this year. Its for a 2011 GMC sierra ** I got the package on time a professional mechanic to install the kit in my truck the mechanic installed the kit in my truck and when he started it, its making a pinging noise and mechanic says that the lifters that I bought from Motor genic are no good and not holding pressure that the lifters that they sent me are no good. I contacted them and I let them know the issue. They asked me for a video of the problem. I provided them with one they also asked me to have mechanic. Make sure he installed everything correctly which I did as well then they said they were gonna send me one lifter and I didnt realize that thats what they were telling me. I thought that they were going to send me replacement lifters they only sent me one for the whole kit now theyre not responding. I asked for a replacement kit because the one they sent is faulty or my money back and now Im not getting a response.
