Ordered a Breast Pump at the end of April on May 2nd got a an email from the company regarding needing a picture of my insurance card. I emailed back a picture of the card as requested. Two weeks later I hadnt heard anything and I tried to call and nobody answered so I left three voicemails and nobody called back. I finally received an email saying the exact same thing as the first one and I had replied to the email that a photo had already been sent to this exact email however I forwarded the email with the information yet again. It is now almost July and I have not heard a single update I tried to call 20+ times and never once did anyone pick up. Every time I left a voicemail and never received a call back. I tried to text the company multiple times and same as calling, no response. I Finally found the original email I was sent and replied to it stating my concerns as I am due to give birth soon and still do not have a breast pump. I received an email back stating my order is still processing because they needed my doctors information. Never once was I reached out by the company so they can obtain this information.Business Response

This company has gotten ahold of my medical insurance information, my address and my phone number without my consent or authorization and has used it to scam my insurance and bill them for a product I never ordered. This is the email I sent them the day it happened, (today 06/12/2025): Do not send me anything, you have somehow gotten a hold of my insurance information as well as my address and I do not know how. I will be contacting my insurance to deny any claims you may make to them. You are scamming me and my insurance. I have an email from fed ex as well as a text message from your staff asking me to verify my information which I never did. Id suggest your email a return slip because I will not be charged and neither will my insurance company be paying for a pump I never asked for and never consented to be sent my way. These people do not answer the phone or their emails. I have already contacted the **** (*******************************) and will be alerting my insurance to this scam. I would never get this breast pump and to have my single breast pump credit stolen by this company is disgusting and taking advantage of mothers like myself.Business Response

I have been trying to order a spectra breast pump through their website and I cant finish the e process it seems like the website wants to force me to chose a specific pump. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the recent complaint regarding difficulties adding a credit card to our system in connection with ordering a Spectra breast pump.
Were sorry to hear that the customer experienced issues with our system. We received a voicemail after business hours on Friday, May 9, at 6:35 PM. Our intake supervisor returned the call and was able to speak with ***** on Monday, May 12.
During the conversation, our intake supervisor explained that due to insurance limitations, her IPA (********************************) was at risk, and unfortunately, we are out of network with her insurance provider. We provided ***** with the necessary information and contact number for her insurance company so she could locate an in-network supplier that can provide the Spectra breast pump at no cost to her.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and regret that we were not able to fulfill this request under her current insurance coverage. If ***** has any further questions or needs additional support, we are happy to assist however we can.Thank you,

I ordered a breast pump from this company, who claims to go through insurance for a low-cost option. We paid the remaining $100 difference to complete the transaction in December 2024. When I contacted my insurance company on 1/28/2025, they had not received anything from A Breast Pump and More or it's affiliate Hygeia. I have called these companies almost every day over the last two weeks, leaving 4 voicemails and one email. No one will answer or return my calls. I'd like to have the pump I paid for over a month ago, and my baby is due in about a month.Business Response

On 9/20/2024 I got a text message saying they recieved my order for a breast pump. I NEVER ordered a breast pump through this company. EVER!!! I tried calling several times but it went straight to voicemail. I then less than 30 minutes later get a text saying it has shipped. I try to call again, straight to voicemail. I have never ordered a breast pump through this company. I have contacted my insurance company to hopefully deny any claim they put forth as I never put in an order.This company needs to contact me stat and cancel this order before it ships. This must be some kind of insurance fraud. I have contacted my insurance with a heads up to deny any claims. Our customer service supervisor tried to reach out today, 9/23/24, via phone and email and she was not able to get in touch with you yet. We received your breast pump order from your doctor, they sent it over to us through the portal that they have set up with us. We apologize if this was not communicated to you prior. A breast pump and more took my insurance number and ordered a breast pump which I did NOT want. I only get one breast pump through my insurance so I have been calling non stop to get them to stop the order of the wrong breast pump and claiming my insurance benefit. They do not answer their emails (automated message) and they do NOT answer their phones, I've at all hours of the business hours. Now I am trying to block the claim so they don't use my one pump benefit and I'm trying to cancel the order that was NOT authorized by me.Business Response

This is the company my OBGYN used to prescribe my breast pump through insurance. I ordered a Spectra S2 breast pump through this company on 12 July and paid $29 for the upgrade choice. Since I ordered this pump, I have had two email exchanges with the company and one phone conversation. During the emails and phone conversation, I resolved an insurance issue that was the fault of the company (incorrect data entry) and was told I would receive my pump on 21 July, which did not happen. This company is incredibly difficult to contact, and I have left several messages that were never answered. I have since had my triplets and had to rent a hospital pump for nearly the price of the pump I ordered. It has been over 6 weeks and I have not received the pump, nor any information on the status of the pump I ordered. Additionally, I had to contact the company multiple times to resolve issues that were not my own making. I'm suspicious that this company bills insurance and then makes it so hard to get the ordered pump that customers quit trying to resolve the issue. It seems quite scammy and there is no recourse because their customer service is nonexistent.Business Response

I reached out to my insurance when I knew I was expecting, and they let me know that this business was the only one that I could get my breast pump through (come to find that is incorrect when dealing with all of this- but that is beside the point and not a reflection on this interaction). I was told by my doctor that they would not approve breast pumps until 3rd trimester- okay cool! I filled out the information with this business, only for them to ship it in the middle of my 2nd trimester. It showed as delivered, but I did not receive it. 4 phone calls later- no one has reached out to my voicemails (no one answers their phones), and I am not battling with my insurance to get a refund on this bill, as I need to order a new breast pump through another company. I am not happy with this company and have heard from my insurance that I don't need to go through them. BUT- my insurance will not cover another breast pump until they hear back from the company itself to settle billing.Business Response

This company filed a fraudulent insurance claim under my name -- I never contacted or ordered from this business but received a product from them that used up my insurance budget for breast pump. They billed my insurance for $500 and because of it I couldn't order from the provider I discussed with care provider.They also obtained my personal and medical information without my consent. I reached out to A breast pump and more to ask about getting a breast pump, once they gave me the information my provider placed the order and I payed them on their website to upgrade to the Spectra S1 a fee of $119. After this I have tried calling every number listed and email on their website many times for the last week and I have not received a reply. Im very stressed since Im about to have my baby and the last thing I want to deal with is a scam when I barely got the money to upgrade and now have no pump.Business Response
