I spoke with ******* ******* *******, the owner of Paws That Matter pet rescue regarding my interest in adopting a dog. At that time she said that she has lots of dogs for adoption and would send me pictures of three small dogs that were available to adopt.I followed up with her several times in text and phone calls. She texted me back once and said that she would send them over that day, I havent received anything from her. I reached out to her on her ******** page and she responded that she sent them, which she did not. My responses to Paws That Matter on ******** keep getting deleted. Deleting comments instead of addressing legitimate concerns publicly does not reflect accountability or transparency, especially for an organization that represents itself as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit She also claimed that all of her dogs are on Adopt a Pet because her web site is under construction. Their website has been under construction for many years. There are no dogs or cats on their website, nor on Adopt a Pet for Paws That Matter.Misrepresentation and lack of accountability are concerns that potential adopters and donors should be aware of. I want to share my direct experience so other potential adopters and donors can make informed decisions. The lack of information on their website about available animals, adoption process, adoption applications, or rescue operations is concerning. Adopt a Pet" listings show no animals available for Paws That Matter - when they said they had animals there.Sponsors listed on Paws That Matter website have not had contact with them in years and are not current sponsors - which is misleading, dishonest, and unethical. If they are in fact operating as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit, accuracy and transparency are not optional; they are legal obligations. Can someone please investigate Paws That Matter?
