  Wish we had read the reviews...these folks took advantage of us. We had two other plumbers look at their work and they said Discount Plumbing is known for their dishonesty in the industry. Wish there was something we could do to get our money back

  I booked a plumber and was promised they would arrive between 4 and 6 pm. To accommodate this, I left work early and waited. I was assured multiple times that they would arrive within the hour. However, no one showed up. I called FOUR times, and each time I was told that the plumber had been contacted and was definitely on his way.After hours of waiting, no one arrived. The next day, they had the audacity to call me and lie, claiming the plumber had come but couldnt get in. This is the most ridiculous and blatant liethey must think their customers are idiots. I had been sitting there the entire time and made multiple calls to confirm the plumber was coming!I wasnt going to write a review, but their decision to lie directly to my face is unacceptable. Its one thing to miss an appointmentlife happens, traffic, whateverbut to blatantly lie to a customer? Thats where I draw the line. This business is unethical, and I feel obligated to warn others: DO NOT TRUST THEM.

  Discount plumbers took advantage of us. They charged almost $12,000 to replace 2 drain pipes and a portion of our sewer line (see the black pipe in the images). All of the pipes were easily accessed, it took less than a day to complete, they had all the materials to do the job.I found out from other plumbers that it should have cost $2,000-$4,000.Dont even bother calling for an estimate.

  BEWARE!!! Don't be fooled by the name of this company! There is nothing discount about their rates.We had a sudden water leak coming from the ceiling that involved two floors of our house. Discount Plumbing was the quickest to respond so had them come out. They opened up the ceiling and found the source. ***********************, the plumber, quoted us $19,000 ******* to replace about 30 feet of copper pipe!!!! This involves ~2 hrs of work and does not include any drywall work to close up the hole that they created in our ceilings. Talk about opportunistic and greedy!!! Avoid them at all cost.

  I had Discoint plumbing out to my property in ************* this Monday morning. I was planning to come out to a quick get away with my family until we had noticed a smell coming from our basement. We noticed water flooding out of the floor so we quickly called discount plumbing. They sent out their plumber *********************** and he diagnosed our issue and got it cleared with a pressure hose right away! Thank you discount plumbing and we will be calling you in the near future to complete the larger sewer project!

  Discount Plumbing has been helping me with my plumbing needs for years! They have a large number of knowledgeable technicians, provide free estimates and you can usually schedule an appointment on the same day within the hour. The office staff is also very friendly and responsive!

  On 10 Feb 2022, I called them about a dishwasher leak. One of their plumbers came out, pulled out dishwater and said I needed to replace it immediately. He had a very thick Hispanic accent and I had trouble understanding him (I'm elderly and my hearing isn't great). He didn't say what was wrong, but said he could fix the problem, remove the dishwasher, and purchase and install a new dishwasher within 24 hrs. I understood his quote as $961, and accepted. Instead of giving me a written estimate, he calculated things on an I-Pad and the only page I got to see was the one requiring my signature; it didn't include the cost. He showed up the next day with a cheap dishwasher made out of plastic (my State Farm agent later called it "crap" and said so to the company) and installed it. He then presented me with a bill (again on I-Pad) of $4629.00. Shocked, I thought I must have heard him wrong when he estimated cost. Foolishly (I'm an old lady and hate confrontation) I signed and wrote the company a check. I wasn't given a copy of the invoice. When I told family members, they were outraged and advised me to get a lawyer and **** I called Discount Plumbing and asked for itemized invoice. The invoice did not explain what the original problem was, and they were not able to provide that information to my homeowner's insurance agent. I talked with one of the owners and said the job was priced to high and charged incorrectly due to electronic coding error and "I'll fix this." He sent out someone who looked at the new dishwasher, said "things aren't built to last anymore" and offered me reimbursement of only $2000, which I accepted because I was afraid it was that or nothing. I shouldn't have accepted it; I should have sued in small claims court. I'm retired and on a fixed monthly income, which is far less that the amount I was charged. This has caused me a great deal of distress. I'll never again accept a job estimate without a paper contract being given to me before the service.
