    My name is *********************. I am the Executor of my mother's estate (*****************************, *************************************************************** - she passed away on April 14, 2022). I called Woman's World on May 16, 2022 to tell them that my mother had paid for a full year's subscription ($59.60 on 1/22/22 check #****) and that she had passed away, and that I wanted to cancel her subscription. I was told by the Woman's World representative that they would gladly cancel the subscription and that we would receive a refund of $41.65 within two weeks. I have called back at least 10 times since then, I have emailed a dozen times to find out the status on receiving the refund, and I am told the same exact story over and over- "we will escalate your issue with our refund department, and you should be receiving the refund shortly." I am at a total loss as to what to do. I understand that the amount is not significant, but it is the principle of "what's right is right". I feel like my mother, who was a long-time subscriber of the magazine is not being respected, has been cheated and not given the refund that she is rightfully owed. In my 55 years of life, I have never run into this kind of horrific customer service.

    I ordered magazine 2 months ago. Have not received any issues yet. I paid for a 1 year subscription for $29.99. I November 2022.

    I have began receiving issues from them. So I think they have responded well to my complaint. I'd like to consider it settled, as that's all I need.

    Woman's World made unauthorized charges on my credit card, 09/26/2022 for subscription which I did not authorized. I called on 09/27/2022 and asked to return my money ******* After long hold, they told me that within 2 weeks, I should have refund back.
    I called on 10/14 again. The same situation, I was on hold for long time. Employee stated my request has been escalated. Came back with the same scenario: he escalated to the management and apologized for inconvenience.
    I called again on 11/10/2022, I had to explain everything again, they stated they will do escalation to upper management again and by 11/27/2022 I should have refund, as 100%. Came back with the same scenario: she escalated to the management and apologized for inconvenience.
    I called today again, today is 12/06/2022. The same scenario: explained all history, employee put me on hold for a long time. Came back with the same scenario: he escalated to the management and apologized for inconvenience.
    At this time I explained that Woman's World is making stress out people. They charge credit card without authorization. They stated they have to set funds aside in order to refund. We are not talking about thousands of dollars! This business is sounded as a scam.
    BBB - please help me with my refund! Also, you should advise other people about this magazine - they are acting as scam . One more: since I requested my refund, I did not receive any magazines on a mail too!

    Hello *** and thank you for contacting that business. After your contact with them, they posted refund. I received a credit for unauthorized purchase effective yesterday.
    We can close this case now.

    If it is possible, I would like to give a feedback Abiut this company. What they do is not right.

    I subscribed to woman's world Aug 12th of this year. I first contacted them Oct 4th as I was not getting the magazine which is weekly. The response was they would send out back copies (why would I want back copies, its old news?) which took 4 weeks to get here. To date I have only received two copies and nothing else. I had the post office look into it, a very nice woman. There is nothing coming in that they can find. She did explain that they needed to check from the point of origin. I called to relay this information and her phone number and was treated quite rudely. I have since requested my money be refunded as I am not getting the service I paid for. It is $59.60. And this company will not respond now to emails, messaging etc.

    I subscribed and have had the following complaints about not receiving this magazine. I don't exactly recall what year perhaps in 2021, I stopped receiving magazines about March or April, I called customer service, they added months to my subscription, they forwarded some missing issues, but others weren't available, so I never received those. This year 2022, I didn't receive June 6, 13, 20, July 4, 11, 18. My subscription was valid till September 2022. I called was told they would add months, and would send the issues that they could but some were not available them to send. I also contacted post office they worked with me as best they could, but they can't deliver what they don't get. I never received any promised issues, and still got intermittent issues. I called again, was told they would mail issues, never got them, and now I am being sent a bill for a new subscription, with threat of collection? I told first person I talked to I would not be renewing, why should I pay for magazines that I don't receive. On July 27th, I sent an email asking what the heck is happening.

    I read reviews online about this same problem. Hopefully I will receive a response, because I never got anything from being promised mailed missing issues to my email. It's not a great magazine, but entertaining enough. Sincerely,************

    Sent in $24.98 for a subscription renewal in July. They cashed check on 7/15/2022. Never sent any more magazines. I emailed them and they said I need to call. I called and they don't show me having renewed. I was then told to send in copy of check. Which I did on 9/12/2022(from my work email address). I sent a few more emails, to have them confirm. They don't respond at all now. I want my refund of $24.98. I will never buy this magazine again.

    I ordered the magazine and was not happy with it so I called to canceal the magazine.they told me with in two weeks I will get refund.come June still no refund. I call and they tell me they sent me a check come july still no refund call them. They tell me it was sent I told them never got refund,now they have to trace the check for me to call august if do not get the check.beginning of august call they tell me the same story of check was sent and now the have to trace it.this was supposed to be done in July.tells to to call back august 26 if I donot hear anything here I call September 5 and they tell me it is still being traced.another month.I am fed up with this company I want my refund already thank you.
