Since July 2022, I have been charged $55.18 every three months by Mashvisor.com for a subscription service that I did not sign up for or use. I only became aware of these charges when reviewing my bank statements. Upon investigating, I reset my login credentials on their website and discovered that my account profile only contains my email address and payment informationno other personal details such as my name, address, or phone number are listed.

I signed up two years ago and then canceled after 1 month. However, the cancellation didn't take for some reason, even though I spoke directly to someone at that time. I've been trying ever since to get the service and auto charges stopped and can no longer connect to a live person. I have gotten no/little response via email and was charged again in November 2024. To date, I've been charged almost $1,000 and recently closed my bank account (of 20 years!) to get the charges to stop.

Dear team I am writing to file a formal complaint against Mashvisor, a real estate software company for issues related to unauthorized charges. On May 7, 2024, I tried sign up for Mashvisor's 7-day free trial registered under the email ************************ with the intent of evaluating their service. Due to the emails received, I believed my trial never went through. I didn't have an opportunity to review the trial because I assumed I had no access. I was then charged for an annual subscription on May 15, 2024. Once I saw that I had been charged, I immediately sent their support team a message attempting to cancel. I went in and cancelled the service. After multiple attempts of contacting their support without receiving a reply, I'd like to raise an issue to the BBB in hopes of getting a resolution. There's no need for me to be charged $899.88 and to be ignored by the company, that's theft.

Dear ***/*****,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Mashvisor, a software company based in ********, **********, for issues related to unauthorized charges incurred during a purported 7-day free trial period, which has not been honored according to their advertised terms. Below are the details of my complaint for your review and intervention: ******************************* Name: Mashvisor Company Address: ************************************************** Company ******************************** E-mail: ********************************** Complaint Summary: On February 15, 2024, I signed up for Mashvisors 7-day free trial on two separate accounts, registered under the emails ********************* and *************************** with the intent of evaluating their service. Despite cancelling the subscriptions within the trial period (on February 19, 2024, for ********************* and on February 15, 2024, for **************************** I was erroneously charged a total of $1,499.76 across both accounts. The specific charges were as follows: $899.88 charged to the account associated with *********************. $149.94 and $449.94 charged to the account associated with *************************** These charges directly contradict the terms of the free trial offer advertised by Mashvisor and were made without my authorization. Desired Resolution: I seek a full refund of $1,499.76 for the unauthorized charges applied to my accounts during the supposed 7-day free trial period. I request the BBBs assistance in resolving this matter promptly, as my attempts to secure a refund directly from Mashvisor have not been satisfactorily addressed. Supporting Documents: Attached/Enclosed are copies of the sign-up confirmations, cancellation confirmations, and bank statements highlighting the unauthorized charges.I trust that the BBB will assist in mediating this dispute and help in securing a fair and prompt resolution. I am prepared to provide any additional information or documentation as required. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,*********************

I cancelled my account in 2021. I disputed a charge of $209 that was charged to my account after the end of a trial period. After the dispute with my bank and receiving the refund Mashvisor continued charging my card quarterly. These charges were made without my permission and after I cancelled my account and deleted my card information. I dont even receive emails from Mashvisor anymore but some how they can still take my money. From what I can see online this happens often. This is predatory business tactics. The app doesnt even work properly to be worth the amount of money taken from me.

I cancelled this account back in 2021, and they charged my credit card in 2022. I cancelled the account, again in 2022. They just charged my credit card again Nov 9, 2023. When trying to contact them, they do not respond to their message service, the do not respond to their support email, and all avenues through their phone number lead to a voicemail. There is no way to delete your card information from their system, nor receive written confirmation that your account has been closed. Very deceptive business practices.

My husband and I started a 7 day free trial with Mashvisor on June 10, 2023. He looked up information that same evening after signing up for the trial and then never looked at the site again. He remembered on ************** June 18th - one day after the trial period ended and emailed them to cancel the account. They charged us $900 for a product that we didn't want and refused to refund us. BEWARE. Stay far away from this business. I see that there are tons of other complaints about them in regards to stealing money from people.

I recently had a situation where at least part of my identity was stolen. My email was compromised and at least one of my credit cards. On April 11h, 2023 I received an email from Mashvisor.com stating that I had signed up for their service and been charged $209.96. I had previously been trying out their free account but had not signed up for the service. I later realized that perpetrator may have seen references to their business in my email. I immediately contacted Mashvisor and they refused to refund the account. I believe miscommunication in my email may have played a part but regardless they were not understanding of the situation and refused the refund. At the same time as I awaited email reponses from ***************************** at Mashvisor, I contacted ********* to report the credit card theft and and had my card cancelled. All I'm asking is that the amount of the charge be refunded to my account.

On July 4th 2022, I signed up for a ********* 7-day trial for the professional version. I canceled the trial on July 10th 2022 because the service was not worth the price. However, my account was charged the full annual amount of $764.90. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I was initially credited the $764.90, but days later, Capital One stated that there wasn't enough evidence to credit me the $764.90. I was sent a letter by Capital One that the credited funds will be reversed and recharged to my credit card. I reached out to ********* to resolve the issue, however, they advised that once the credited funds have been returned to their bank, they shall refund my account. According to Capital One, funds were never withdrawn from *********, however, ********* insists that the refund will only be done once the funds hit their account. I even sent ********* the letter that Capital One sent me regarding the reversal of the initial refund.
