    and the one star is just because of its location! My wife and I stayed here for two nights, August 7th and 8th, after having called that morning to see if there were any vacancies. When told there were, we drove to ********, checked in, telling the person at the desk that we anticipated staying for five days. We were required to pay for the entire stay, and so paid $3589.60, the full amount for five nights, by our **************** card. We were never given any terms or conditions to our stay, nor anything in writing. Unfortunately, I became Ill after the first night, and so, checked out after the second night, telling the person at the desk that I was having serious health issues, and had to return home to *******. He said wed be given a credit for the unused portion of our stay, three nights, and we returned home believing a credit would be forthcoming. When I noticed no such credit on our next **************** bill, I called the hotel, spoke with *****, and then ******, and was told there would be no refund or any credit per the companys policy. Of course, we were never told this before this call, nor were we given any written materials that suggested such. And, it was directly contrary to what we were told when checking out. The unfortunate result is that we received no refund or credit, and ended up paying for five nights, even though the room was used for two days only. This provides significant unjust enrichment to this disingenuous establishment. Dont go there. Take away-if ya must go, get everything in writing.
