    During sign up, we were told that a 30 day notice would need to be given before cancellation. Notice was given on June 2nd and I was told today that not only would the month of July be charged but also another fee of $59. I have requested to speak with the manager multiple times now and I have emailed the manager too but have yet to hear from them. Rip off and thieves!!

    I have attempted to cancel my membership numerous times and each time ive been given an excuse. I call to cancel and was told cancellations had to be done in person. I explained that I moved more than 60miles away and this was a huge inconvenience. Today I drove 60+ miles and was told the manager wasnt available to cancel and it would only be done by a manager. This is a huge scam!!! This business is taking advantage of consumers and the state of California should address immediately. Ive paid for 4 extra months due to their shady business practices

    I have called and emailed the location multiple times for over a month, beginning in August of 2024 to have my membership canceled, as the signed agreement with the business states is my ******** of writing this, September 2024, my membership has not been canceled and I am still being charged.

    On July 16, 2024 I received a collections letter. At no point was I a member or am I a member of Crunch. I attempted to contact the collection company, spoke to someone on the phone, and was told that they would remove my phone number, that does not remove the scam debt. The only interaction I have ever had with Crunch was someone harrassing me on campus. Here is the email that I sent to the collections agency. To Whom It May ******** Regarding Master Acct No: ****** I have never at any point joined or belonged to Crunch Fitness. THis debt is not mine and inaccurate. The only interaction I have ever had with Crunch Fitness was one day on my college campus. That day a hispanic gentleman, maybe named *****, followed me to class wanting to tell me about Crunch. I told him that I was late for class and already belong to LA Fitness. He stated that he would walk with me and if I gave him my contact information they would just reach out to me and then he was doing his job. I have never joined, nor been asked to join Crunch. This is a scam.When I just called now to clear the record, the person told me they would just remove my phone number, they even made a fake date of birth. This is a scam. Please clear my records. I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. *************************** This business is praying on and scamming students. Please help me clear this record, my credit and take action against Crunch Fitness.

    On March 24th 2024 I noticed that I was being charged twice for my membership. I brought this up to the general managers attention. His name is ******* and I spoke with him about this issue. He said he doesnt know what happen and why it happen but that hed provide me a refund. After ignoring my requests for email and phone call updates on my refund Ive had to show up in person to get anything done.An employee let me know that his general manager tends to brush people off and that he doesnt recommend I communicate with him and gave me his operation managers email.After constantly asking for an update and waiting for 2 weeks, on April 16th 2024 reached out to the operations manager. She also informed me that the refund was done incorrectly and that my refund was submitted for review again.In total today April 24th 2024, I have waited 4 weeks without a refund. I recently reached out to the district manager ***********************, who refused to give me a phone number. He informed me that itll take another 7 days to get this completed. I am still waiting for a refund of $145.95 for the 5 months I was incorrectly charged. I will be waiting 5 weeks now for something that I was told would get done the first time in 5-7 business days. I have yet to receive one phone call or email without me having to reach out or show up in person.

    I signed up for the gym over the phone, and I was never provided my account agreement. I was not aware that in order for me to cancel I needed to notify, Crunch Gym, in ********, **, 10 days before billing. I called the gym on Oct. 26, ********************************************************************* to cancel, then they say I can do it by e-mail. This company failed to provide me with my account agreement, which as a result has cost me money. They will charge my bank account on November 1, 2023. I was never informed of the company's cancellation policy, but the gym insists on charging me for the coming month. This business has deceptive practices, and I would like it to be known. It's a matter of principle, not money. The Gym decides to send me my account agreement finally when I call to notify them of my cancellation, today Oct. 26, 2023. I spoke to ******, a manager at the ******** location, who sates he can't stop the payment from being processed. Crunch ******** is very technical with matters that benefit them, but they failed to provide me with adequate information that would have been beneficial to me when canceling. After reviewing the agreement, I noticed that they forged my signature or made it appear as if I signed. I never signed this agreement.

    I am rejecting this response because: I did cancel my account several years ago, and I was a customer. Your response is not helpful. Do you know if you charged someone with a card with my name recently? Obviously you kept my credit card information otherwise I wouldn't have seen a charge on my account that said "**********************."

    I have looked into our system and I cannot find a membership under that name. Also, if the account was never cancelled it is still active. Please stop by the club and speak with any available manager on duty.

You should be able to lookup my name, and know if you are charging me or not.  I will not recommend your business to anyone.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I was told back in mid to late February that the refund was submitted but I never received a refund. I spoke with the district manager around early March and he told me he would submit it himself. Three weeks later and still no refund. I spoke with the district manager again and he said he forgot to submit it and that it would be submitted. Early April and still no refund. 

    Today i was shown an email dated April 22, 2023 which stated that it was submitted. This is now three week's since that email and still no refund.

    Crunch Fitness has been back charging me for months against my knowledge even though I specifically met a stipulation within their contract that I could cancel my membership due to me moving to an area that did not have a crunch within appropriate distance of my new residence.

    On 1/10/23 I reached out to the manager@crunchcerritos email address as I was reviewing transactions on my bank account and noticed unexpected and unauthorized charges on my account. I explained I was in ********** for the summer and joined the gym explaining I only needed July and August because I live abroad. I requested a refund and provided a screen shot of the charges. I sent a follow up on 1/12/23 and on 1/13/23 the agreement number was requested and I did not have it but provided all of my information. On 1/19 ***********************, General Manager process the cancellation. I asked If it included the refund and never received a response.
