I attended the free tax lien seminar at the Hilton in *******. I think its important to share my experience. First of all I really thought this would be a ******************** a little something about tax liens. In the beginning everyone tells you to wait until the end to ask questions. Ok no problem I understand this request. But then I began noticing things that concerned me. First my husband began recording the presentation the presenter suddenly got frustrated and in a firm tone demanded that he turn off recording. If this is a learning environment one should be able to record? I ask a question when will we be learning about the step by step process? Im thinking they talk about no risk investing and theres thousands of liens to purchase but they never mention any steps to obtain the liens. Well the presenter says yes wait until the end to ask questions. So as they are nearing the end they now start going over a a three day event one must attend to really learn about tax liens. They say drop everything you must go to this event but then they drop the bombthey say its only $600 and $1275 but for one time only we will discount the $600 fee then class is over and they rush you to the back to sign up for the three day event and give them a credit card. They didnt allow questions as promised instead they end with oh go sign up and give your credit card I noticed they purposely didnt allow any questions. Finally I ask the presenter what if I pay for the event with my first tax lien investment + interest and why am I reading about Mr. ******************** scamming people and lawsuits?these were honest questions he suddenly got very angry and says first of all you have to pay so you have skin in the game. And then he angrily says I wouldnt want you as a student if you think its a scam so Goodbye he gets angrier and ******* and rushes me to the door. I never said it was a scam however if someone is angry that tells me they are no good
